The Main Flaw. |

This game, so far, is pretty good.
The only problem for me is the controls! Being used to the PS2 Battlefront, this really isn't easy. And the fact you can't customise controls doesn't help. ------------------- [/size]Credit to SXH

It's definitely not a flaw. Not when you compare it to the PSP version of Battlefront 2. Renegade Squadron features much improved controls. The only problem with it that I see is you can't turn off the stupid autocenter. And when you enter zoom mode, zoom mode is inverted (up moves down/down moves up) - who the heck plays a FPS/TPS game like that? People aren't airplanes.
There's also a glitch with the Snowspeeder on Hoth. If you use the tow cable on an AT-AT, you get stuck in tow-cable mode. Even after the AT-AT dies. Your only option is to get a new Speeder. Landing and getting out doesn't fix it. Also when you drive the AT-AT, you can't make it walk, though you hear the sound effect for it. These guys obviously didn't beta test enough. You can catch these flaws up front. Damned lazy asses. Also, Luke Skywalker's saber swing animation is pure crap. Everybody else has smooth swings, but Luke's looks like it has frames cut out of it. On top of that, Jedi in general have no alternate block button, or control setup style for that matter. When an enemy is shooting you, and you try to slash them, you block. You're basically stuck just blocking, which flat out sucks. L+R could have made for an easy blocking method. Lack of creativity in this area. Unless your hero has a gun or is a starfighter, they aren't all that great, and nowhere near as powerful as they were in BF2/BF1. ------------------- ![]()
