Introduction

Welcome to the second thread for the [PoW] Gang thread for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl! In this thread we will discuss matter such as trading, battling, and pretty much anything to do with Pokemon.

The first thread can be found here.

[PoW] was established over 2 years months ago on January 4th 2006. Since then, we have recruited over ten members and have started gangs in over 4 wi-fi games:

Recruits are no longer being accepting. Expect the list of accepted recruits to be found here in the near future.

TOURNEY TIME! [PoW] is holding an internal tourney between our members to decide who will represent us in the clan battle.

We will be having a mini-tourney. The rules are as follows.

1) No more than five legendaries. (Just to make sure you don't have entire team filled with legendaries. *Looks at Aphi*)
2) All Pokemon will be set to lvl 100.
3) One match only, so make it count.

Here is how the tourney will be held; It is not your usual pyramid tourney. (You can blame that on the fact that we have an uneven amount of members)

Each member will battle all the members one time. We will keep a scoring rubric. You will receive a fraction according to your wins over total games. so a 4/4 would mean you beat all the members. The two members with the highest scores will face each other, and the winner of this battle will be our [PoW] representative.

Please PM me with your results, subject title "results". In the PM simply state who you battled, who won, who lost and your current fractional score at that time. For example:

Total: 2/3 games

Guys, what do you think should be our slogan for our subject title? "Still catching 'em all" was something I just made up really quickly. Any suggestions?

How bout "I love pokemon Part Deux!". also which Rhydon ability will turn too the one that when he his a rhyperior that makes it so super effectives do normal damage.

Oh, and anyone got the JUMP: Ultimate Stars game? It's in Japanese, but it's still great and fun.

Yeah, lol. It's a shiny hacked Palkia, so I really don't need another one. The other one is legit, and I prefer to have legits. I have a whole bunch of other legit legendaries I'm willing to trade that I have obtained through hours of trading.

Not yet but questioner has been trying to talk me into getting that game for a while. once i get a credit card I'll order it. I hear its alot like ssbm.

but does anyone know how to predict which ability a rhydon will have once it evolves to rhyperior?

ya, if a rhyhorn/don has lightning rod, it keeps it as Rhyperior, Rock Head ability turns into Solid Rock on the evolution tho~

well i just looked some of the game play from jump and that looks soo good but i dont know any japaneese so it will probably be very difficult yo play.

no kidding, havent had many matches come out that close in the end~ Gotta <3 the devestating power of a base 40 move in the hands of hitmonchan

lol yeah and if i had swapped out charizard for one turn i would have won too.

i think i have to change my 2nd party before i continue with the tornament
