Why don't you just loot the keys off his corpse? You can still go and retrieve the other ones off the targets. You won't get paid for capping them but you can still get the armor!

I took the keys, But I'm not sure who else I need to kill. I took out the first guy, then the guy that's in Rivet City, I told him I was there to kill him, so he gave me his key. Then I killed Crowley.

I thought Tenpenny was on that list, I killed him, but no key. So I thought I couldn't get the keys anymore.

I also found some other unique weapons:

- 'The Tenderizer Sledgehammer' {Found in supply closet under Anchorage War Memorial. Presumably used to "tenderize" Mirelurks}

- 'The Burnmaster' {Upgraded flamer, Inside the Franklin Station, Franklin Metro Utility area.)

- 'Experimental MIRV' {like the 'Fat Man', uses mini nukes and deals tons of damage. found in the Armory at National Guard Depot, behind a door that requires a passcode. Requires finding all 5 keller diaries.}

- 'Miss Launcher' {altered missle launcher, deals more damage yet bounces instead of detonating on contact. Found inside TheOutcasts headquarters. Need 25 lockpick to get the storage room key.}


Haven't gotten these yet as I have alot of studying to do. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Hope this helps

P.S. I also found rumors of the 'Firelance' (see source above). I assume its an alien rifle because it uses alien power cells. but the description doesn't go into too much detail. Can anyone shed some light on this? Such as where to get it? coz I've hit a dead end with this.

I'm just curious is there a way to become a ghoul? I read is impossible but i'm damn sure i saw on some loading screen reference at "ghoul characters can .."

Tenpenny is on the list, though his key is on the stand next to the security guard sitting outside his room, along with a 10mm pistol.

I had killed Tenpenny long before doing this quest as well as some of the others on the list (only one I hadn't killed was Ted, the guy in rivet city) I had their keys anyway but I didn't get the full caps due to not killing them in one shot.

As to becoming a ghoul...no you can't, however as a reward to helping Roy Phillip and the other ghouls getting into Tenpenny Tower, you get a ghoul mask, which at a distance, who feral ghouls will mistake you for one of their own, however get too close to one and they will see through it and attack you.

Also still working on the guy who blows up in the alley, can't find my save >_<

yeah took me awhile to remember the route I took to get there in the first place. The Anacostia Crossing Station will get you there outside of Rivet City.

However there is nothing special you can do except make the guy run into the alley.

The other thing you can do is to snipe the guy then go into the alley and disarm the mines. This will net you 2 mini-nukes (or at least that's what I found lying around and does explain the big ass explosion)

The other guy just cowers in fear still and says "it's all quiet, it's all gone quiet"

Turns out I had all the keys anyway... I went and got the T-51b Power Armour by accident while searching the surrounding buildings around the Brotherhood Outcast Shack.

ok im pretty new to neoseeker but bear with me

i dont know if it is different on ps3 but on the PC talon company mercs are not restricted to fonding you only after you exit from underground because they are also able to spawn at locations that contain a mini encounter such as the front of the super duper mart and the ruined barn just up from vault 101 that contains a mini nuke

also forgive me if this has been answered already but firlance is a unique weapon that is dropped during a mini encounter and it is an alien blaster (pistol) that sets enamies alight-(from the prima oficial guide)

also anyone here been to the nuka cola plant were you encounter a hell of a lot of roaches and come dodgy mirelurks called nuka-lurks and they are a bitch to kill and i thaught that mirelurks could soak up a bit of lead,
and in the cola factory i found a dead guy with a few assalt rifles and theres something on his body about nuka-cola clear - a new recipie and his contacts want it, and no matter were i go i cant find the recipie just some sales pitch about quantum but thats not it.

also wants everyones opinion on the best house and theme i mean ive got tenpenny twr with the scince theme (and vault theme in the past) but was realy considereing the pre war theme but i couldent stand the doghouse and stuffed dog but mostly the stuffed dog because id keep dogmeat inside sometimes

Yes, I fixed me previous mistake on the Talon Company info. At that stage, they had only attacked me when I exited the sub-way.

I don't have a theme, and can't get them any more. I went on a rampage in Tenpenny Tower and killed everyone, after I got the Infirmary, Work Bench and Science set that is.

Finally, has an old follower ever come back to life?

I'm sure I got Charon's Death Notice. But when I got the slave chick in Paradise Falls, I got notice that Charon was back at the Bar in Underworld? I'll have to check it out, as I was in the middle of a quest.

You'll get the Ghoul Mask if you work out things so that the ghouls get into Tenpenny Tower. It prevents the feral ghouls from attacking you, unless you attack them first. The mask is considered as an eyewear, so you can wear hats with it.

- Sidenote, put on a pre-war hat, or the shady hat, and equip the Deathclaw gountlet while wearing the ghoul mask for some Freddy Kruger - style carnage.

Fixed some faulty info and added 2 new weps, find em and enjoy


Also, I was thinking of using that map blake contributed to add neoseeker's own map markers then label each item in the forum with a number and stick number on map, would anyone be interested in it if I did, or would everyone just read like a normal person would and figure it out?

The nuka cola clear formula is in the locked safe in the plant entrance to the left. You need a key that you will find further in the plant on a mister handy robot, I believe its called the "plant foreman" or something like that. You're supposed to deliver it to a tricycle factory but I haven't been able to find that yet...

Deathclaw Tip: Shoot the Deathclaw chasing you with the Dart Gun. You'll cripple his legs so he can't run, only walk. You can then leisurely walk backwards and unload clip after clip into his face.
