Attacks

So what attacks you do guys think everyone will get this time around? Hopefully they will be a little bit more creative then they have been in the past Budokai Tenkaichi titles.

Hopefully Majin Vegeta's Atomic Blast from B3 makes a return.

re: Attacks

Majin Vegeta did have an attack that was like Atomic Blast in BT2. I forgot what it was called but instead of a "blast" (like in B3) it was more of a "beam".

The grey blue attack? If it's that one...I love that one.

I have no clue? If I saw it I would remember. It's been awhile since I touched a DBZ game.

re: Attacks

IMO it's not a very special attack. But everyone us to their own.

I hope that with the ultimate attacks they get a little bit more "B3 style", you know, with all of the really good cutscenes. But they should give the option to be able to skip it if you want, because eventually the cutscenes get kind of old (as I'm sure most of you know).

re: Attacks

I was thinking that too. It's like in Final Fantasy X; when you summon an aeon, you have the option of making the cutscene short or long. It also automatically the same for the overdrives they do.

Yes! I think it was to easy to do big attacks in BT1 and BT2. Hopefully they go B3 style.]

re: Attacks

Thats not what I was talking about. I was just meaning the cutscene should be "B3 style". I didn't like how the ultimates where executed in B3. IMO, hyper mode was just a waste. The gauge thing you had to fill before executing the full attack was an alright system, but I didn't think it was very necessary.

re: Attacks

I agree that the Blast 2 moves and Ultimate Blasts should look a lot better than the past two games. The original Budokais nailed that.

As far as the actual moves though, I think BT2's setup was fine...I think the "ball" moves should be larger.

re: Attacks

A few of them sure. But most of them are fine to me. Fieza's Death ball and Kid Buu's Death ball are a few of them that should be bigger.

re: Attacks

Kid Buu has Planet Burst. But yeah, I agree with you...Aside from the 100% Death Ball/Emporer's Revenge, they're both rediculously small.

re: Attacks

In the show wasn't his Death ball half the size of the planet or something? In the the Tenkaichi series it is tiny. It is only like the size of a basket Ball or something (it is a little bit bigger, I know. But thats the only thing I could think of that is that close in size.)
