Is there a way to do this, or do I have to use a program to map the controller buttons to a particular keyboard button? I have a GameCube controller attached to my PC, and I would like to use it instead of my keyboard.

With my controller port (its a ps2 one) it came with a CD, so it was easy for me to configure it. Either check out the control panel to fix it up or try downloading an app off the internet.

Oh I meant like where in the options in the actual game is there a menu to set up for using a controller?

I don't think there is a options in the game. You just have to configure the controller to the keyboard controls in order to make it work.

Pinnacle Game Profiler (http://www.pinnaclegameprofiler.com/) causes KartRider to shut down to the desktop. Has anyone had any success in getting a controller to work with this? I have an xbox controller hooked up to the USB port with the XBCD drivers.

I don't mind not using the Pinnacle program, I understand there are free software programs that probably do not conflict with KartRider running at the same time. Anyone who has a controller working, even if its not an xbox controller, could you please share how?

I discovered a program called joy2key that inputs joystick commands to your computer as keyboard presses.
