you know those Virtibird things are just not natural, i think it will take a while for me to get used to not having to slug it out when i wanna get somewhere, anyway we saw some sort of explosion over old olney, i dont know what that could have been but it cant be good, when we got to Oasis we met up with the rememnants and some of the team were happy to see one of them in particular.
well there seems to be some kind of signal being broadcast over the area and theres only two places in the Wastes that have the kind of broadcasting power, well three if you count GNR but thats well defended, agatha's got a sweet little setup but my money is on Vault 92 they have more advanced equipment and i think the VO will be attracted to Vaults, just by principle

well Vincent thaught that it would be a good idea to split up into teams, well i reckon that this Vincent guy is allright and when i heard that he was gonna join Tango i decided that il be joining Tango too, i hardly know anyone here but i would still like to surround myself with people that i can trust and depend on when the S**t hits the fan, im running out of pages in this book, i think im gonna have to find something else soon

Subject: Good Start, Team Recruiting, Old Faces

'Oh, I've missed Vertibirds. Nothin' better than the wind whipping through your hair while you try not to vomit up your lunch. We landed not too long ago. Turns out our reinforcements were led by Kybur. Damn, haven't seen him in years. He's aged well, I'll give em that. Looks like the VO nuked Old Olney. Yay for not becoming mutated and/or chunks of mutation!

Poor Oasis, man. The last bit of Pre-War natural beauty in this world and it all gets shot to shit. I would have loved to see it, but that freaking noise generator. It has to have come from Vault 92. As far as I know, Agatha's Station went down a while back. I don't know if the VO brought it back up or not, but I don't want to go back. I have nothing against Agatha, but she's been dead for five years. I loved that woman, like a sister. I can't bear to see her old place.

From what I've read at Vault-Tec HQ, V92 was used to test blank noise manipulation. Y'know, mind control. I wouldn't doubt that the VO used that to create some sort of weapon. Seems their style.

Like our last excursion, we must split into teams. I personally prefer Tango, but everyone seems to be heading for them. I'd choose that, but if our CO wants me too, I'll go with Oscar.

Audio Journal #02

Dang, I'm sure glad we didn't go to Old Olney. Glad the place was leveled, though. Those Deathclaws couldn't have been good for travelers.

Turns out Oasis has been trashed. Sad to see it get like that. I went there once. Clean air burned what was left of my skin, but it was nice to look at anyways...

I'm going to have to go with Vault 92. I once looked over some of the old Vault technical manuals. One of them was on that particular vault, and it apparently had some sort of special audio noise crap. I don't know if that's what could be causing all the mayhem in Oasis, but I'm willing to bet it is.

I think I'll be teaming up with Oscar for this one.

Yea, another right location. Were having a good start.

Sorry I've been gone, but at least I'll have internet this weekend. Looks like we're off to a great start.

Vault 92 was a deathtrap, I hated that place, could barely get off a shot. I pick the diner.

Journal Entry #2

Well Shit Old Olney gone, not much of a loss if you ask me, it was just a Deathclaw Breeding ground. What does piss me off is the fact that now we have to deal with more radiation H.A.V.E.N. is trying to preserve life and every nuke that goes off sets us back farther and father away from our goal, if I had it my way I would have disposed of every nuke after the Great War. But in any case The less Deathclaws the better. I bet you the Vault Legend 92 thought she was slick setting off a nuke over her head, she must have thought the radiation would scare us away but she underestimated the determination of Sanctum.

Inside Vault 92 was a whole different story the mirelurks had been cleared out and replaced with some high society types. High society, low society it doesn’t matter to me just so long as they know how to bleed. The little princess must have had a sheltered life but then after the Great War all of that was taken away. So what happens to rich and power people when they loss al there money they try to get more power. So little miss sun shine probably wasn’t getting any more power so she used her music to steel the power of people’s minds. I do have to thank her for one thing though I had almost forgotten what is was like to kill someone, the rush of adrenalin you get is like a warm blanket or a shot of some good whiskey.

On the way out of the vault I shot the control panel trapping the VL92 and her cronies inside. The remnants say they found a tape with two locations the Grisly Diner or the Greener Pastures Disposal Site, Well I say we head to the Disposal site. The diner is too small and open for a meeting with the VL122. The VL122 knows that we know who he is im sure hell want to be hidden at all times…

25th Jul 2296, Capital Wasteland - Vault 92 Entrance

well the s**t really hit the fan back there, walked straight into an ambush inside of that Vault. i hate close quarters, i cant get enough shots of with the Galil and i wasn't able to draw my sword, anyway i was able to grab a recorder on my way out and i think I've got a few tapes in my gear, I'll have to see if i can get them running.
