so to satrt to those who are thinking of buying the game it kicks some ass so dont worry, and also to those awho have played it...I need help in hte americas campaigne everythings blowing up in my face and the aztecs just went to war with the tlaxcalans wtf do I do! I stupidly sided with the tlaxcalans and the aztecs are swarming i've already beaten back 3 big ass atacks tnaks to supperior spaninsh troops but i'm running out... ideas?

Go for their generals. It is the best strategy in the game no matter who you are and who youre fighting. Just head staright for their commanders (on the campaign map I mean) and defeat them all if you can.

If not then just build as many troops as you can, go into debt if you have to, and swarm them back. Youll find that even factions that seem very strong are only strong on the border. Strike near their capital or the centre of their territory and they will crumble with ease.

Yup I got it, I quickly trained roughly two professionnal stacks and about 1 mercenary stack and beat about 3 full aztec stacks and 1 tlaxcalan stack, I attribute this too poor mesoamerican generalship, and 2 units of culverin
They never recovered cause for some reason after this tlaxcalans and aztecs went to war with eachother, I quickly took out their capitals, then they were piecemeal
