Welcome to the [PoW] Gang thread for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl! In this thread we will discuss matter such as trading, battling, and pretty much anything to do with Pokemon.

[PoW] was established over 2 years months ago on January 4th 2006. Since then, we have recruited over ten members and have started gangs in over 4 wi-fi games:

TOURNEY TIME! [PoW] is holding an internal tourney between our members to decide who will represent us in the clan battle.

We will be having a mini-tourney. The rules are as follows.

1) No more than five legendaries. (Just to make sure you don't have entire team filled with legendaries. *Looks at Aphi*)
2) All Pokemon will be set to lvl 100.
3) One match only, so make it count.

Here is how the tourney will be held; It is not your usual pyramid tourney. (You can blame that on the fact that we have an uneven amount of members)

Each member will battle all the members one time. We will keep a scoring rubric. You will receive a fraction according to your wins over total games. so a 4/4 would mean you beat all the members. The two members with the highest scores will face each other, and the winner of this battle will be our [PoW] representative.

Please PM me with your results, subject title "results". In the PM simply state who you battled, who won, who lost and your current fractional score at that time. For example:

I just got the Diamond Version yesterday, so I'm not too far yet.
Started with Piplup (who's a Prinplup now) and my current team is around levels 16-24.

BTW, my character's name is Gunther. I'll have my friend code up as soon as I can be bothered to get it.

all except for the graveler and gengar are 26 but those two are 27.

holy crap guys the water gym was a bitch i wish i caught a grass type early on and stuck with it. oh well just beat it using the same stratagy over and over again. apearantly if you keep trying to confuse them in every battle eventually it will happen so that they keep hurting themselves. so many times my gengar was killed and majically my using cconfusion work perfectly

My main team focuses on 3 members(comparitively good since I usually have the bad habit of focusing on the starter)

Wagomu the Torterra(lvl 49)
Rapidash(name pending)(lvl 42)
Boshi the Staraptor(lvl 44)

Wagomu is Japanese for rubberband as boshi is star, refference's based on my character's name, Usopp, since they are two names of his attacks in One Piece.

I just caught Dialga(I've got Diamond), who I'm not gonna focus on training, though might use in E4. Getting my 8th badge now.

Guys, if we were to have clan battle tomorrow, what would be the best time for you? The leader of GSI and I are seeing what can be done.

For me, it can be anytime after 3:30 EST.

Anytime after 3:00pm Arizona Moutain Time is cool with me.
(I say Arizona specifically because I honestly have no idea whether daylight savings time is on right now, being in one of the few places that, thankfully, doesn't do it.)

I'm fighting him now. He's so easy. Well, I guess it's because of my two electric Pokemon and my grass Pokemon. But the fighting type gym leader.... oh my god. His Lucario annihilated my entire party. I'm glad he's done with.

hes got a lucario? just doing that gym right now. tommorow pretty much anytime after 9:30ish i have to work and god only knows when ill get out of that hell hole.

Yeah, the Lucario's very annoying, since he moves so damn fast. That gym was my reason for training Starly besides the grass gym. Lucario was still faster, but I won anyways. Oh, and I beat the 8th gym easy with Torterra's earthquake.

As for a clan battle, past 4ish is good for me. Don't know when I'll get home from school, but I end up doing homework end of saturday-beggining sunday, so I'm free friday.

Also, this weekend, anyone available to trade between for certain evolutions like Kadabra-Alakhazam and Graveler-Golem? I'll need em to complete the sinnoh-dex, got 119 seen on mine. I take it you know that you have to see all the sinnoh dex pokemon to get the national dex. Oh, and BTW, what version does everyone have? You should put that in info, Gamefreak, for the sake of getting version exclusives. I've got Diamond, as I said.

^^ Yeah, and you need that nation Dex to catch Rotom. How I long for Rotom.....

Opps, I think I went to that gym too early, lol. How wonder it was such a pain. Well, it was well worth it since I got fly.

lol that gym was a joke compared to the last one. between kadabra and gengar i could have just left it to them but i basically used them all. almost 30 now X3

Guys, should I use Cranidos in my party? He's pretty far behind, and I'll have to work to lvl him up.

I'll try to get more, so I can give it to you non-Cranidos pearl owners.
