A good grass type.

Hmm...I've decided that I might want to restart my game soon, and I was wondering what a good grass type is for the beginning of the game, without starting off with a grass starter.

I know in the beach cave you are limited to water types and zubats. But after that, im sure there is new areas open where I might be able to find a grass type, correct? I need to know so I can start planning this new domination.

re: A good grass type.

Well, as that may be, Im not asking for the best grass type in the game. Mabey I worded my question wrong, or you read it wrong yourself.

I am asking for a good grass type to get in the beginning of the game that is not a starter pokemon.

Sceptile is awesome tbh.

You can get Tangela in "Waterfall", Tangrowth aint bad. Best early grass type I can think of.

re: A good grass type.

Shroomish = Pwnage

Shroomish has some good satus moves up it's sleeve, and it's evolved form can provide a good Fighting type edge later on.
