If you have a PS3, then yes. It's one of the staple shooters of the PS3.

You shouldn't just listen to my opinion though.

I got this game for christmas and have only been able to play it for about a day now since the update but this is already one of my favorite multiplayer games. Still can't get my wireless mic to work though.

The game is based on multiplayer only, and naturally, clan support is high, with features such as clan uniforms, and unlockables from joining a clan. There's probably a lot more features too.

I don't really see the point of clans. I hate them actually. I guess Ive just had really bad experiences with clans in the past SOCOM games.

well you cant really do good without a clan in confrontation. so suck it up?

I agree, clans suck. You can't do what you want to do. If you see a clan mate online, you HAVE to join their game. And sometimes it can be a game that you don't like. Being solo is a lot more fun to me.

yeah, im only in a clan with my best friends so i enjoy playin with them. i wouldn't join random peeps unless i always wanted to play with them all the time...ya know, *soft romantic music starts* when you first join a community game with 30 other players, and one of them take a bullet for you so you can make that righteous kill to end the game...sigh...they'll be your friend forever...*stops* but yeah, the game is DEFINATELY worth keeping, PSN exclusive!!!

Dont get this game if you are used to COD4 or 5 then this will be a massive let down when I received it the other day I was so excited thinking wow this game should be great but then I played it big mistake!

Anyways I sold it in less than a week and not to my surprise they had about 5 other copies that was pre-owned already!

As for the guy that cant get his mic to work its really easy and if you used the instruction manual that came with it, it would bne even easier! All you have to do is go into connect blu-tooth app stick the usb directly into the mic and there you go its done...

Eh, Socom doesn't really appeal to people who don't like to wait. (Especially when they constantly get owned and are forced to wait for the next round.)

Hmmmmm oh right so my love for Hardcore Search and Destroy is just nothing then and I must actually hate it since this game sucks
