Werewolfs? You might be thinking of 'Deathclaws'. They are a sort of canine-human hybrid. I encountered one at the start of a new game and they are a bitch to kill..... and they are as big as super mutants

EDIT: oh and they don't just appear at night, I fought one in broad daylight, the deathclaw sanctuary it SE of Ravens Rock (NW corner of map) and if you do go 2 deathclaw sanctuary, make sure you have the alien blaster... as I said: they are a bitch to kill

Yeah I knew about em before I posted it, its just some weird encounters in the middle of nowhere in the middle of night, as in, you hear a howl then see something dart across a field in front of you.

Nah it's a unique weapon called the Board of Education.

Awesome, it got stickied!

Also guys, anyone who got the CE can check in their Art Book and back me up. There are werewolf looking creatures in there, with separate sketches to the Deathclaw and Yoa Gai. It's called a Waste Wolf Hound

Yes, I scanned it.

T-51b power armor. Located deep within Fort Constantine in the north west.
You need to have completed the quest "You gotta shoot em in the head", which begins with Crowley the ghoul in the Underworld complex in the museum of history.
It's also worth having a very high lockpick skill when you visit here because of the vast amount of ammo and weapons in locked chambers.

A3-21's Plasma Rifle. Visit Rivet City and speak to Zimmer in the lab. Complete the quest "The replicated man" and side with the android. The weapon is his reward.

"The kneecapper" Sawed-off shotgun. Visit Girdershade in the south west. There are two shacks. In one of them lives Ronald. You have to smoke him unfortunately, but it's a nice little gun.

The Victory Rifle. The best sniper rifle in the game is found in an abandoned shack atop a mountain near rockbreaker's last gas (west area of the map). The bad news is you need lockpick 100 to open the cabinet.

Added new info.

the board of education isn't just found in the shacks, I've found it in vault 87 and a random world encounter.

re: FALLOUT 3: Neoseeker Guide *Spoilers!*

Raven Rock is an easter egg. The name is from Morrowind, the Bloodmoon expansion to be exact and features as the name of a colony being built upon an island north west of main island in the game.

Ironic that Raven Rock is also situated in the north west

Also Blaziken, that's not got werewolf like features. That just looks like mutated rabid wolf. A werewolf is a hybrid of man and wolf that appears upon the nights of a full moon, usually found to be standing on two legs. Unless the one you have pictured switches between two and four legs then it doesn't resemble a werewolf at all.

Yao-gui is more or less the culprit as one attacked me the other day and I thought it was a werewolf. It was only until I looked closer after killing it that I saw it wasn't.

Hold the phone, another easter egg. I just noticed that Yao-gui is a deformed version of Yogi, a cartoon bear XD

re: FALLOUT 3: Neoseeker Guide *Spoilers!*

It's huge and a wolf, which is what I was referring to. Yes I know what a werewolf is.

How do you explain the howls then? Bears don't howl. To make my point less valid, there's something written in the art book along the lines of, 'See which monsters made it into the game.' Now, so far every monster has been in it, but there are a few who haven't yet, I'm not sure as I haven't finished the game/explored everywhere.

This is quickly turning into another 'bigfoot' like in SA.

-------------------

Oh come one! I can't get the T-51b power armour... I killed Crowley halfway through the quest. I told him I wanted the keys back and he tried to kill me, so I spattered his brains...

I'll go for the Victory Rifle tonight as todays my last day of exams.

Didn't see this one on here yet, but there's a pair of sunglasses called "Lucky sunglasses" on a mannequin in a place called lucky's (not on the map). They add +1 luck. The location is at the southern edge of the map close to Jacko's last stop Gas, near ten penny I believe.

Ran into my first Yao Guai today, it scared the hell out of me, I was wondering in the wasteland and i turned around and all I heard was a snarl and then I was dead, I jumped so high, I almost fell off my seat.

I didn't get much info out of either of them. Basically being an evil character, I persuaded the guy who I was talking too, to run into the alley in order to talk to the guy...he set off the bombs and I simply laughed.

I will check tomorrow on my other character the other options given. Other than that I just think he is a guy gone insane and trying to defend himself from the super mutants that appear in the distance

Thats about all I got out of him as well, more info would be sweet.

re: FALLOUT 3: Neoseeker Guide *Spoilers!*

well, i did a little more searching and I found a direct link to a fallout 3 map of the wasteland, I am aware that some else had posted this on another thread. But I think this thread will benefit more from it (link)

I also found some other unique weapons:

- 'The Tenderizer Sledgehammer' {Found in supply closet under Anchorage War Memorial. Presumably used to "tenderize" Mirelurks}

- 'The Burnmaster' {Upgraded flamer, Inside the Franklin Station, Franklin Metro Utility area.)

- 'Experimental MIRV' {like the 'Fat Man', uses mini nukes and deals tons of damage. found in the Armory at National Guard Depot, behind a door that requires a passcode. Requires finding all 5 keller diaries.}

- 'Miss Launcher' {altered missle launcher, deals more damage yet bounces instead of detonating on contact. Found inside TheOutcasts headquarters. Need 25 lockpick to get the storage room key.}

Haven't gotten these yet as I have alot of studying to do. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Hope this helps

huge credit to http://fallout.wikia.com/
source

P.S. I also found rumors of the 'Firelance' (see source above). I assume its an alien rifle because it uses alien power cells. but the description doesn't go into too much detail. Can anyone shed some light on this? Such as where to get it? coz I've hit a dead end with this.
