Yay, I beat Krunal to the intro thread. Go me!

Hell_Fire here. After 10 long years, the sequel has been announced. I don't think I've ever anticipated a game so much in my life. Hopefully it'll have the same spark that the original Starcraft had.

This game has been long coming and it is finally here, but there is a chance that is could turn out like starcraft:ghost...But think of what will happen to blizzard if they cut this game? I'm sure people will stop buying their games and other merchendise in order for them to get the picture. Starcraft 2 will be fantastic when it comes out...The CGI trailer looks sweet, and the gameplay looks sharp and well worked, I can not wait for this game, I am already upgrading to play it on my computer, although I don't think it will take much power to run it.

Hey, I've played SC competitively for a few years (a bit on and off). It's great to finally see a sequel, but GG to my post-secondary marks next year.

Yeah they would be really screwed if they cut this game, but it looks like there going all the way, if they cut it they will have allot of spam(100K+ messages) and probly half of those from me.

Everyone should know me, just got the game after not having it for 4 or 5 years. For those who dont, I am a Zerg player, and I like training to rush Mutalisks.

Welcome to the Starcraft II forum! I'm the section moderator of the Strategy section, so any requests or problems can be brought to me. I've been a long time fan of the genre, and I've got dozens of games based off it or in hybrid. I'll admit to playing more Warcraft than Starcraft but it's great to see this coming around! Lord knows, fans have waited long enough.

Hey I'm Animated. I've been playing Starcraft for a little over 7 years now and am really excited that Starcraft 2 has finally been announced. Hopefully it'll be just as great as the original.

I've been playing Starcraft since just before Brood War was released and played occasionally up untill the start of this year when I was robbed, and hence lost the games..

I'm just glad they finally made it offical and can't wait for this to come out.

Unfortunately it will probably be the same game with better graphics. I've low expectations.

I played SC for years and years before leaving it, and was in one of the better guilds on b.net(not wcg matieral, but still pretty skilled). This is the only game i can find to arouse my interest, and alot of it at that, im in for sure on this one.

I have many fond memories of Starcraft, it's probably my favourite game of all time.
