Rules
One sprite per round permitted You may only enter one sprite per round. Edited your post with a different entry, or deleting your post and making a new entry will get you DQ’d. This includes edited. You may not edit your sprite after you entered it.
Do not spam or flame/troll Treat people with respect. This may result in a ban from the contest.
Do NOT steal! If you are caught stealing, you may be permanently banned from this contest.
Only give C&C when asked for
.PNG format (or .GIF if animation) ONLY! JPEG=Fail. It eats your sprite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Remember: PwNaGe. Jpegs do not get auto-Fs; though they do reduce your grade for bad quality.
You may edit your post. I hate this in other contests. You make a mistake typing or something and you aren’t allowed to edit it. Here you may edit your post, but you may not change the entry. Deleting posts you are not allowed to do.
Size Limit is generally 80x80. Sprites that go over that size will still be permitted, but sprites that are super omega big, aka 100x100, probably will not be graded high.

*If you have any problems with judging, PM the judge. Do NOT post about it, for it will start a 6 page war and get the contest shut down. Permanently this time.

Regular Rounds
Regular rounds are weekly, Sunday-Saturday usually. These are the rounds that count for the scoreboard.

How Reg. Rounds are Judged
After one week (on occasions, two,) the round is judged. You get judged on a scale from A(+ or *) to F. E’s are given for the lulz, but do not count for anything except phail.
First place gets 3 points, second place gets 2 points, and third place gets 1 point.

Scoreboard
Once you place, you are on the scoreboard, which tallies your points. If you get points, you keep them forever unless you get permanently banned, which hardly ever happens. Points are kept and roll over thread to thread.
Purple indicates a judge.

New Theme: Spriting Fads
Create a sprite based off one of the Fads that has gone around neo's spriting community. Eg.Zombie, Robot, Ghost, Inferno, Sand Pokemon. Most of the tutorials can be found here.

Tournament
The Spring Tournament is finally over! It was tough, especially getting the contest shut down in the middle of it *cough* and thefts, etc. but we got through it.

Congratulations to JJoploo for winning the tournament after coming back from winning the Wild Card round. She will get her name in gold on the scoreboard, an animated icon by her name, and gets to chose one round theme. (Kinda ironic, considering she's a judge.)

Congratulations to Lizz for being the runner-up in the tournament. Lizz gets a silver name on the scoreboard, and an animated icon.

And congratulations to Blair32 for getting 3rd place in the tournament. Blair gets a bronze name on the scoreboard.

Thanks to everyone who helped and participated. Hopefully we can hold another tournament in time to come.

Haha, anyway. It's good to have the thread back, so much went on and I wasnt even able to defend my own judging. No matter, everything turned out alright in the end. I'd like to thank those of you who, didnt have to but did, defend my judging, especially Chaz, Nick and Josie.

Onto the subject of the tourney get your entry in asap so we can get onto the wildcard round. Just PM me any questions, you'll have until next Friday-Saturday to get your entries in.
