I remember Tod Howard saying in an interview that any Fallout 3 DLC would be for Xbox Live Marketplace and PC only. Has that been confirmed? And if so, what the hell is his problem? Why the massive hate-on for Sony?

That's crap... they did the same thing with Oblivion too. I just don't see why. Why favour one over the other? Why give the finger to half your market share? It just doesn't make sense to me at all.

Microsoft pay off developers to make sure they don't give the PS3 the DLC, simple as that. It's the only thing that's keeping the 360 alive in my opinion, even people I know who own 360's agree with me. Now let me get this straight. I have no problems with the console itself, I just can't stand Microsoft.

This is the main reason I got the 360 version, TBH. Just in case the DLC interested me.
That, and the fact that trophies were forthcoming, and that the 360 version is supposed to be slightly better (slightly less pop in, less blurriness, etc) than the PS3 version.... Sony needs to step up and combat the 360 exclusive stuff. They HAVE the money after all, they do more than just make game consoles -_- ------------------- | |

I don't think it'll stay exclusive for ever. It'll be timed me thinks. It doesn't matter too much anyway. DLC will be quite a way off.

agree with you all,
its so unfiar we dont get any DLC and 360 owners do, i do think sony need to fight agaisnt this and try and get DLC for us loyal PS3 owners. and DLC for 360 only is really the only thing keeping xbox alive. | |

Acheivements are what has made the 360 more popular, especially for those people who own both consoles. Everyone I know in that position tends to get the 360 version when possible, simply for the acheivements. PS3 trophies came as too little too late - everyone has had years of acumulated progress on their Xbox's, so that's where they stay.
The DLC issue really is just unfair though. There is no legitimate reason to play favourites with one console over another. Third party should mean third party, and not Tod Howard being a little bitch. Incidentally, has anyone ever actually seen an interview with this guy and heard him talk about anything? He is such a little bitch... I feel like my little sister could kick his ass. ------------------- | |

Microsoft need to realise that just because they have DLC they wont sell out fast, it will just make the many Loyal PS3 fans More angry at them, as far as the battle goes, someone above says that 360 outsells PS3 2 to 1, now lets think about that shall we, say playstation has upto now sold 3 consoles, that means 360 has sold 6......however, 360 has been out 2 year, the PS3, only 1 year, so above figures 360 have sold 6 consoles in 2 year, PS3 have sold 3 consoles in 1 year, so doesnt that make us Break even
then there experience, Sony have over a decade of Game Console Experience, microsoft have only a few year now we start with the advantages and disadvantages, the PS3 has more advantages and the 360 has More Disadvantages overall i reckon that if microsft stopped selling 360's for 1 year, playstation would catch up easily, even the Replacment service is better for PS3 -------------------  | |
