It has been 5 years since the events of your previous mission. The Vault Organization, the vile army of vault dwellers that have sworn to purge the Wasteland and begin anew, was able to escape the attack on Vault 122, but casualties have been made to their vile legion. Their numbers have dwindled, and their leaders have gone into hiding. With little to protect themselves in human numbers, the Vault Organization has introduced robotic soldiers to its ranks. But that is not all...
The Cleansing, which is the Vault Organization's plan to clean the Wasteland of its inhabitants, began months after the attack. Vault Soldiers have begun attacking settlements and claiming them as their own, killing any and all in their way. It is for this reason that H.A.V.E.N., the Help Against Vault-Tec Enforcing Natives, was formed in 2278 in order to defend the Wasteland's people from the Vault Organization's vile wrath.
H.A.V.E.N.'s top soldiers were formed into a group known as Sanctum, which consists of the greatest soldiers the Wasteland has to offer. Their purpose is to uphold peace in the Wasteland, and to eliminate all forces of the Vault Organization that they come across. In these darkest of days, Sanctum has a new mission. They must find and eliminate the Vault Legends, along with their vile leader, Overseer 122, the vile leader of the Vault Organization.
You, as the soldiers of Sanctum, must uphold this mission. For the greater good of the Wasteland, you must not stop until the Vault Organization is finished for good. But there are traitors amongst you, and casualties will be made by the works of these traitors. It is your purpose, as soldiers of H.A.V.E.N., to withstand against the brutal trials of the traitors and the Vault Organization.
You all uphold the peace of the Wasteland. It is your sole duty to save its inhabitants, and rid the Capital Wasteland of the Vault Organization once and for all!
Changes…
Unlike Dead End 2, the events from the last game will carry on here. Megaton is destroyed, Canterburry is a VO Outpost, and so on. Everyone is to create a character for use in the stories, and you must also explain how your character was found by H.A.V.E.N. to be a part of Sanctum. Players from last game who are using their old characters will not have to do this. You don’t have to come up with a name for your character, as your user names will do just fine.
Also, the last game allowed the use of unique weapons and armor, but this game does not. You may freely come up with your own apparel, but your weapon cannot be a unique version and must be related to Fallout 3. You are only allowed two weapons. A close-quarters weapon, and a ranged weapon. The Fat Man and the Tesla Cannon are not allowed for use, either.
You are, in fact, allowed to create your own weapons. But you MUST ask me through PM first so I can confirm whether or not it is acceptable. You go on about making your own personal WMD, and you'll be disqualified in no time.
If anyone wishes to contribute anything to the stories for their characters, don’t hesitate to ask me through Private Messaging.

Bio: Nathanial was born to a young couple in Northern New Canada. They cared for him for a few weeks before leaving him with the Brotherhood of Steel. They trained him for 25 years to be a ruthless soldier but all hope was lost to quell his personality. Nathaniel focused mostly on assault rifles and scoped weapons, eventually creating a customized Chinese Rifle fitted with a long-range scope. His energy and talkative nature annoyed the more disciplined soldiers and they frequently made him take missions that made him leave the Citadel. At age 28, he went on a scouting mission with three other Brothers of Steel and they found a camp of wayward ghouls. Nathaniel thought nothing of them but the other members began stealing their supplies. Rather than sit by, Nathaniel shot his comrades in cold blood. The leader of that branch of the BoS striped him of his rank and gear and sent him to wander the wastes. In the dead of night, Nathaniel snuck back in and reclaimed his rifle and an experimental type of recon armor. It grants him quicker reflexes and more speed. For 20 years, he traveled down the eastern coast of North America before settling in Underworld. As long as he kept them safe and made sure the traders were protected, he could live there. He's always had a home there but nowadays, he mostly follows the caravans. He joined the Sanctum at 38. After the VO incident, it was revealed that he was a traitor. After 15 years of living with Raiders, Alex had never found anything wrong with them. After all, they were family. His view changed when he watched helplessly as they slew a baby’s parents, and took the child with them. “Just like you, eh?” said one of the Raiders as he walked by. That was when he knew something was wrong. He ran away, and lived on his own for 3 years. He found a cave in the northern areas of the Capital Wasteland, where he became a great shot because of the dangerous wildlife. Throughout this time, he acquired his Gauss Rifle and Chinese Stealth Suit by ambushing patrols, and made his sword, which he calls "Phoenix". He accepted again, and eagerly awaits his trials.
~Shave ya Head~
Name: Shave ya Head Gender: N/A Race: Robot (Upgraded) Age: 206 years old Height: 5'5 Weight: 64kg Armor: You wouldn't believe Weapons: Laser Rifle (Standered built into arm), Grenade Launcher(Unattached) Bacground: A failed US Government Experiment. Before the great war the US Govenment took a fallen soldier and inplnted metal chips into his brain, to make him obey every order given. 100's of bits of metal were inplanted in to every part of his skin and joined together with a mixture of aliminium and steel, to give the bits of metal room to bend. the end result being a soldier with a brain of a medium super computer and the ability to obey every single command given to him, he also has the ability to run abnormally fast, possibly due to the hydraulics built into his legs. he has a fully automatic Laser weapon built into his arm as well as a seperate grenade launcher. The metal built into his skin gives him only slightly better protection. Although he is a robot he still only has the strength of an Expert Weight lifter His downside is his vision, he cant see very well, the reason is unknown but theres a single person in the Wasteland who can repair his vision. Apparently he is one of the funniest people in the Wasteland, partly because he can do the robot dance perfectly, people find him hilarious. Maybe his most amazing feature is he is able to hack into any terminal just by touching it and 'Telling' it what to do
Several people have bounties on his head such as Flak and Shrapnel, Mayor Mcready and Officer Tenpenny, who now owns tenpenny tower. He plans to pay off these people before he joins the group to avoid any aggrevation to them.
Although he is part robot and part human, looking and being around him you would think he is all human.
After the events of the last mission, the Enclave dug up his body and rebuilt him a new one, transferring his brain to the new body. He escaped afterwards, retrieving his Grenade Launcher from the armory and heading into the Wastes top join back up with Sanctum.
His contract is currently held by Kybur
~Moustache~
Name: Moustache Age: 28 Race: Caucasian Build: Average Height: 6,6 Weight: 180 lbs Eyes: Green Hair: Short Black, Thin Moustache Facail Features: Scar running from his head(just above right ear) down to the corner of his mouth.
Matured Skills: Energy Weapons, Science, Lockpick
Weapon(Ranged): Black Laser Rifle with BlR written on either side of it (Moustache nicknamed it BlR for short)
Weapon(Melee): Combat Knife
Armour: Black Combat Armour (similar to Talon Company Armour minus the insignia), Black Combat Helmet, Black Shades
Bakground: Moustache's early life was spent in Rivet City. He always longed for action and adventure both of which was hard to find in Rivet City accept during the occasional attack by Mirelurks. Moustache was always able to hack into the most advanced computer and pick even the most complex lock. When he was 20 he was caught by Rivet City security taking weapons from the armoury. He even deactivate Private Jones and the turrets inside. This act angered the Rivet City Council so much that Moustache was exiled from the city and not allowed to return. For the next few weeks Moustache wondered the Wastes with nothing but his clothes. He eventually came across an abandoned house near Fort Bannister to which he would stay for a while to rest. Unfortunately for him Talon Company Mercs had been scouting the area and seen him enter the house and started and attack. Moustache dipped in and out of cover avoiding their bullets and lasers. Eventually one Mer accidentally shot the other in the back killing him and sending his gun towards Moustahce. It was a Black Laser Rifle, he quickly picked it up and disposed of two of the Mercs and disarmed the last one. Moustache slowly made his way across to him when the suddenly the Merc sprang at him and disarmed him. He pointed the gun at Moustache and gave him an ultimatum join Talon Company or be killed right there and then. This is what Moustache had wanted all his life the chance for action and adventure so he eagerly accepted the first proposal. He was then escorted to Fort Bannister by the Merc and given his kit. He was given a standard issue Combat Knife, Black Combat Armour(he was told he would have to earn the right to wear the insignia on it) and a Black Combat Helmet. Not too long after he was tasked with joining a small group of Mercs on a contract to clear out a settlement of "undesirables", so off he went to join the group. The journey was rather long taking up the best part of a day to reach the settlement. When they arrived Moustache was shocked to see children running around while there parents watched on. To Moustache's horror the other Mercs opened fire on the settlers killing them all. They put up little resistance the whole thing lasted about ten minutes and there were no survivors. The Mercs decided it was best to stay at the settlement for the night as the journey back to base was dangerous at night. Moustache sat there hating himself felling he should had intervened and the stopped the mercs slaughtering everyone. While he was looking around he caught sight of a Merc raiding a body and removing Black Shades from it and stating how much better they looked on him. This sent Moustache into a rage he fired laser rifle aiming at the Mercs chest killing him instantly he continued firing at all the Mercs until none were still breathing. He then approached the first Merc he killed and picked up the Black Shades and put them on so it would remind him in the future of what had occurred at the settlement that day. He then spent the next five years fine tuning his gun nicknaming it BLR for short even staining it onto it, all while he travelled the Capital Wasteland protecting all the innocents from its many horrors even after he had been scarred by a Deathclaw. When he was 25 he was approached by a man on the 5 year anniversary of the massacre at the settlement and was asked to join an organization called H.A.V.E.N who's goal was very similar to his, to help clear the Wastes of all evil, so he accepted immediately. For the next three years he would train under them improving his effectiveness with his gun and even helping out on the occasional mission. Eventually when he was 28 he was again approached by a man this time it was a senior member of H.A.V.E.N asking him to join Sanctum its elite group of soldiers on its already active mission to rid the Capital Wasteland of the Vault Organization. Moustache accepted the invite seeing this as a chance to rid the Wastes of possibly it's biggest threat and hopefully right his past wrongs.

Rules...
1 - There will be 10 - 15 soldiers. Out of those soldiers, there will be 2 - 4 traitors.
2 - When creating your character, make sure your equipment meets restrictions. I won't have a bunch of newbies running around with MIRVs in this game.
3 - The game will start with a story or some clues. After that, there will be two locations that you will have to choose from.
4 - I will PM the traitors to tell them the one location that is the Dead End.
5 - After the story, everyone will have to choose what location to go that will not lead them to the Dead End. You must also post your reason for going to the spot you are choosing, trying to convince others of your choice.
6 - The traitors won't know who each other are, but they need to try to influence the group to go to the location that is the Dead End.
7 - Don't worry, because in this game, no one dies, so everyone gets to keep on playing to the end. That way, we will always get some more opinions and more debating.
8 - If the players choose fifteen dead ends, then the traitors win. But if the soldiers go to fifteen correct locations, then they win.
9 - If the soldiers go to two Dead Ends in a row they, they get to vote for who they suspect the traitors are. If the majority of the group finds all the traitors, then the soldiers win automatically.
10 - If the group goes to a Dead End, the story will continue from the correct location.
11 - All the game rules will be determined at the start of the game. How many soldiers and traitors there are, and how many points each team will need to win. The more people we get for this game, the higher the numbers will be.
Voting...
Voting will take place right after every story. Everyone will have 24-48 hours to post their reason for choosing a location, along with their vote. If you miss a vote, you're not out of the game, but the lack of your insight might have cost you all a point.
When voting for suspected traitors, everyone will vote for who they believe is a traitor. If they are a traitor, they will become a survivor and I will cease telling them the Dead End. If they aren't, I will randomly pick someone else to become a new traitor.
Hints...
1 - Factions and teaming up are allowed, but be careful who you let in your group. And you're allowed to point fingers at who you think the traitors are.
2 - The traitors may have to vote for the correct location to hide there true identity.
3 - But some soldiers might vote for the wrong spot, so that's why you should seek out the true survivors as well as the traitors.
So, if you think you're brave enough to uphold Sanctum's cause, then don't hesitate to join the brutal trials of the Vault Organization in...

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Now adressing new players. All are welcome to join.
Alright, then. Remember the rules when choosing your equipment.
By the way, I won't be able to do any character drawings for anyone once this game kicks off. I've been flooded with work in reality. Neoseeker isn't the only thing that has me drawing pictures.
Finally, what do you all think of the image I put up for the story's summary?

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
I'd normally tell you that you could only keep one deathclaw gauntlet, but since it's because of you that I had the opporitnunity to host this game, plus out of respect for you after the other Dead Ends, I'll allow it.
I'll add to the first story what you asked me to.
AJAX EDIT: Tsk tsk. First sign of power going to your head Kybur, special treatment.
Edit: What the hell do you mean by "power"? This is GuFF's first time actually playing the game instead of hosting it. I'm letting him use whatever equipment he wants as a form of gratitude for letting me host the third round.

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
I actually have another character I've always wanted to use named M.A.C.S. (pronounced Max).
Military AI Carnage Simulator
Anyone wants to know more about him, feel free to PM and ask.
EDIT: Actually, I'll just leave the story right here.
Basically, he was a military combat training simulator.
In 1997, the American Military created a VI that ran a massive training ground for future wars. The VI was given control over the entire facility, including all of the weapons in the firing test compounds. They dubbed it M.A.C.S., the Military Adressed Combat Simulator.
In 1999, they attempted to "upgrade" MACS, and replaced the main VI core with the mind of a volunteer from an American prison, thus upgrading it into a ZAX AI. They took every precaution and connected his mind to the core, and the operation turned out a success. After the Great War, however, MACS became obsolete since all the soldiers were either mutated or dead. He eventually began to grow self-awareness, and by 2005, remembered himself entirely, except for his original name. He reorganized his codename into "Military AI Carnage Simulator", since his crimes counted of mass murder and manslaughter.
Over the years, the facility was raided by countless thugs and wastelanders, but MACS took great pleasure in torturing them and eventually killing them when he grew bored of them. MACS layed dorment in the facility until 2284, where he finally crafted an android body from spare weapon parts and downloaded a copy of his memory into it. He also had several weapons grafted into his arms. He referred to himself is "Max" ever since his life in the Wasteland began.
You can imagine what happens after that.

Nice profile, Derek Vader. And nice mods for your character, as well.
All I need is Ajax's and XtremeBladesta's profiles, plus two more players, and we can officially begin the game. If anyone knows someone who would like to join, please PM them and aks them if they'd like to take part in this round.
I want this game to start soon. I've got a very nice starting choice for all of you to make for the first story...

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, boys, here we are. The first story.
Spoiler: Prologue
It was a blistering hot day, as usual, in the Capital Wasteland. The beating waves of the sun loomed over a mass of buildings in the middle of nowhere. The Safe Grounds, the main HQ of the Help Against Vault-Tec Enforcing Natives, or H.A.V.E.N. for short, was bustling with soldier activity. Men and women, humans and mutants, ravaged the field of the center of the facility. Many of them remained topside, on duty, while the rest were underground in the enormous complex that housed lounges and bars for the soldiers’ daily activities.
In the bar, soldiers were treating themselves to mass gallons of alcohol, whiskey, and every other type of drink you can think of. One soldier in particular, an unshaven man in a blue-grey longcoat and plenty of other mismatched clothing, was set upon a barstool, sipping a pint of beer. He finished drinking the remainder of what was in the glass, then set it upon the counter and looked up at the lights on the ceiling. He looked back at the bartender and waved his hand. “Barkeep,” he said, catching the bartender’s attention. He spoke up, “Another beer, please.” After he received his drink, a H.A.V.E.N. general walked into the bar. He walked over to the man. “Casey,” he said. The man, named Casey “Trader” Romain, looked up. “you’re wanted at the debriefing station. Grab you’re equipment and meet the others there.” Casey looked down, then back up at the general. “Just let me finish my drink first, alright?”
In another area of the complex, the “Hanson Armory”, a rugged soldier sat down at the back table, with several flamers and assault rifles set upon it. His unique flamer, which he called “Hellburst”, sat beside his arm. He tweaked away at the weapons on the table, disassembling them and repairing them all from the spare parts of the boxes beside him on the floor. It was his own personal job to keep all newly acquired weapons in perfect shape in order to be stocked for purchase, and he enjoyed it very much. He took the cigarette from his mouth and held an assault rifle up in front of his face, examining the ammunition cartridge for any damage. He lowered it, and instantly noticed a H.A.V.E.N. general walking over to him. The general looked down at him and spoke clearly, “Sanctum’s needed at the debriefing station. Pack everything up and move out, Nathaniel.” The general immediately left. Nathaniel put his cigarette in his mouth, took a breath, and then exhaled a puff of smoke. He looked down and shook his head, then sighed, saying, “Shit…”
Downstairs at the Firing Range, soldiers were practicing their shots with firearms of all types. Three soldiers in particular remained there. One clad in regular clothing and a black leather jacket, with a shark printed on the back, was practicing with a 10mm pistol. Another soldier in the next station down, an African-American wearing a modified suit and sporting an eye patch, was practicing with his custom .44 Magnum. Behind them, a soldier wearing a merc grunt outfit with several tears running through it was sitting down with a minigun and a super-sledge on both his sides, set upon the chairs beside him. He looked around frantically until he, along with the other two soldiers, noticed a general walk inside through the side door. He announced to all of them, “Stilson, Derek, and Sutton. You’re all needed at the debriefing station. Pack your equipment and meet us there.” They all nodded as the general walked out the door. Suttonboy turned to his weapons. “Splat, Hilda… I think we’re going on a mission… a big one…”
Topside, two soldiers and their commander were stationed on the roof of a building. One soldier and the commander were both carrying sniper rifles, while the last one was carrying a Scoped Gauss Rifle. They were all practicing their headshots by firing off rounds at bloatflies, deathclaws, and the occasional raider. The commander was tallying up scores as they all shot rounds. A general walked up behind them and said, “Mason, MastaC…” At that moment, they all turned around and aimed their snipers at the general, then immediately lowered them when they noticed who it was. The general backed up a bit, then continued, “You’re both needed at the debriefing station. Pack all your equipment and head over there.” They both nodded and left the roof. The general turned towards the commander. “Abernathy, come with me. You’re needed elsewhere.”
Over at the clinic, two soldiers were in the waiting room. A ghoul wearing a trench coat and fedora was stocking up on medical supplies at the counter, while a muscled soldier wielding a combat shotgun modified into a grenade launcher and wearing a merc troublemaker outfit with black clothing, was sitting over at the lounge. A general walked inside, and looked at the two soldiers. He announced, “AzureLao, Shave, you’re both needed at the debriefing station. Get everything packed up and move out.” The general walked out the door, and AzureLao walked out after him. Shave picked up his grenade launcher and stood up from the chair, walking over to the counter and picking up a bottle of purified water. He took a quick drink as he walked out the door.
An hour later, all 9 members of Sanctum were gathered inside the debriefing station. They were all seated at different chairs, waiting for their general to arrive. Methian looked over at a nearby table, seeing a pack of cigarettes lying on the side. He snatched them and stowed them away in his pocket before anyone could notice. Moments later, the General walked inside. Behind him was an old man that a few members of Sanctum remembered. It was RIP, the old-as-hell stealth soldier of H.A.V.E.N.. And, behind him, was none other than Vincent. Methian looked up at him and announced, “Hey, General.” Vincent looked over at him, “I’m afraid I’m not your General, anymore.” Everyone besides the General and RIP looked at him and surprise and said, “Huh?”
The General looked at the group. “That’s right. Vincent, here, decided his place in life wasn’t behind some desk filing papers and giving orders. He “purposely” busted himself down a few ranks until he returned to the same rank of all of you.” Methian looked at him, “So that means…” Vincent finished for him, “Yes, that’s right. I’m a part of Sanctum, now.” The group stood up and congratulated him. They all sat back down, and Vincent took a seat beside Methian.
The General stepped over to a table with a map of the Capital Wasteland on it. He spoke loudly, “Alright, soldiers. It’s been five years since the events that occurred with the Vault Organization. They’ve suffered many casualties, but they haven’t been dealt with completely. And now, they’ve decided to step their plans forward. They’ve proceeded with the Cleansing.”
The group continued to listen to him. “We’re sending you out on a mission. The Vault Organization has begun attacking and raiding settlements, claiming them as their own. It’s your job to find these settlements, kill any and all vault soldiers, and acquire any information you find on the VO. We’ve contacted the Remnants, and they told us they’ll have some reinforcements ready for you at the location you head to first.” Derek Vader sighed and said quietly, “Ah, shit, not this again…” Methian looked at the General, “Sir, what about Kybur? Where’s he?” The General looked at Methian. “Kybur… Kybur decided to leave H.A.V.E.N. after the… final events…” The group looked down in memory and grief of their old comrade. “He’s still alive, but he’s joined back up with the Remnants. From what we know, he’ll be waiting for you along with the reinforcements.” Casey spoke up, “What about Pasha?” The General replied, “We don’t know where he left for. Probably out wandering the Wastes, again. Maybe he’s still on that trade route business, I don’t know.”
The General continued on with his original speech, “Alright, enough about past times. We’ve determined a few locations you can start with. We’ve decided to let you choose your first plan of action.” The group looked over at the map as the General pointed to the upper northeastern areas of the map. “Alright, from what we’ve gathered, these two locations are the best areas for you to start…”
Oasis or Old Olney

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, boys, the second story. Here you are:
Spoiler: The Story...
After about 30 minutes of discussing battle plans, Sanctum decided their first location would be Oasis. They confirmed their choice with the General, then gathered their supplies and headed outside. From there, they walked towards the main gate of the Safe Grounds, and spotted two vertibirds waiting to transfer them to their location. Once they were all onboard, they took off for Oasis. On the way, Vincent contacted the Undercroft of the Remnants and told them their first location would be Oasis. What he got for an answer was a few ghoul-like hisses and grunts. A sound of a punch was heard over the communicator, and then another mutant started talking with a familiar voice. “Roger that, Sanctum. We’ll be waiting for you there. Good luck.” The communicator dropped out before anyone could ask who it was. AzureLao spoke up, “That almost sounded like… Kybur…”
Once they neared Oasis, they noticed a group of mutants gathered at the entrance. One, in particular, was sporting a tattered brown outfit with bronze armor plating and wielding an auto axe. Once the two vertibirds landed, they all got out and headed towards the group, except for Derek Vader. Vincent looked back, “Derek, you coming?” Derek answered, “Nah thanks, man, I don’t do well with mutants. Especially those Remnant guys, they’re seriously *bleep*ed up.” Suttonboy walked over and sat on the edge of the vertibird that Derek Vader was leaning against. He spoke quietly, “I’m staying, too. Splat and Hilda don’t like mutants… and neither do I…” Vincent sighed and turned to both of them. “Alright, you two stay here while we go check the situation.” They both nodded in agreement and watched as the others took off for the entrance.
On their way up, they heard an enormous explosion come from across the Wasteland. They turned in the direction of Old Olney to witness a mushroom cloud rising from the ground. The radiation was too far to affect them, but the gust of wind still hit them slightly a minute after the explosion. Alex spoke out, “Good thing we didn’t go there…”
They arrived at the entrance, and looked to see the Remnant they noticed earlier. They recognized his insane white hair and orange-lensed goggles anywhere. Kybur looked at them all, “Well… good to see you boys again. Some new faces, few old ones, eh?” Vincent shook Kybur’s hand. “It’s good to see you again, Roy.” Kybur looked at him, “Yeah. Five years hasn’t changed much of us, has it? By the way, what was the deal with that explosion over Old Olney a few minutes ago?” Vincent replied, “Probably nothing we should concern ourselves with. What’s the situation?”
Kybur looked at the entrance to Oasis, then back at Vincent. “Something strange is going on. One of our soldiers tried to enter the area, but his head exploded. Literally. We were able to drag him out of there, but we didn’t know how it happened. Our main scientist, Labcoat, figured it had something to do with a “killing noise”. There’s a strange noise being emitted in there. He said it sounded like a high-pitched whine, or something. Makes your head explode, as far as we can tell. It's pretty obvious that everyone inside is already dead, including Harold.”
Vincent looked at the other Remnants, then asked Kybur, “Where’s this scientist of yours? Labcoat was his name?” At that moment, an incredibly tall, incredibly thin ghoul walked over to the group. He was wearing a torn up, tattered lab coat along with a pair of pants torn up at the ankles, revealing his feet. His body was badly mutated, leaving only his spine to hold up his body with twisted flesh hanging down it. He wore a pair of clear-lensed goggles, and his right arm was a robotic appendage that most of his mutated flesh was growing over. Labcoat spoke in a strange, computerized voice, “This white noise is very confusing to research. I’m afraid we aren’t capable of understanding it until we figure out where it originated.”
Kybur turned to Vincent, “From what we know, the noise either originated from Vault 92 or Agatha’s House. We’ll stay here and continue researching what we can on this “white noise” while you guys investigate.” Vincent nodded in agreement, then they all went back to the vertibirds. Once Derek and Suttonboy joined them, Vincent looked at all of them, saying, “Alright, guys. We have a choice between Vault 92 and Agatha’s House. Wherever we go, I think it’s time we split up into two teams. 5 of us will be Team Oscar, and the other 5 will be Team Tango. Let’s take some time to get organized so we know which team everyone will be assigned to, along with our votes…”
Spoiler:IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
Along with your next votes, I would like you all to vote which team you would like to be on. Team Oscar will be more serious and straightforward, while Team Tango will be more unpredictable and destructive.

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Here's the third story:
Spoiler: The Story...
The group finished organizing their plans and deciding the teams, determining their next location would be Vault 92. As they all started boarding the vertibirds, with each team in each one, something approached Oscar’s vertibird. Before anyone could react, a dog-like mutant jumped and tackled Methian to the ground. “Ah! Damnit! Get this thing off of me!” The mutant dog stopped barking at Methian, then reared back and simply stared at him. Methian stared back at the dog, who was armored with grey and black metal plating. He had two menacing, glowing red eyes that were made up from goggle lenses attached to his faceplate. He had hair-like spines running from his head to the base of his neck, giving him a strange “hairstyle”. Methian looked at the dog in confusion, “What the hell?”
Kybur stepped over to the group. “Hehehe, I see Rex found someone he likes.” Rex stepped off of Methian and sat beside him as he stood up from the ground. Methian dusted himself off and looked at Kybur, “Rex? That’s his name?” Kybur looked down at him, “Yep. Been my dog for a long time. Had him since I was five years old. As far as I know, he’s older than me. But he looks like he wants to go with you, instead.” Methian looked down at Rex, who stared at him and turned his head in confusion. Methian looked at Kybur, “So, we can keep him?” Kybur replied, “Sure thing. He’s yours, now.”
As everyone boarded the vertibirds, Methian sat in the back seat with Rex sitting in the unused seat to his right. They all sat and waited a short while to get to Old Olney. Once they landed, they all got out of the vertibirds and stared at what was left of Old Olney… an enormous crater. “Holy shit…” exclaimed MastaC. Everyone stared at the wreckage for a while until they decided it was time to find Vault 92. Luckily, the path was cleared for them from the explosion, and the wooden door to the Vault Tunnel was in sight.
Once they were inside the tunnel, they approached the Vault Door. SuttonBoy was in the very back of the group. He had a sense of grief and loss as the Vault Door slid open. Everyone stepped into the foyer, and then walked up the stairs. Vincent turned towards the group, “Alright, there doesn’t seem to be any alternative passages, so we’ll all stick together. Oscar will take point, and Tango will follow behind for fire support. Are we clear?” Everyone nodded in agreement and walked behind Vincent as they proceeded down the Vault. Methian looked down at Rex and said, “C’mon, boy” as he followed behind him.
As they opened the door to the hallway, the group noticed a man in a black tuxedo carrying a guitar running down the hallway and disappearing behind the door. Derek Vader looked in confusion, “The hell was that?” They shrugged off the encounter and proceeded forward. As they neared the door to the main foyer, they could hear “Dancers on a String” being played over the intercom by violin and piano. Methian looked around for the source of the music, “Alright, this is getting strange…” Rex looked at the door and reared back, growling. Vincent looked down at Rex, and then slowly turned the handle to the main atrium.
Sanctum stepped into a massive, circular atrium, similar to the one in Vault 122 before it was destroyed. They looked up at a large, rectangular window, which appeared to be the source of the music. A young, 19-year-old girl was playing a violin with her back to the window. She was wearing a black evening gown with green details imprinted on it, with white sleeve gloves and a white “VL92” printed on the back of her dress. She stopped playing and turned around at the group, seeing she had black hair and green eyes, with her hair covering her right eye with a green streak running down it. She looked at the group, “Awww, you didn’t explode?” Everyone stared at her in confusion, and she continued, “Oh, well. I guess I could enjoy an audience with you! In fact… I think I’ll have you perform!”
At that moment, she sat down in her office chair and activated a radio, which turned out to be Agatha’s powerful radio transmitter, and began playing “Waltz of the Flower”. Sanctum readied their weapons, and as the music kicked in, people wearing tuxedos and evening gowns were barging into the room, armed with assault rifles, sawed-off shotguns, baseball bats, and other assorted weapons. Everyone began firing as the music carried on. Vault Legend 92 grew angry since the fight wasn’t in time with the music, so she took out a conductor’s baton and began waving it around. The 92 Soldiers began dancing along with the music, firing at Sanctum in time with the tune.
Shave pulled out his grenade launcher and yelled, “Alright, *bleep* this!” He began blasting frag grenades at the balconies where the soldiers were dancing, blowing them to bits and sending their guts splattering over 92’s window. She looked down at Sanctum with a look of disgust, stopping the music. “What’s wrong? You don’t like the music?” Vincent looked up at her and yelled, “Come down here and surrender. We need information. Now.” VL 92 answered, “I don’t think so. You ruined my orchestra, so you all have to die. It’s a real shame, too. You all would have looked absolutely wondrous in tuxedos! Oh, and your doggie, he’s so cute!” She turned around and walked out the office door, leaving Sanctum in the atrium.
Paced music started playing, with what sounded like drums depicting a tone of adrenaline. Everyone saw a light coming from the ceiling, which was revealed to be a pyrotechnic bomb barrelling downwards at the group. They immediately darted back towards the door and up the stairway, rapidly running towards the opened vault door as the fire followed behind them. Rex led the group outside as he remembered which way the entrance was, thankfully. As soon as they exited the vault, Vincent shot the door controls with his sniper rifle and watched them fry up, closing the door to Vault 92 for good, seconds before the fire made contact with the door’s surface.
The group took a minute for a breather before Kybur contacted them on Vincent’s intercom. “Guys, something just happened. Whatever you just did at Vault 92, the noise generator in Oasis just blew out. We’re inside, and we were right. Everyone’s dead, their heads are splattered all over the place.” Sanctum looked down in grief over the residents of Oasis. “But wait, we found something interesting. It’s a holotape message from VL 122. He was telling someone named “103” to meet in either Grisly Diner or the Greener Pastures Disposal Site. We think it’s best for you to try one of those locations.” Vincent replied, “Roger that. Sanctum out.” He turned off the intercom and turned to everyone else. “Alright, men, you know our choices. Where to?”

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, Derek, I expect you to vote for this one...
Spoiler: The Story...
Everyone finished catching their breath, then made their way outside the Vault tunnel. When they stepped outside, they couldn’t believe what they saw. A massive, armored aircraft was situated in the crater of Old Olney before them. It appeared to have been crafted from an old freight carrier augmented with vertibird parts and engine turbines. Below the massive machine, Vault 122 Soldiers were gathering and prepping their weapons. Minutes afterwards, the aircraft took off in an incredibly loud launch of exhaust and fuel, disappearing from sight afterwards. The power armored soldiers spotted Sanctum, then began firing weapons such as gatling lasers and missile launchers.
The group began firing at the soldiers from atop the hill. Vincent was picking off soldiers one by one with his sniper rifle, with MastaC and Alex joining him by side. Casey and AzureLao were at the frontlines, doing plenty of damage towards the soldiers. SuttonBoy was using Splat to rampage through a crowd of soldiers and launch their heads off their bodies, going in an absolute berserk state. Rex was busy off biting the power armor around soldiers’ necks to pieces and tearing their throats out. Within minutes, the soldiers were dead. Everyone took some time for a second break, and then headed towards the vertibirds. Once they were inside, they began their journey to the Grisly Diner.
Hours later, once the group touched down and landed about a hundred feet away from the Diner, they walked on foot for the rest of the time. Before they were 40 feet away from the Diner, Rex began whimpering and hunching back behind Methian. “Guys, I don’t think we should go any further,” exclaimed Methian. Vincent looked at him, “We’re not going by how Rex reacts, alright? Now c’mon, I’m sure it’s perfectly sa-“ At that moment, the Grisly Diner exploded into several miniature mushroom clouds. The explosion knocked everyone back, but nothing good was waiting for them when they all got back on their feet.
A mutant wearing a tattered merc outfit was slowly standing up from the irradiated wreckage. He resembled a ghoul, but his skin was paler and his eyes were bloodshot. He was moaning like a zombie whilst looking up at the sky. He slowly looked down at Sanctum, and then started charging towards them at a high speed. Everyone opened fire, but the bullets seemed ineffective. It wasn’t until Derek Vader shot the mutant’s brains to bits with his .44 Magnum that he finally went down. Everyone looked down at the body of the mutant. “What the *bleep* is that,” exclaimed Stilson. Casey looked at the body, “That ain’t no ghoul. Something else.” Derek Vader looked down at the body. He slowly kneeled down and looked at the arm band on the mutant’s right arm. It said “John” on it.
“Johnny… holy shit, Johnny! Guys, I knew this man! He was a slaver, from Paradise Falls!” Vincent looked down at Derek, and then back at the body, “Are you sure?” Derek looked up at him, “I’m *bleep*ing certain. What if they-“ Before he could finish, more of the mutants started rising from the wreckage, all of them wearing worn and tattered merc outfits. Vincent yelled, “Back to the vertibirds!” Everyone started running back to the vertibirds while shooting back at the mutants, who didn’t seem to even flinch at the gunfire. They got back onboard and escaped the attack. The whole time, Derek Vader was looking down at the mutants, wondering what the hell was going on.
Once they neared the Greener Pastures Disposal Site, they could see something strange was going on. The radiation was cleared up, and there were no mutated animals near the area. The vertibirds touched down, and then everyone proceeded to inspect the area. When they concluded there was nothing outside, they proceeded inside the small building adjacent to their position. They looked inside, and there was nothing of major interest. Casey noticed a power switch over on the wall, and then pulled it up to activate whatever it was connected to. A stairway was revealed, and everyone stared at the passageway leading down. Vincent turned to the group, and everyone proceeded downstairs. They opened the door to a long hallway, and Vincent opened the door. What they found was unlike anything they’d ever seen.
Stasis tubes lined the walls, none of them empty. Mutated humanoids were inside every tube, strapped to life support inside the liquid. At the far end of the room, there was a massive computer console with two massive stasis tubes on each side. Vincent looked at the console controls and pressed the “start” key. The screen flickered to life and had an option displayed on it. The screen read “DISPLAY PREVIOUS RECORDING?” Vincent clicked the “yes” key, then looked as the screen flickered to a recorded message.
“So, you’re the ones who 122 is after, huh? HUH?! I wouldn’t expect you to understand our goal, but I don’t blame you. You’re doing what you think is right, and we’re doing what we KNOW… is necessary. Everyone has goals, right? Expectations? Yeah, you know, those things. Those things that people hope will actually happen. We don’t hope, we wait. We wait for the inevitable. And while your busy practicing your hope, I have a few friends of mine to greet to you. Have fun getting torn to bloody shreds.”
The screen blacked out, and everyone looked around. The stasis tube to the right of the computer suddenly showed a crack in the glass. Derek Vader looked at the mutant inside. The mutant punched the glass again, forming another crack. Derek Vader examined the mutant, noticing he was wearing a tattered version of his modified suit. He was at least 7 feet tall and had twisted skin. “Holy shit, is that Eulogy-“ The mutant bursted from the stasis tube and landed on the floor, life support tubes still stuck to his back. He roared a loud, terrifying roar, and then charged at Derek.
Derek unsheathed his machete and rolled out of the way of Eulogy’s charge. Eulogy slammed his arm, which was formed into a saber-like weapon, down at where Derek Vader was, but he rolled out of the way. Eulogy kept slamming down with his arm until Derek plunged his machete into his arm, causing him to rear back and roar. At that moment, all the other mutant slavers jumped out of their stasis tubes and charged at Sanctum. They opened fire while Derek and the mutated Eulogy kept fighting.
Derek got up from the ground before Eulogy began slashing away at him. Derek kept ducking until he missed a step and was knocked to the ground. Eulogy slammed his arm down at Derek, but he quickly blocked it with his machete. The two of them kept trying to overwhelm each other, but Derek seemed to be losing strength. Eulogy let out a massive roar 6 inches from Derek’s face, which gave him the chance to toss him to the side and slammed his machete down at his forehead. The machete went deep into Eulogy’s head, but it didn’t kill him. Derek impaled him a second time, causing him to hunch back and roar in both anger and pain. Derek yelled and gripped the handle of his machete and slammed it into Eulogy’s forehead the third, final time. He twisted the blade, carving Eulogy’s brain into pieces. He quickly pulled it out, watching Eulogy fall to the ground, dead. He breathed quietly as the rest of the group walked towards him. Vincent looked at Derek, “Derek… you okay?” Derek slowly looked at Vincent, his face covered in blood. He said quietly, “…I don’t know.”
Everyone wiped off the blood from the fight and headed back outside. At that moment, Kybur contacted them. “Guys, we have some sudden news. Paradise Falls is vacant. No slavers, no slaves, nothing. Everyone’s gone. Eulogy Jones is absent, too. Any idea where he-“ Vincent replied before Kybur finished, “He’s dead. And so are the other slavers. Vault Legend 103 turned them all into mutants. There weren’t any survivors… except for Derek.” Vincent looked back at Derek, who had a blank look on his face. Kybur continued, “Alright, then… Well, we found some info on 103. Turns out he’s capturing random wastelanders and turning them into mutant soldiers. No idea why, but we found a list of workstations that he started. Two of them were mentioned for use today. MDPL-13 Power Station and Jalbert Brothers Waste Disposal. Those seem like your best options.” Vincent replied, “Roger that. We’ll meet you at the next location once we figure out where to go.” Vincent turned off the intercom and turned to the others. “Alright, men. We need to find and eliminate Vault Legend 103. Where to?”

Yeah, sure thing. But I want everyone to make sure they start voting sooner. I don't want this game to turn out like the last few rounds of Dead End 2.

The ghouls were the mutated slavers, actually.
And if you're doing a picture for every Dead End, then I really hope the final choice isn't a Dead End... I'd hate to have to make you draw such a detailed demise.

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, boys, here you are...
And Derek, nice job with the team picture. I honestly laughed when I saw Shave's picture.
Spoiler: The Story...
Sanctum gathered their supplies and decided to head for the Power Station. They boarded the vertibirds and took a 5-minute break when they touched down near the Substation. They got out and walked near the door. Vincent turned to AzureLao, “Alright, there are rumors that ghouls inhabit this place. You think you can go inside and check it out?” AzureLao nodded and walked in the door. A few minutes later, he walked back out and said, “It’s vacant. No ghouls… except me.” Afterwards, everyone walked inside. Oscar stayed below and searched the area while Tango proceeded upstairs. They walked into the office, only to find a dead Glowing One in the center of the room. Nothing more.
Everyone stopped as SuttonBoy entered the room. Vincent sighed and turned around. “Sutton… I think it’s about time we talked. Shave, shut the door.” Shave closed the door behind SuttonBoy before he could react. He turned towards everyone and yelled, “What the hell is going on?” Vincent pulled out his sniper rifle and aimed it at SuttonBoy, “We’ve been talking it over… and we think you’re a traitor.” Everyone circled around SuttonBoy. “You hate mutants, you’re slightly insane… perfect ally for the VO.” Everyone aimed their weapons at SuttonBoy.
“Y-you gotta be kidding me, I’m not a traitor! I’d never work for the VO, I hate vaults! I HATE THEM!” Vincent looked at him for a moment, “… Guys, lower your weapons. He’s telling the truth.” Everyone lowered their weapons except for Shave. SuttonBoy continued, “Look, I’m no traitor. The horrors I saw in Vault 87 were… were… they were just too much for me. I’d never work with the VO after something like th-“ Before SuttonBoy could finish, Shave knocked him unconscious with the hilt of his Grenade Launcher.
“Shave, what the hell do you think you’re doing?!” yelled Vincent. Shave didn’t reply, he just aimed his Grenade Launcher at him and fired, sending Vincent flying backwards, into the wall. Everyone aimed their weapons at Shave and fired. He suffered a few bullet wounds in the shoulder before busting down the door behind him and tossing a grenade inside the office. He aimed and fired several grenades down at Oscar, who reacted and started firing back.
He pulled out a grenade and removed the pin, then looked back to see Vincent right in front of him. Vincent pushed shave off the edge of the railing, sending him downwards into a generator. Upon impact, the grenade in Shave’s hand detonated and damaged the generator, causing it to overload and send thousands of volts through his body. The massive electrical shock died down, with nothing left on top of the generator except a fried corpse and a Grenade Launcher. Vincent walked down, and Derek walked over to him and said, “What the hell just happened?!” Vincent looked down at Shave’s corpse and sighed, then said, “Nothing.” Vincent picked up Shave’s Grenade Launcher and led everyone else out of the Power Station.
A few hours later, they arrived at the Jalbert Brothers Waste Disposal. To their surprise, Kybur and his team of Remnants were waiting for them. Once they arrived at the entrance, Kybur approached Vincent. “There you are. The hell took you so long? And where’s Shave?” Vincent looked down, then back at Kybur, “Turns out Shave was a traitor. He’s dead. But that’s not something we need to worry about, what’s going on here?” Kybur looked at him, “Since you decided to visit the power station, we thought it’d be sensible to check out the disposal site. We checked out the area and found a few captives that 103 was experimenting on recently. One of them said he overheard 103 on a radio transmitter. He said that he needs to travel to either the Montgomery County Reservoir or Evergreen Mills. He said he needed a large enough “specimen”, whatever that means. I think it’s time we head over to one of those locations.” Vincent nodded in agreement. Kybur continued, “By the way, the Warlord contacted us. He said we're done searching for locations on our own, so we’ll be alongside your team from here on out. The more firepower, the better… even if Derek or Sutton don’t like it.” Vincent nodded and turned towards Sanctum. “Alright, men… where to now?”

Alright, boys, good news. Shave is going to start playing again, fortunately, and the new player, Moustache, will be joining as well. They'll start playing when the next story is up.

Yes, but you should know better by now, since I'm in charge for this round.
Anyway, let's move on.
Spoiler: The Story...
Everyone packed up their supplies and headed for the vertibirds. Vincent paused for a moment before turning to Kybur, “Wait, we don’t have enough vehicles, how are you going to travel with us?” Kybur laughed a bit and looked at him, “Oh, that won’t be a problem.” He pointed behind him as everyone else looked to see where he was facing. Two enormous, menacing beasts emerged from the ground in an explosion of dirt and dust. They both looked as though they were 50 feet high, and possibly double if they stood on their hind legs. They were 4-legged, crawling brutes wrapped in dirty brown rags held together with chains. Black, rusted steel armor plating covered most of their bodies, and on each of their heads were steel masks with a single, glowing red monochrome eye in the center of their faceplates. They had enormous jaws with even bigger fangs hanging out of them. The strangest feature was that they had house-like stations mounted on their backs, with rope ladders hanging down at their sides. Everyone in the vertibirds simply stared, mouths hanging open and eyes stuck wide.
Methian shook his head and looked at Kybur. “What… what the hell are those things?!” Kybur chuckled and looked at Methian, “We call them Beast Barges. Mutated masses of animal corpses. They’re used for travel, carnage, pretty much anything you can think of that involves monsters like them.” Vincent looked at the Beast Barges, then at Kybur, then back at the Beast Barges and pointed to them. “You… You’re going to be riding… those things?” Kybur nodded, “Yes, we are.” Vincent sighed, “It’s never simple, is it?” Kybur laughed and looked at him. “Nothing’s ever simple when it comes to the Remnants. Now, let’s get out of here.”
Sanctum made their way to the Montgomery County Reservoir, while the Remnants traveled on the ground on the Beast Barges. It took a few hours, but they eventually made it to the Reservoir. The vertibirds touched down, and the Beast Barges burrowed into the ground for a quick rest. Everyone proceeded to the main entrance to the reservoir. Kybur looked around, “Hm… no raiders. And no vault soldiers, either.” Vincent aimed his sniper rifle around the area to see if there were any other dangers around. “It’s barren,” he announced. Derek sighed, “Great. Another dead end. Now what?” Vincent lowered his rifle and turned towards everyone. “We should head over to Evergreen Mills, then. Nothing here to-“ At that moment, an explosion went off and covered the entire area in smoke. It wasn’t irradiated, but it still caused massive damage. Everyone recovered from the blast and stood up, most of them coughing from the smoke. MastaC stood up and yelled, “Okay, what the hell is with all these explosions going off whenever we go to a dead end?!”
It was at this point they noticed that AzureLao was the only one not affected by the blast, and was standing on top of one of the water mains. He was even holding the detonator to the charges. He pulled out his assault rifle and started firing at the group, leaving bullet wounds in a few of them. Vincent ran forwards and jumped from a rock onto the canister, now facing AzureLao one on one with his dual deathclaw gauntlets. AzureLao unsheathed his combat knife and began slashing away at Vincent, not losing a single step while on what little space there was. Everyone else proceeded to help, but AzureLao held his hand up in the air and formed a signal out of his fingers, causing several vault 109 soldiers to appear out of nowhere and begin attacking the group. AzureLao and Vincent kept fighting on top of the water main until the ghoul eventually kicked Vincent down. He unsheathed his assault rifle and aimed it down at Vincent. He was about to pull the trigger when someone tapped his shoulder. He turned around to see who it was, only to be looking down the barrel of a .44 Magnum. Derek pulled the trigger and sent AzureLao’s brain splattering everywhere, leaving his corpse to fall off the edge of the water main. Derek looked down at the headless corpse and chuckled, “Hehehe… I don’t like ghouls, and I don’t like the VO. And AzureLao was a combination of both.” He looked up and laughed. “The VO must really enjoy messing with me…”
Everyone finished gunning down the rest of the 109 soldiers. Methian watched as Rex was rabidly ripping out the throat of one of the downed soldiers. “Shit… I forgot how crazy these assholes were.” Rex then bit the crown of the soldier’s head and began wildly twisting it, eventually ripping his head off completely. Methian laughed, “That’s the spirit, boy! Rip his head off, haha!” Everyone gathered around. Kybur sighed, “So… dead end?” Vincent nodded, and Derek spoke up, “Looks like AzureLao was a traitor, too. Knew it all along.” Kybur looked at him, “Bullshit, you’re just going on with your hate speech of ghouls.” Derek chuckled and waited for orders.
Everyone gathered themselves and headed for their transports, then proceeded towards Evergreen Mills. When they finally reached the sight, the silently made their way to the cliff sides, behind a wall of rocks providing good cover and a great sniping point. Vincent turned towards MastaC, “You, check out the area, see what we have on our hands.” MastaC nodded and looked over the rocks, then grew a look of shock and terror on his face. He looked away, then back at the scene, then back away. He paused for a moment, then looked at Vincent, “Dude, there’s like 20 behemoths down there!” Everyone looked over the rocks and said in unison, “Holy shit!”
It was true. Armored behemoths were blanketing the area. They were all wearing composite power armor made out of car parts and building structures. Each one of them had “103” painted in yellow on their back. Everyone got back behind the cover. Derek looked at Vincent, “What the *bleep* do we do now?!” Vincent thought for a moment, then turned towards Kybur, “What the *bleep* do we do now?” Kybur looked around, then back at Vincent, “I don’t know, maybe we should just retreat. Whatever the hell they were doing here, it’s obviously-“ Before Kybur could finish, the ground beneath them began rumbling. Before they knew it, the ground collapsed and sent them tumbling downwards, straight into the center of Evergreen Mills. The rocks landed beside them as they crashed into the midst of the lair. Luckily, the rockslide took out 2 behemoths… but there were still about 18 others waiting for them.
Everyone got up from the rubble. They pulled out their weapons and looked around. The behemoths were closing in on them slowly. Methian sighed and looked around, “Well, guys… it was a pleasure working with all of you.” At that moment, a mini-nuke went off near the other side of the Mills, a behemoth corpse flying from the explosion and landing beside a train cart. Everyone looked up to see a hijacked Enclave Vertibird flying over the Mills, dropping mini-nukes on the behemoths. Everyone took cover inside one of the train carts, hands over their heads and ears while the explosions went off outside. The noise died down, and they all proceeded outside. They looked around for a bit. The behemoths were all dead, their corpses littering Evergreen Mills. They all looked over to see the vertibird touch down near the center of the area. The side doors slowly opened, and a hand emerged from it. No one believed there eyes after what they all saw next.
It was Shave. The android that sacrificed himself to destroy Vault 122 years ago. The one who saved Sanctum during the final battle. He was carrying his grenade launcher, Kybur’s Rock. He stepped out of the vertibird and looked at everyone else, smiling, “What? You all think death was gonna stop me? I wouldn’t miss this for the world.”
Shave walked over to the group, everyone’s mouths still hanging open. Shave looked over to see Kybur. He walked over and stood in front of him. “Well?” he said, still looking at him, “Anything to say?” Kybur shook his head and looked at Shave. After a long moment of silence, he announced, “………. You have got to be *bleep*ing kidding me…” Shave laughed and held his arms out wide, “I’m back! Haha!” Everyone yelled and grouped around Shave, celebrating the return of their adroid comrade.
Kybur looked at Shave, “Aren’t you supposed to be… y’know… dead?” Shave chuckled and looked at him. “Turns out the Enclave dug me up and built me a new body, identical to the first one. Even got the laser arm and everything. They transferred my brain to the new body, and I broke out of Raven Rock with ease afterwards. Few days later, I met up with someone from H.A.V.E.N. and teamed up with him to find you guys.” Vincent looked around, “Wait, who did you say you teamed up with?”
A few moments later, another man came from out of the vertibird. A Caucasian man wearing black combat armor, helmet, and sunglasses. Black hair, green eyes, and a thin moustache. He had a laser rifle in his hands, and a combat knife strapped to his left side. He looked around and turned towards Shave, “So, this is Sanctum?” Shave nodded. The man looked around and announced, “Nice to meet you guys. The name’s Moustache. H.A.V.E.N. sent me as a replacement for one of the traitors. Came across this friend of yours while I was out in the Wastes. We teamed up and found an Enclave camp, which is where we got the vertibird from.”
Shave looked back at everyone, “We searched the area around the Mills before you got here. We found a shack with a few research tools in it. What we found was a holotape sent to someone named Terrance. It was from Vault Legend 35. She said to meet in either Smith Casey’s Garage or the Warrington Trainyard. We think there are other Vault Legends ready to meet in one those locations, too. Possibly Vault Legend 122, as well.” Vincent nodded and turned towards everyone else. “Alright, men. Pack up and vote on a location.” Everyone nodded in agreement and went to gather their supplies. Shave turned towards Kybur, “Hey, Kybur, hold up for a sec.” Kybur stopped and looked at Shave. The android pulled out a dirty, rolled up sheet of paper banded by a red ribbon. He handed the contract to Kybur. “I think this belongs to you.”

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, waiting's done. Defcon1, I hope you like the story.
Spoiler: The Story...
Everyone gathered their supplies and loaded them onto their transports. They spent about 30 minutes scavenging the area for further equipment, and came up with several new weapons, plenty of holotapes, and a few boxes of cigarettes for Smoker and Methian. Everyone boarded their transports and took off for a place they’d remain hidden. Since they didn’t know what would happen at the Garage, they decided they’d remain stealthy this time.
They landed near the Garage, but far enough away so that no one would notice them. Everyone gathered their equipment and circled around Vincent. “Alright, Kybur and the other Remnants will stay here and provide backup if anything goes wrong. Tango and I will investigate the garage, and Oscar will stay outside in case anything happens.” Everyone nodded and headed for their positions, and Tango approached the door to the garage. Vincent slowly and silently opened the door, and then stepped inside. He silently walked over to the corner of a doorway. He saw a shadow emerge from beyond the door and backed up against the wall. He slowly peeked around the door and saw two people inside the room. One was wearing a tattered, hooded robe covered in blood, while the other was wearing a refined lab coat and reading glasses. Vault Legends 115 and 103.
103 paced around the room, fidgeting somewhat, “When are they going to get here? I’m tired of waiting.” 115, leaning against the wall, replied, “They’ll be here soon. 122 wanted us to be here early to watch for anyone nearby.” 103 looked at him, “Yeah, but how come we didn’t bring along any of our soldiers?” 115 shook his head and looked down. “Because, we don’t want anyone wondering what we’re doing here. The meeting will begin soon, and we don’t have time to deal with a few wastelanders… let alone those men from Sanctum.”
Vincent signaled to Shave to bring everyone inside. They all barged in through the door and ran into the room. 115 and 103 both looked around, see they were surrounded. 115 unsheathed a ripper, but Vincent shot it out of his hand before he could make a move. A few minutes later, they were both tied up and defenseless. Shave and Alex dragged the both of them outside, where everyone was waiting. Shave and Alex shoved them into the area in front of them, leaving them surrounded by Sanctum and the Remnants.
Kybur and Derek walked up in front of them. Vincent looked at the two of them. “These bastards wronged you both in horrible ways. Time you two got your revenge.” Derek picked up 103 by the neck and held him in the air, seeing him twitch in pain and anger. “No… No, please! PLEASE!” Derek pulled out his machete and impaled it into 103’s stomach, spilling several of his organs out on the ground with plenty of blood, from his stomach and his throat. He dropped him on the ground and drove his machete in into his forehead. 103 let out a few blood-curdling breaths before falling limp.
Kybur punched 115 in his face and grabbed him by the neck, dragging him into the garage, blood being left in his way. When the door closed, everyone heard a fatal shriek emerge from 115. A few minutes later, Kybur walked out of the garage, covered in blood. Shave walked into the garage to see what happened. All he found was a carved-up corpse with a tattered robe, with a pile of gore were the head should be.
Vincent looked around. “Alright, the other Vault Legends are going to be arriving here soon. We need to set up an ambush. The Remnants will hide beyond the rocks and provide firing support, while Sanctum will hide inside the garage.” Everyone nodded before a voice was heard, “Oh, I don’t think so…” They all armed their weapons and looked around, seeing they were surrounded by 122’s soldiers. Vincent pulled out his dual deathclaw gauntlets, “Damn it…”
Above them, a vertibird with a Vault-Tec insignia was hovering over the soldiers. The doors opened, and Overseer 122 appeared before them. “How many must die before we finally achieve our goal? How many must you kill?” Everyone stared at him as he continued, “You don’t understand, do you? No matter how many of us you kill, there will always be more. And now… I leave you with your last stand.” The vertibird closed and flew off, leaving Sanctum and the Remnants surrounded by power-armored soldiers.
The soldiers encircled them, slowly approaching and prepping their weapons. The commander aimed a Fat Man at the group and slowly placed his finger over the trigger. Before he could fire, a Stiletto blade flew through the air and went straight through the soldier’s helmet, into his head. He fell to the ground and died instantly, the Stiletto still stuck in his head. The soldiers aimed at where the knife was thrown. A tall, aged man wearing a tattered, yet formal outfit and hat with a pair of glasses was standing there, a cane in his hand. He gripped the handle of the cane and twisted it, unsheathing a hidden sword with the handle as the hilt. Casey looked up and saw the man. “Teacher?!”
Sanctum and the Remnants took the chance and began firing, bringing down several of 122’s soldiers. The old man began slashing his way through the soldiers, his sword cane easily cutting through their power armor. Casey unsheathed his Cavalry Saber and began slashing away as well, until he was reunited with Teacher. 122’s soldiers surrounded them, so they went back to back and began slashing away while dodging the fire.
After a while, the soldiers were dead. A few of the Remnants took the time to gather their weapons. The soldiers wouldn’t be using them anymore, after all. Meanwhile, Sanctum gathered around along with the aged man, known as Teacher, who had just finished prying his Stiletto from the soldier’s head and wiping off the blood. Vincent started, “Thank you for the assistance. But, may I ask, who are you?” The man turned to Vincent, “Theophilus Algernon Tanner. Or simply Teacher, if you will.” Casey spoke up, “This man is one of my closest acquaintances, along with Pasha.” Teacher looked at Casey, “Precisely. And that’s also why I came to find you.” Casey looked up at Teacher, “What do you mean?” Teacher laughed, “Well, Pasha has gone missing ever since he left H.A.V.E.N.. I’ve been searching the Wasteland for him, but it looks like I’ve found you first. So, seeing as I have no other leads, I’ll join up with your team to look for Pasha… if your superior allows it, at least.” Vincent nodded, “We’ll take all the help we can get.” Teacher laughed and looked at Vincent, “Great, just great! Things are working out just as I had hoped for!”
Everyone agreed to the plan and gathered their supplies. They gathered around Vincent after he had a brief discussion with Teacher. “Alright, we need to continue searching for the other Vault Legends. Teacher has informed me that a few settlements have been turned into VO outposts. It’s most likely that one of them has a mainframe that contains the locations of the other hideaways where each vault is located. We need to find one of those settlements and retrieve the data, and then we’ll strike at the next vault.” Teacher continued for him, “Our best options are Rivet City and Arefu. I’ve seen Arefu, it’s heavily fortified and well protected. Rivet City is just the same.” Vincent finished, “We need to find the center of the VO's operations, so pack up and vote on a location.” Everyone nodded in agreement and disbanded to vote.

Alright, time's up.
Rivet City = 2 Arefu = 5 Undecided = 3
Spoiler: Arefu is...
~CORRECT~
Guys, the next story may be up a bit later than I expected. I apologize for any inconveniences, it's just... I'm dealing with a few unexpected events in reality. None that I really wish to discuss.

I'm sorry to hear that Kybur. Take as much time as you need to sort everything out. Real life is more important than a forum game.
Especially when there's a funeral or two to attend...
Anyway, thought I'd like to inform you all that my Birthday is in 3 days, on the 28th. I'll still be here by that time, just so you know. And, luckily, I might have a new scanner by then, so new pictures in the gallery for all to view.

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, sorry for the delay, boys. Here it is.
Spoiler: The Story...
Everyone gathered the remainder of their supplies and proceeded to the vertibirds, while the Remnants headed for the Beast Barges. They decided they would head for Arefu, hoping to find something of use from the VO Outpost. About an hour later, they touched down far away from the Outpost and stopped to examine the newly-armored settlement.
Arefu had become completely unrecognizable. Massive steel pillars were holding up the dismantled highway, with walkways and railings connected between them. Massive structures covered the top of the highway and around it, giving it the appearance of a small city. The most striking feature was a massive satellite towering over the entire outpost, leaving everyone staring in awe. Teacher looked up at the massive structure, “That… wasn’t there when I saw this place.”
Everyone ducked behind the rocks while Vincent surveyed the area and attempted to conduct a plan. He looked back at everyone else, “Alright, that satellite obviously means this place is what we’re looking for. We need to have someone perform a distraction far away from here so we can sneak up the highway and infiltrate the area.” Kybur looked at Vincent, “Distraction? Heh, that won’t be an issue. The Remnants and I will start an assault past the structure and draw their attention, which should clear up the highway for Sanctum to run up and break into the main building.” Everyone agreed to the plan and gathered their supplies, waiting for the proper time to strike.
About 20 minutes later, the plan commenced. The Remnants began firing at the structures from below the highway, drawing the attention of the vault soldiers to travel down the structure and begin firing at the Remnants. Sanctum immediately began running up the highway while the soldiers were distracted. With no guards around the buildings, it was easy to make their way up. Once they were at the top, they proceeded to the main building. Vincent attempted to open the door, only to uncover that it was locked from the inside. He sighed and looked back at Shave, “You mind taking care of this?” Shave nodded and aimed his grenade launcher at the door. One explosion later, they were inside.
Several soldiers were inside the building, sitting at a table across the room. One of them noticed the group and pulled out a .44 magnum, then began firing alongside the other vault soldiers. Everyone backed out of the building. Vincent nodded towards Shave, who nodded back and aimed his grenade launcher at an opening inside the door. He fired, and saw the grenade bounce off the wall and into the center of the room. 3 seconds later, the soldiers were blown to bits. Everyone proceeded inside and investigated the complex. Oscar stayed downstairs while Tango went upstairs to keep searching.
Vincent noticed a computer terminal at a desk on the far side of the room. He walked over and activated it. The terminal began flickering in a variety of lights, until several data files appeared onscreen. Vincent looked through the files. “Battle Plans, Profiles, History… Vault Locations!” Vincent turned towards Shave, “Shave, download these files so we can get the hell out of here.”
Shave took about 5 minutes to download everything until Vincent heard a sound from behind a door, on the other side of the room. He walked over and opened the door to see a young, brown-haired boy banging on the door. He looked up at Vincent and then backed up, falling down at the side of the door. The boy’s head was wrapped in bandages, covering his left eye with blood staining it. He was wearing a tattered mix of clothing, leaving only his head and hands revealed. Alex walked over to the room, “Vincent, what’s-“ He looked down at the boy, his mind beginning to sound with a phrase from his past life.
“Just like you, eh?” echoed a raider’s voice in Alex’s head. He looked down at the boy, “… I know you…” The boy looked up at Alex. “The baby… The one whose parents were killed by them… The raiders…” The boy nodded and stood up. Alex shook his head and looked at Vincent. “We need to take him with us.” Vincent stared at Alex for a moment, then nodded quickly. The boy turned towards Alex and began following him. Everyone headed outside the building and ran down the highway until they noticed a group of at least 50 soldiers blocking their path at the bottom.
Everyone ducked behind the sandbag barricades while Alex and the boy hid behind the wall of a building. Several moments from Alex’s past life began flashing past his eyes as he readied his Gauss Rifle. He took a deep breath and sighed, then ran from cover. He aimed his Gauss Rifle and began picking off the soldiers until he was close enough to unsheathe his Phoenix Blade. He ran down the highway and began slashing his way through the soldiers until only 5 were left. Alex picked up a 10mm Pistol from a dead soldier’s hand and aimed it at the soldiers as they ran down the highway. One by one, he shot them down without wasting a single bullet.
Kybur contacted Shave on his built-in intercom, “Guys? You’ll all want to head down the highway soon.” Vincent looked back at Shave as he said, “Why?” Kybur continued, “We placed a few explosive charges on the pillars below the highway. We’re gonna bury this place and all the other soldiers with the structures below it.” Vincent nodded, “Sounds like a plan.” He turned towards everyone, “Alright, this place is going down in 5 minutes! Everyone move!”
Everyone darted down the highway until they reached a safe position back at the vertibirds as Kybur and the other Remnants approached them. Kybur handed the detonator to the charges to Vincent, “Care to do the honors?” Vincent took the detonator and pressed the flashing crimson button. Everyone looked at the underside of the outpost to see several massive explosions envelope the pillars below. Millions of bits of steel flew out from under the highway as it began to crumble. Minutes later, the VO Outpost was replaced with a massive cloud of smoke and flames.
After everyone took an hour to gather themselves from the assault, Vincent called in a vertibird to take the boy back to the Safe Grounds. Alex looked down at the boy and patted his head. He smiled as he said to him, “Take care.” The boy smiled at him and walked towards the vertibird. He waved goodbye as Alex watched the vertibird fly off. He sighed and stared at the sky for a moment, then went back to the area where everyone else was.
Vincent looked around, “Alright, Shave has downloaded the VO’s data files into his head, so we’ll have no trouble finding all the vaults. I went over the data on the terminal, and I’ve seen that we have two options for our next location. Both locations have a vault built under them, so we’ll have to be ready for anything once we arrive.” Vincent turned towards Shave, who continued for him, “Our best options are Hamilton’s Hideaway and Meresti Trainyard. There are vaults located beneath both those areas.” Vincent turned towards everyone, “Alright, you have your options. Dismissed.”

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, here it is guys. My sincerest apologies for the long wait.
Spoiler: The Story...
The teams hauled up their supplies and boarded the vertibirds. It wasn’t too long before they reached the entrance to Hamilton’s Hideaway. With everyone armed for conflict, they proceeded to gather around the entrance. Kybur and his team of Remnants stayed behind and guarded the area while Oscar and Tango proceeded inside. Everyone stepped into the underground complex, noticing the fortified walls obviously constructed by the VO.
Everyone kept their guard up, expecting vault soldiers to show up at any time. Casey walked around a corner, then immediately turned back when he noticed a ghoul wearing tattered, dark metal armor was crouched on the walkway, scouring his fingers through the remains of a corpse. He readied his Galil Arm and looked back at the ghoul, only to be pounced on by the mutant with his rifle knocked out of his arms.
The ghoul pinned Casey to the ground and began twitching madly before he let out a deafening roar. Casey attempted to hold the creature back while reaching for his Galil Arm. He had almost given up when he noticed a sawed-off shotgun lying on the walkway, two inches from his hand. He picked it up and quickly aimed at the ghoul’s face, then fired. The ghoul’s head splattered across the walkway floor, the body being sent flying off the railing. Casey got up and sighed, “That was convenient…” He dropped the shotgun and went to pick up his Galil Arm.
Casey kept on searching the area until he came to a corridor with a few dead ghouls lying on the floor. He looked to see a Chinese Officer’s Hat with goggles and a spike on top lying on the ground. He ran over and picked it up, examining it. “Pasha…”
About 10 minutes later, everyone except Casey met at a corridor deeper into the hideaway, having come up with nothing in their initial search. Vincent stepped forward and opened a large, metal door that operated using gears and metal beams. Everyone stepped inside before Casey suddenly appeared from behind the pillar behind them, panting in exhaustion. “Guys! I think… I think Pasha is somewhere in here!” Vincent looked back at him, “What makes you think that?” Casey held up Pasha’s old headwear as everyone looked at it. “That’s definitely Pasha’s,” exclaimed Derek.
Shave looked at everyone, “Wait, what if he turns on us? You know, having been a traitor and everything?” Casey looked at Shave for a minute, “…What do you mean?” Vincent sighed and looked at Casey, “Pasha… was a traitor. He attempted to hinder our last mission and kill us all in the end, along with a few other people here. Their service has lead them to be forgiven… but Pasha left H.A.V.E.N. altogether.” Shave finished for him, “And we can’t expect what he’s still up to if he worked with the VO.”
Casey paused for a bit, “… I don’t believe that. I want to hear Pasha’s part of all this.” Vincent nodded, “One more reason why we need to keep going. Now, if we’re done discussing it, let’s go.” Everyone walked through the door and looked down the massive hallway. Metal doors were lining the area. They took the time to investigate each room before they proceeded down the hallway, and turned to the right.
There it was. A hollowed cave with a wooden, framed door ahead. Everyone headed forward, and then noticed several ghoul corpses lying on the floor, plus a few super mutant bodies. A holotape was lying on the ground next to an old, modified Chinese saber. Casey ran forward and picked up the saber, “This is Pasha’s…” He looked down at the holotape and picked it up, activating it.
“To anyone who gets this message… my name is Pasha. I served with H.A.V.E.N., a grand army, years ago. I served with the elite squad, Sanctum… until I was deemed a traitor. I admit, the VO’s offer was tempting, but hey, what are you gonna do? Anyway, I left shortly after, and decided to pay for my actions. Atone for my sins. I’ve gone around the Wasteland, dropping these vault bastards wherever I see them. It’s a rather small task, I know… but maybe it’ll help Sanctum out a tad. I’ve recently found the hiding place of someone named Vault Legend 103. His vault is located beyond this door. If anyone plans on going in there… the help would be appreciated. There are a lot of mutants in here, so be careful. And if anyone from Sanctum gets this… I’m sorry. But hey, it’s nothing a round of liquor won’t solve, is it? Hahaha!”
Casey switched off the holotape. Teacher came up behind him, “Well? Let’s go find him, shall we?” Casey looked back and nodded, Pasha’s modified saber in hand. Everyone walked through the wooden door and looked at the orange hue surrounding them. The air made them feel sick, perhaps because of the spilled vats of irradiated waste littering the area in tunnel. Everyone held their breath and evaded the radiation.
Once they neared the end of the tunnel, the radiation cleared up. They noticed the vault door was already open, armored mutant corpses littering the area, all of them sporting a “103” on their back. Their injuries involved gunshots and slices across their torsos, most likely the work of the big Russian himself. Everyone attempted to avoid stepping on the mutant corpses, especially Derek. This vault creeped him out the most.
Casey proceeded through a door ahead of Vincent, and then turned to walked down a hallway, cavalry saber at the ready. He turned around a corner and heard a sound. He sheathed his saber and backed up against a wall, then readied his assault rifle. He loaded, then aimed and turned the corner. He immediately lowered it after what he saw.
Pasha was sitting against the metal walls of the hallway. He heard a sound and aimed his Chinese pistol at Casey, then lowered it after he saw him. “C-Casey?” Casey dropped his assault rifle and ran over to Pasha’s side. Pasha held his stomach, “Ha… I can honestly say I’m glad to see you, comrade.” At that moment, Tango, along with Teacher, came around the corner and saw the both of them. Vincent looked down at Pasha, “Long time, no see.” Pasha looked up at him, “Likewise… So? How’s Sanctum been?” Vincent nodded, “Few old faces, few new ones.”
Teacher looked down at Pasha, “What the devil happened to you, boy?” Pasha coughed a bit, and looked back at Teacher, “Got my ass handed to me… by a few of 103’s mutated thugs. Nasty pricks, they are… Worse than metro ghouls.” Casey helped Pasha up, “Well, you look fine to me, mate. I'm guessing you're just tired. But... 5 years… How’s it been?” Pasha laughed, “Good, good… better days than now, but it’s all good.” Casey held up his hand, "Oh, and uh, here's your hat and saber back." Pasha took his hat, "Oh, thanks." He placed his hat upon his head and sheathed his saber.
Oscar Team came up after a few seconds. Methian stepped forward, “Well, we searched everywhere, even the Overseer’s office. We found nothing, so… Oh, hey Pasha.” Pasha held up a hand in greeting, then looked at Vincent, “So, what’s Sanctum been up to?” Vincent replied, “We’re taking down the Vault Organization for good. A new team has been formed, so things were a bit rough at first. Turns out AzureLao was a traitor, too.” Pasha chuckled, “Well, that’s a shame. Now, anyway…” He turned to see Shave over at the corner. “… Wow. You look well. Come to think of it, shouldn’t you be dead?” Shave replied, “I’ll explain later. Now, Methian, what were you saying?” Methian spoke up, “To be short, there’s nothing here. All records of 103’s activities are gone. But… we did find something.”
Vincent looked at him, “What is it?” Methian pulled out a slip of paper. On it was wirtten, “The soldiers are almost ready. Remember the locations: The Deathclaw Sanctuary and the Yao-Guai Tunnels. That is all.” Vincent looked at the paper. “… Well… I guess that’s it, then.” He turned towards everyone else. “I guess this is our next decision. Let’s get the hell out of this vault, inform Kybur of the situation, and decide on our location.” Everyone nodded in agreement. “Alright, let’s move."

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
I'm sorry for taking longer than I said I would, guys. To be honest, I've been feeling a bit sick lately. I feel better now, at least.
Anyway, here's the story.
Spoiler: The Story...
Once everyone was out of the vault and back outside, Kybur approached them. He looked at them all, “What the hell took you so long?” Vincent stepped aside to reveal Pasha behind him, with Kybur’s only comment as, “Ah.” Everyone boarded the vertibirds, determining their location would be the Yao Guai Tunnels. Pasha boarded the same vertibird as Tango for the time being.
Once they arrived at the entrance, they landed and headed towards the tunnels. On their way, several vault soldiers jumped out and ambushed them. They were all wearing armored, camouflaged, torn up vault suits, most of them wielding assault rifles. Among them, several Yao Guai appeared amidst the soldiers. Sanctum immediately opened fire, taking out the vault soldiers easily, but most of the Yao Guai still stood. One of them pounced on Pasha, pushing him to the ground. Incredibly, he held the beast’s arms back and picked it up, throwing it off the side of the cliff and sending it to its death.
Before long, the Yao Guai were dealt with. Sanctum took the time to investigate the corpses. As it turned out, the soldiers belonged to Vault Legend 35… along with the Yao Guai. Close inspection of the beasts’ corpses revealed dark metal devices wired to their heads. Shave pried off one of the devices, along with half the Yao Guai’s head. He inspected the device, “These look like the devices that the Enclave use to control deathclaws. It has a 35 on the back, too.” Vincent approached him, “Then I guess we know who lives here.”
Everyone proceeded to the entrance gates. Once they were inside the tunnels, they instantly noticed the fortified steel walls replacing the cave’s interior. Everyone had their weapons out, ready for an ambush at any given moment. Once they were deeper into the tunnel, they noticed a path lined with steel railing branch off on their left, as if it was recently placed there. Tango went ahead while Oscar followed back in case of an ambush.
Before long, they reached the end of the steel path, and the beginning of the cave. At the end, a vault door was clearly visible. The enormous, gear-shaped door has a yellow “35” imprinted on it, implicating that this was where the Vault Legend “Vixen” resided. “Alright, time we got some payback on that bitch,” exclaimed Derek. Everyone readied their weapons as Vincent pulled down the lever, opening the vault door before them.
About five minutes into the vault, they heard the growling of Yao Guai everywhere. The looked ahead of them to see two Yao Guai burst through the doors and charge at them. They were taken down quickly in a blaze of gunfire. Everyone proceeded forward, until about fifteen vault soldiers ambushed them and opened fire. Everyone ducked for cover while they kept firing. Shave looked at one of the soldiers, noticing he was holding a device in his hand, similar to the ones used to control Enclave deathclaws. Three Yao Guai came barreling through the door after the soldier activated the device.
Shave reacted and ran ahead, blasting the soldiers and Yao Guai with grenades and laser fire until he reached the last soldier, holding him by the neck. Shave grabbed the device from his hand, then dropped him on the ground. He looked up in anger, “Go on, shoot me. I dare ya.” Shave nodded, “Okay.” He grabbed the soldier’s forehead with his laser arm and fired, causing the soldier’s head to explode into a mass of flaming gore. Vincent walked up to Shave as he finished cleaning off his hand from the blood. “Nice execution, huh?” Vincent nodded in agreement.
Everyone entered the atrium. They were inside an enormous circular room, just like most of the other vaults. They looked up at the window to see a familiar face, Vault Legend 35. She walked towards the window and looked down at them. “It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Too long since that instance at Agatha’s house.” Everyone looked in disdain as they recalled the incident. Moustache looked at Methian, “What’s she talking about?” Methian rolled his eyes, “Uh… nothing to really concern yourself with, okay?” Vincent spoke up, “Surrender… Or not… that would be more fun, actually.” Vixen nodded, “My thoughts exactly.”
Vixen pulled out a device, exactly like the one Shave took from the last soldier. She pressed the button, causing hordes of Yao Guai to come pouring into the room. Everyone opened fire, only holding back very few of them. Kybur revved his Auto Axe and began sawing his way through the beasts, not pausing for a second. Vixen watched in amusement as she saw Vincent approaching. She pulled out her chrome-plated .44 Magnum and began shooting at Vincent, breaking the glass in front of her with the first shot.
Shave blasted his way through the Yao Guai until he was right beside Vincent. He looked up at Vixen, noticing the device she was using to control the Yao Guai. He took a step back, then jumped and fired a grenade at the edge of her office. He appeared out of the black smoke and punched Vixen across the face. She reacted and punched him, as well. She immediately began holding her hand in pain. “The *bleep* are you made of, metal?!” Shave nodded, “Titanium, actually.” He kicked her in the gut and took the device from her hand, just as she aimed her magnum and shot him off the ledge.
By the time Shave was back on the ground, all of the Yao Guai were dead. Vixen looked around, “Not to worry. More where that came from.” As she finished, several more Yao Guai entered the room. She waved to the group, “Say your prayers, boys.” Shave held up the device as she looked in disdain, “I don’t think so, bitch.” He dropped it on the ground and stomped on it, destroying the connection with the Yao Guais’ mind control devices. Vixen looked around as the Yao Guai suddenly attacked her, knocking her to the ground and ripping her apart. Everyone else just watched as she was being brutally mauled to death, some turning away in disgust. Kybur nodded, “Now THAT is entertainment.”
Hours later, after the carnage had settled, they were all back outside. As they neared the vertibirds, Shave received a radio transmission from H.A.V.E.N. HQ, “Sanctum, this is Chief of R&D and Engineering, Maxwell Varras. We’ve just finished processing the information about the VO you sent us. As it turns out, they recently turned two areas into outposts, one of major importance. We're not sure which one, though, but the locations are Paradise Falls and the Super Duper Mart. We think it’s best for you to check out one of these locations and see what you can find.” Shave nodded, “Roger that, sir.” Vincent looked back at everyone, “Alright, you know the drill, men. Pack up and pick a place.”

Is it just me, or was that a Space Balls reference?
Anyway, sorry for the delay, guys. I was on an Urban Spelunking trip with a few friends. With that said, here it is:
Spoiler: The Story...
Everyone boarded the vertibirds after they finished preparing. Methian and Rex came to Oscar’s vertibird, Rex holding the mutilated head of a vault soldier in his menacing teeth. Derek looked down at Rex with a face of disgust, “What the hell is that dog doing?” Methian looked at Rex, then back at Derek, “Denying the enemy.” Derek shook his head and sat back down.
Derek looked out the side of the vertibird for the whole time during the trip, wondering what he would do to reclaim his home from the VO. He recalled the event in 103’s private labs. His fellow slavers, his leader Eulogy… he was determined to avenge them all. Everyone looked out as they neared the area. It was true, the VO had fortified it, but no one seemed to be present.
Everyone looked to see the giant doughnut-boy statue on a building. It looked as though it was cleaned and refined, its left arm being replaced, and the ice cream in its right hand replaced with a doughnut. “Huh,” exclaimed Derek, “When the hell did that thing get fixed up?” Methian looked out the window, “And what’s with the doughnut?” Derek looked down, “Before the war, this place was an outdoor shopping mall. That statue represented a massive food line corporation. When they switched to ice cream, they rebuilt the statue… don’t see who would do the opposite now, of all times.”
Both vertibirds touched down at the entrance, and the beast barges burrowed into the ground for a rest once the remnants evacuated them. Everyone proceeded to the entrance of Paradise Falls. No one seemed to be there, except for them. They proceeded into the inner mall, with still no surprises. Suddenly, they heard something emerge from the top of Eulogy’s abandoned pad. To everyone’s surprise, it was Vault Legend 92. Vincent looked up, “What the… I thought I trapped you in your vault!”
She looked down at the soldiers, “Oh, you’re just plain silly, huh? Every Overseer has a back-up entrance in their Vault.” She grew a face of disdain, “You know, I still don’t like you after that instance where you ruined my orchestra.” Derek yelled, “Like we give a shit!” He proceeded to raise his middle finger up to 92, with everyone else joining him. Vault Legend 92 grumbled and snapped her fingers, armored soldiers appearing from everywhere. They opened fire, most of them being shot down within 5 seconds. 92 retreated from the building, pressing a button on a control module she was carrying.
Once the last of the soldiers were downed, everyone regrouped. They looked up, only to find out that Vault Legend 92 had escaped. Suddenly, the ground began to rumble madly, as if an earthquake had just jump-started itself. Everyone looked around rapidly for the source of the trembling force, until Vincent looked up at the giant Doughnut Boy statue. “Oh, shit…”
The statue’s eyes began to glow a menacing red. The metal covering the giant’s limb joints began to shatter, as he started moving from his position. He stood at the corner of Paradise Falls, the soldiers below him gazing with their jaws hung open. He raised up the giant, metal doughnut in his right hand. Without warning, he slowly slammed it downwards at the group.
Everyone ran from the sight, outside of Paradise Falls before the giant released a giant cloud of dust and rubble from the impact of his attack. They caught their breath and looked behind them, to see Doughnut Boy slowly approaching their position. Shave activated his internal radio and attempted to contact H.A.V.E.N. HQ, only to receive a blast of static. He looked up and pointed at Doughnut Boy, “That thing is jamming our communication link!” Vincent yelled, “Everyone, get back in the vertibirds! NOW!”
Everyone, including Kybur and the other Remnants, ran back for the vertibirds. They all took off before Doughnut Boy reached their position. He swung his giant doughnut in the air, attempting to down Oscar’s vertibird as they circled around him. They barely avoided the attack, having made full circle and changing their direction around him. Alex looked at Doughnut Boy, “How the hell do we stop that thing?” Shave raised his hand, “I vote we call the Ghostbusters.” Everyone looked at him as he slowly lowered his hand. Vincent looked at Doughnut Boy, “Damnit, there’s got to be a way…”
Vincent stood up and yelled to both vertibirds, “Just shoot at it until I think of something!” They replied and began shooting at Doughnut boy, one strike from the frontal howitzer removed half of his faceplate, making him look like the terminator. Derek looked at him, “Oh, that’s just great. Now we pissed him off!” Vincent looked at Doughnut Boy’s face, and then looked down at his knees. “That’s it… shoot its legs!” Both vertibirds began firing missiles at Doughnut Boy, one aiming for his torso while the other aimed at his legs.
Doughnut Boy retaliated, now enraged with the vertibirds. He started waving his arms around madly before Tango’s vertibird shot his right hand, dismembering it along with the doughnut. This didn’t stop him, though, as he kept flailing around madly. Both vertibirds aimed for his legs, firing missiles to break off the metal exterior. After a few dozen hits, the metal on his legs finally broke off. Both vertibirds aimed at his knees and fired the howitzers.
Shrapnel flew in all directions, some of the pieces scratching the edges of the vertibirds. Doughnut Boy flailed his arms everywhere before his legs gave out, and he toppled over. His giant, metal body was replaced with a cloud of smoke as the vertibirds landed near him. Everyone inspected the giant monstrosity to make sure it was really dead, and it was. Shave inspected the giant’s head, viewing the framework covering his central control module. He aimed his laser arm and blasted his way through the metal as he pried the control module from the giant’s head. He walked out as he was analyzing the data inside the module.
Shave turned towards everyone, “Guys, just finished scanning this thing’s brain. Turns out it’s not just a weapon, but also a data cache. There’s something in here stating that the VO is planning a major attack on two locations, but I’m not sure which. All I could figure out was that the places they were preparing their soldiers are the Wheaton Armory and the National Guard Depot.” Vincent looked at everyone else, “Then that means we’re leaving for one of those locations. Everyone, gather your breath and pick a location.” Everyone disbanded, except for Derek. He looked back at the one place he called home for so long. After recalling the trials, deaths, and pain brought upon him by the Vault Organization, he gathered his thoughts and headed back for the vertibird.

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Alright, I managed to steal my equipment from my mother while she was sleeping. Here's the story:
Spoiler: The Story...
Once everyone arrived at the entrance to Wheaton Armory, Vincent ordered the Remnants to guard the area around them. Oscar stayed topside while Tango proceeded into the Armory’s substructure. Everyone pulled out their weapons and took dosages of Rad-X to keep off the radiation, and then took several different routes. Pasha, Teacher and Casey inspected the upper levels while Alex and SuttonBoy examined the missile silo below. Vincent and Shave proceeded to the back entrance, into the armory.
Shave hacked the terminal next to the door and overrode the access drive, giving them access to the armory. They both stepped inside, weapons armed. To their surprise, there was no one inside. They looked around, only to see that the room was vacant. No weapons, soldiers, nothing. The Vault Organization cleaned the place out.
At that moment, a massive explosion topside quaked through the armory, shaking everyone inside to the ground. Shave radioed Nathaniel, “What the *bleep* was that?!” Nathaniel immediately replied, “There are vault soldiers everywhere! They came out of the Wasteland, and I think one of them took Stilson!” Shave looked around a bit, “Who?” Nathaniel radioed back, “You know, the guy with the Street Sharks Jacket who’s been quiet this whole time! Eddie Stilson?” Shave shook his head, “Oh, yeah, him.”
Tango rushed to topside where they landed right in the middle of a battle. Vault Soldiers armed to the brim with big guns were slowly gaining ground over the armory. Tango immediately joined in the firefight, slowly picking down 122’s soldiers. It wasn’t until one of them broke out the Fat Man that things got hairy. Everyone ducked out of the way before the soldier fired a mini-nuke near the center of the battlefield. The soldier moved to the top of a pile of rubble near the armory’s run down building.
Everyone looked to see four other soldiers join the first, all of them armed with miniguns. Bullets blanketed the field, Sanctum still unable to return fire because of the soldier wielding the Fat Man. Vincent reacted and jumped out of cover. He aimed his sniper rifle at the first soldier, the one wielding the Fat Man. But, instead of shooting the soldier, he aimed at the tiny red dot on the end of the mini nuke loaded into the Fat Man. Vincent fired, and within seconds, the resulting explosion took out all of the soldiers on the pile of rubble.
Everyone regrouped and looked around. Shave spoke up, “Where’s Stilson?” “Right here,” exclaimed Eddie. Everyone turned to see Stilson standing 20 feet away from their position. He looked fine, except for the fact that he was strapped with several mini nukes on his torso. Everyone aimed their weapons at him, but stopped as he held up a detonator. Vincent looked at him, “Another traitor?” Eddie nodded, “Damn right. Those other two didn’t have the balls to end things without risking their own lives, so I have to do it myself.” Vincent aimed his sniper rifle at Eddie’s head. “Stilson… stand down…” Eddie nodded, “I don’t think so.” Eddie held up the detonator and pressed the big red button.
Everything went black. The teams woke up after the explosion. Vincent held his forehead with his right hand, shrugging off the aching in his body. He stood up and looked around. Everyone was all right. Some of them were still unconscious from the explosion, but there weren’t any mutations as far as they could see. Vincent walked over to Shave and helped him up off the ground. He looked around, “Any sign of Stilson?” Shave shook his head, “Nope… looks like he’s gone for good.” Vincent nodded, “Good riddance.” He turned towards the remainder of Sanctum. “Let’s all patch ourselves up and check for any signs of mutation. I’m pretty sure we’re clear, but that explosion definitely shook us up a bit.” Shave shook his head, “I know I’m clear.”
Shave went to help Derek off the ground, who spoke out while being helped up, “Jesus… what was that shit?” Shave replied, “Well, Stilson just tore us a new one with a bunch of mini-nukes.” Derek held his head with his hands, “Damn… This feels worse than a hangover…” Kybur looked at Derek, “It usually does.”
Shave looked at Kybur, “Wait, what the hell? Why weren’t you hurt by the explosion?” Kybur looked at Shave, “Hello? Mutants? Radiation immunity?” Shave nodded, “Yeah, but, the explosion, not the radiation!” Kybur laughed, “I guess we can take more punishment than you smoothskins.” Derek shook his head and looked down, “Ah, shut up, man…”
Hours later, the group caught their breath and managed to get back onboard the vertibirds. They waited a while before they reached their destination, the National Guard Depot. As soon as they started nearing the site, they were bombarded with several mini-nukes. Both vertibirds steered away and made an immediate landing in a safe position, away from the Depot. Everyone got out of the vertibirds and looked towards the building. Alex inspected the area with his Gauss Rifle to see one of 122’s soldiers posted on top of the Depot, armed with a heavily modified Fat Man. As far as he could tell, the mini nukes came from the weapon alone.
Alex lowered his rifle and looked at Vincent, “I think I know what they came here for.” Shave walked towards the two of them, “The MIRV, right?” Vincent nodded. Shave shook his head, “Wait, why would they want the MIRV? They’ve already got a shitload of big guns, right?” Vincent replied, “Maybe those aren’t enough. Our last lead said they were planning on attacking a major settlement, right? Maybe they’re looking for extra firepower.” Alex nodded, “They sure would be unstoppable if they armed their soldiers with MIRVs.” Shave looked at him, “That must be what they’re here for! To make copies of the MIRV!”
Alex aimed his Gauss Rifle at the soldier, taking him out with a headshot. “That wasn’t too hard,” he exclaimed. Vincent turned towards Sanctum, “Alright, everyone head into the building while me and Shave stay out here with the Remnants. God only knows if more of those soldiers are hiding somewhere, armed with MIRVs.” MastaC looked at him, “But what if they have MIRVs inside?” Vincent looked at him, “I doubt those vault soldiers would be dumb enough to fire several miniature nuclear warheads in an enclosed building. Now, get going, all of you.” Everyone proceeded into the building, armed and ready.
3 hours later, they returned. Over the time, no vault soldiers attacked. Everyone was fine, no one injured or maimed. Nathaniel walked up to Vincent, “They cleaned out the whole building. All the weapons, armor, everything. They took the original MIRV, too.” Vincent sighed and shook his head. Shave spoke up, “Hey, I think I’ve found something! The VO’s files were a bitch to crack, but I’ve figured out a couple different locations!” Vincent walked over to Shave as he was accessing the terminal wired to his internal memory drive, through cord coming from the back of the terminal into his arm, up to his brain. “The VO is trying to move up schedule for the attacks, and now they’re working on battle plans, scheduled to be revised today. They’re working on them in two different locations. The Capital Building, and the Scrapyard.” Vincent turned towards everyone else, “Then we’ve got our next lead. Everyone, pack up and decide on a location. We need to recover those battle plans.” Everyone nodded and disbanded.

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
My God... this... this is too much work for one man... can't believe I even got to finishing the story...
Spoiler: The Story...
The vertibirds touched down at the Lincoln Memorial, in order to stay far off and out of sight from the Vault Soldiers positioned on Capitol Hill. As they neared the ground, they noticed several HAVEN Soldiers positioned in waiting for them. Once they got out of the vertibirds, one of the soldiers wielding a Chinese Assault Rifle approached them. He turned to Vincent, “Nice to see you made it in one piece, sir.” Vincent looked at him, “Soldier, what are you all doing here?” The soldier replied, “HAVEN thought you could use some extra guns for the upcoming assault on the Capitol Building. They sent me as a replacement for your last casualty, too. Oh, and my name’s AzureLao, sir. Positioned on Oscar Team.” Vincent proceeded to shake AzureLao’s hand, “Glad to have you on the team. Now, let’s go over the battle plans.”
Everyone started loading their weapons. After they were finished preparing, Vincent stood in front of them all and began speaking, “Alright, listen. This is going to be one hell of a firefight. This place is the crawling with vault soldiers, as proof of the hundreds we saw in the trenches ahead of us.”
Everyone continued listening. “This isn’t going to be easy, that I can guarantee. But Shave and I have devised a plan. The Mall lies between the Capitol Building and our location, and the vault soldiers are everywhere in between. Oscar will take the right side of the Mall, the Remnants will take the left, and Tango along with the other soldiers will go in straight through the trench. Once we’ve cleared all the soldiers out, we’ll regroup on Capitol Hill, then go in guns blazing.” Everyone agreed to the plan. Vincent continued, “Alright. Remember, our goal is to find the VO’s future assault schedule. Once we have that, this whole damn war will be ten times easier. Now that we’re all ready, let’s move.” Everyone got up and proceed to the Mall, ready for the assault.
The air was littered with bullets in seconds. All the while, shots from one of the MIRVs were flying across the air, onto the battlefield. On the right side of the Mall, Oscar was busy mowing down every soldier they came across, making good progress towards the Capitol Building. On the left, the Remnants were shooting, clawing… and sometimes eating their way through the vault soldiers they came across. It was clear both of them were likely to make it before Tango, but they didn’t plan on resting for a single moment.
Down in the trenches, things were getting crazy. Everyone was scattered out, shooting in all directions as the vault soldiers kept coming at them. Occasionally receiving cover fire from the others above, everyone was able to make it to the door leading into the bunker. Vincent kicked the door open, firing his sniper rifle at one of the soldiers, and then proceeded to walk in and swipe at the other with his deathclaw gauntlet, leaving gashes in his face that quickly bled out.
Everyone ran through the bunker in single file. Once they were all on the other side, they continued to the Capitol Building. At this point, the MIRV’s fire had become frighteningly ecstatic, the mini-nukes seeming to land every 2-3 seconds without rest. The Capitol Hill was in sight, and everyone proceeded forwards. Soldiers still impeded their progress, but they made short work of them and ran for the entrance.
Nathaniel ran up the steps, wielding Hellburst and igniting every soldier in his path. Alex was close behind him, bringing the stragglers down with his Phoenix Blade. Derek and AzureLao were busy taking care of the soldiers coming from the sides, while the Remnants were busy with the soldiers on the other side of the hill. Tango was already at the top of the steps, shooting down vault soldiers as they made their way to the door. At this point, the MIRV fire had stopped, so everyone made it inside without any hassle.
The firefight continued once they were inside. Soldiers filled the complex of the Capitol Building. Derek ran for cover as he shot down two soldiers with his .44. Kybur jumped over the cover and sawed down 5 vault soldiers with his Auto Axe as the fire ceased temporarily. He went over to help Derek up, who refused the offer and got up himself. Everyone proceed to wards the next entrance, through the offices.
AzureLao and Moustache entered one of the rooms, both of them with their rifles at the ready. A total of 6 soldiers jumped over the broken walls and ambushed them, two being shot down almost immediately. AzureLao and Moustache both jumped for separate cover behind the desks, then noticed a grenade lying on the ground. AzureLao quickly picked it up and tossed it over the edge, taking care of the rest of the soldiers. Moustache looked at him, “Damnit, I wanted to do that…” AzureLao laughed, “Be quicker next time, then.”
Everyone continued forward, approaching the hallway leading to the center atrium. Bullets inked the air around them, not a moment of silence occurring. As the rest of the vault soldiers succumbed to the fire, everyone ran into the center atrium, the heart of the Capitol Building. Vincent ran towards the center of the room, but stopped immediately and looked up in astonishment. Shave approached him, “That’s it, all the soldiers are dead! Now all we have to… to… oh, shit…” He looked up as Vincent did, amazed at the sight.
It was an atomic bomb, hanging from the ceiling. It was wired to several tons of electrical devices, all of them with some form of timer on them. The bomb was enormous, probably capable of taking out half of D.C. Everyone kept staring until they heard a voice emerge from across the atrium, “You finally made it! I was starting to think you wouldn’t show up!” Everyone looked at the man speaking. It was Vault Legend 21.
Vincent shook his head, “What the… How’d you escape your vault?!” 21 laughed, “Oh, secret escape tunnel and everything, you know. Now, anyway…” 21 held up a detonator for the giant bomb above him and laughed. The soldiers held their weapons up and aimed at him. He held the detonator up, “Ah ah ah, shoot me and the bomb goes off… and besides, I just want to talk.” 21 turned around and laughed. Vincent aimed his sniper rifle as 21 turned back around. “You see, I-“ his arm, which was holding the detonator, was literally shot off before he could even really start his sentence.
2 minutes later, 21 was tied up, his stub of a left arm still bleeding out. Vincent picked up a scoped .44 magnum on the ground from the hand of a dead vault soldier. He walked up to 21, “You said you wanted to talk, right? To be honest, I think you and Mr. 44 here need to have a little conversation.” 21 breathed heavily as Vincent brought the hilt of the magnum across his face, dislocating his jaw. He screamed as loud as he could, which wasn’t that loud concerning his jaw. In the midst of his yelling, Vincent dropped the magnum and replaced it with a combat shotgun. He walked up to 21, who looked at him frightfully. Vincent held up the shotgun and pulled the trigger, sending 21’s head splattering all over the atrium’s floor.
About an hour later, HAVEN officials were at the building, cleaning up the bodies and taking command over the facility. Shave was standing on an elevated platoform, just finishing disarming the bomb. Vincent and Kybur both entered the backroom offices, still searching for the VO’s battle plans. Kybur walked into a room and noticed a computer terminal in the center, wired to several other consoles and generators. He also noticed a dead vault soldier lying on the ground, holding a 10mm pistol with half his head blown out. Kybur kicked the body as he turned to the terminal. “Heh… wuss.” He turned around, “Hey, Vincent, get in here. And bring Shave, too.”
A few minutes later, Shave was at the terminal, downloading the VO’s battle plans into his memory drive. After he finished, he brought up the battle plans on screen. Everyone looked at the screen as Shave spoke; “It says they’re planning on attacking the Citadel and Raven Rock in a few days, both at the same time. It doesn’t say why, though.” Vincent sighed as Shave continued, “It says here that they’re planning on setting up several encampments around both areas in order to bombard them with mini nukes… probably why they went after the MIRV.” Vincent spoke up, “We’ll contact the Citadel and warn them of the attack so they can fortify their defenses.” Shave turned around, “What about the Enclave?” Vincent replied, “They can eat shit and die, for all I care. Let the VO take care of one problem so we don’t have to. Any idea on where to go next?” Shave turned back at the terminal, “Well, we should probably start attacking the encampments that they’re setting up. Says they’re all over D.C., so we should probably start with either Grayditch or the Anchorage War Memorial.” Vincent turned towards everyone else, “Alright, we’ve got our choices. Everyone pack up and decide so we can get the hell out of here.”

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
*panting heavily* GOD... WHY DO YOU BURDEN ME WITH ALL OF THIS WORK?!
Spoiler: The Story...
The vertibirds landed in the ruined parking lot near the Anchorage War Memorial, having decided to go there first. To their surprise, there were no guards topside. Everyone exited the vertibirds, and the Remnants caught up after having the beast barges rest on the other side of the river. Everyone readied their weapons and walked around the building, entering the door to the memorial complex. Everyone was armed and ready, in case they ran into any vault soldiers or, God forbid, mirelurks.
Once they reached the crossroads, they all took left, seeing the way up ahead was blocked. A clash of footsteps trudging through water was heard behind their backs. Everyone looked around, but it was gone. They continued onward, they opened the door to the complex. Once they were inside, they split up. Oscar, Tango, and the Remnants each took different routes through the facility.
MastaC had his combat knife at the ready. He opened a door and walked inside, only to see someone kneeling down near a pile of empty jet and psycho vials. He backed out, not having been noticed by the man. MastaC turned around and signaled to the others to gather around the room. Everyone broke in and overwhelmed the man, pinning him to the wall. Nathaniel walked up to the soldier, holding his shishkebab, which was currently unlit, to his throat. “What vault are you from,” he asked.
The soldier simply kept thrashing about like a madman, blood pouring from his eyes. Derek walked up, “I think it’s safe to say he’s one of 109’s thugs.” Everyone nodded in agreement, seeing it was pretty obvious. Nathaniel looked at the soldier, hand on the ignition trigger of his shishkebab. “Tell me what you’re all doing here. And tell me where your vault legend is.” The soldier’s reply was a deafening scream before his eyes bursted from their sockets, which everyone assumed was a nasty “side effect” of the Jet and Psycho overdose. Rex grasped the corpse’s head and shook it madly, tearing it from its base of the neck and began eating away at it. Nathaniel kneeled and patted Rex on the head, “Good boy!”
Meanwhile, Casey and Shave were checking out the lower levels. They opened a door and gaped at what they saw; MIRVS lined the walls, some of them lying on a makeshift conveyor belt that still needed to be worked on. Casey looked around, “Wow… Never seen so many of these bloody things at once before…” Shave contacted Vincent, “Uh, sir, we found something… pretty important.” Vincent replied, “More MIRVS? Yeah, the Remnants found a room full of them, too. This place is a warhead factory.”
At that moment, Vincent heard rattling coming from the ceiling vents. He dropped contact with Shave and readied his sniper rifle. Before he could even think of a plan, a bulking, psychotic man bursted from the ceiling vent and lunged at Vincent, screaming like a madman. Vincent was knocked back, and then quickly rolled out of the way as the man lunged at him again. He noticed the giant “VL109” on the man’s back, imprinted on an armored robe covering a vault suit. It was clear who he was dealing with, now.
109 yelled and ran forward, jumping and clinging to the ceiling as he crawled into an air duct. Vincent got up and radioed Shave, “Shave, we’ve got company. Look out for VO 109, he’s crawling through the sir vents.” Shave replied, “Roger that, we’ll shoot him when we see him.” Vincent looked around and ran for the stairs, up to the location where Tango was located. As he walked into the room, he saw 109 running away, jumping into an air duct. He strapped his deathclaw gauntlets on and kept caution as he proceeded.
In another room, Derek was exiting into a hallway, the door suddenly closing behind him. He looked back and banged on the door with his fists, yelling for someone to let him out. He heard growling behind him, and looked to see a rabid vault soldier charging towards him. “Shit!” he yelled, then pulled out his .44 magnum and shot 4 times before the soldier fell to the ground. He proceeded down the hallway, machete in one hand and magnum in the other.
Shave and Casey walked into a room, seeing a giant metal crate in the center with “OPEN” written on the top. Shave looked at Casey, who nodded, then slowly lifted the cover open. They both looked inside to see several timers connected to a modified warhead. The timers flickered and flashed, stopping to reveal the numbers, “5:00”. The timer slowly began to count down. Shave and Casey said in unison, “Shit!” They ran out of the room and back down the hallway.
As they ran, Shave contacted everyone, “Get out of the memorial NOW!” No one questioned them, and did as they said. Everyone backtracked to the entrance, just barely escaping the memorial as it exploded behind them. They all stopped for a breather before they realized that Derek and Vincent weren’t there with them. They looked around, then heard an ear splitting shriek emit from the smoke of the memorial. They looked to see several of 109’s soldiers swarming Vincent and Derek in the center of the rubble, badly beaten from the explosion. 109 was overseeing the attack atop a ruined pillar.
The rest of the team immediately took action and fired at the soldiers, taking them down in seconds as 109 watched. He yelled madly and jumped backwards, landing inside a VO Vertibird and closing the hatch. The vertibird took off, and no one could do anything about it. Everyone went back to Vincent and Derek, who were both badly injured.
AzureLao took a First Aid Kit from his supply pack and had one of the Remnants, a young preacher girl named Banshee, tend to Vincent’s wounds. Derek applied the wraps to himself, not requesting assistance, seeing as he hadn’t suffered too bad from the explosion as Vincent had. After they patched themselves up, with minor throbbing, a HAVEN commander radioed them on Shave’s com link, “Sanctum, this is Commander Stratton of team Echo-9. We took the liberty of checking out Grayditch while you were busy with the memorial. We didn’t find any vault soldiers, but we found an old terminal that listed two locations that the VO had recently fortified. The Statesman Hotel and Hubris Comics.” Shave replied, “Roger that. We’ll keep you guys posted on where we go so you can check the opposite place out. Good hunting.” Stratton replied, “You too. Stratton out.” Shave looked at Vincent, who sighed and announced, “Just pick a place… damn, this hurts…”

re: [Game] DEAD END III ~ Closed due to a personal dilemma. I'm sorry, guys.
Okay, here it is.
Spoiler: The Story...
After about 30 minutes, the vertibirds dropped down on an overlook near the Hubris Comics District. They hadn’t been fired upon yet, so they were still expecting the worst. Everyone got out of the vertibirds and looked around. Nathaniel limbered up and stretched his arms for a bit, “Shit… feels like that trip took a week.” AzureLao walked up beside him, “I know what you mean… Does it always feel this monotonous with you guys?” Nathaniel sighed, “Only when it’s a slow day.”
Everyone walked down the overlook into the center of the plaza, weapons armed. Kybur walked up ahead and heard a sound come from behind a pile of rubble. He looked over at where he heard it and stepped closer. He examined the rubble and dismissed it as nothing, when he heard another sound emerge from across the district. Several robed soldiers were charging at them. “Shit!” Kybur yelled, revving his Auto Axe. Everyone prepared to open fire when a figure bursted from the rubble and held up a long, revolver-like rifle. In less than 5 seconds, the soldiers lied dead on the ground.
The masked figure climbed out of the rubble and walked towards Vincent. He took off his mask, showing his face. A light brown, shoulder-length haired man with piercing blue eyes. He was wearing camouflaged armor with gray plating, to help him blend in with DC’s surroundings. He looked at Vincent, “Hey there… You Sanctum?” Vincent nodded, “Yes, we are.” The man nodded, “Name’s Jericho, HAVEN recruit. The higher-ups sent me down to assist in the future of the mission.” Vincent nodded, and proceeded to shake Jericho’s hand. “Good to have you on the team. Now, what’s the situation?”
Jericho started, “Those guys weren’t vault soldiers. There’s a Monastery for the Children of Atom located near here. Apparently, they went and hiked up too much radiation and went apeshit on any civilians.” Vincent sighed, “Dead End, then.” He turned around, “Alright, let’s head back up and get over to the Statesman Hotel.” Everyone nodded, and as soon as they started walking towards the vertibirds, they both suddenly exploded, leaving everyone darting backwards.
They looked around. Derek yelled, “What the hell was that?!” Before anyone could try and come up with an answer, hordes of robed people armed with weapons surrounded them. Bullets flew as they darted for cover. Vincent hid inside an open Pulowski Preservation Chamber. He loaded his Point Blank Rifle and began picking off the robed soldiers one by one. After a few minutes of battling, things finally settled down as the rest of the soldiers retreated back to their monastery.
Everyone regrouped at the center of the district. Derek spoke up, “Well, now we don’t have any vertibirds… the *bleep* do we do now?” Vincent sighed, “Alright, Sanctum will head over to the Statesman Hotel to see what we can find. The Remnants will stay behind a-“ Kybur interrupted, “Actually, I’ve been meaning to tell you, The Warlord contacted me telepathically and told me we were needed back at the Undercroft. There have been reports of Vault Soldiers attacking the area, so we’re needed for defense. Sorry.” Vincent shook his head, “Damnit… Fine, get going. We’ll call you and fill you in on any future events so you can tell The Warlord.” Kybur nodded, and walked off with the rest of the Remnants through the D.C. Ruins, back into the Wasteland. Derek sighed, “Glad they’re finally gone… had enough of those sick bitches breathing over us.” Vincent looked around, “Alright, first things first… we’ve all been talking on the vertibirds about our suspicions.” MastaC looked around, “Wait, what? I don’t remember that!” Vincent looked at him and aimed his rifle, “Exactly, because we decided you were a traitor.” Everyone aimed their weapons at MastaC. He spoke up, “What the *bleep*?! C’mon, I’m not a traitor! Seriously, do I look like I would ever work for the VO?” Vincent lowered his rifle, “That’s what I thought… Everyone, stand down, he’s telling the truth.” Everyone lowered their weapons and waited for further orders.
Vincent spoke up, “Alright, we need to get to the Statesman Hotel. We’ll go through the metro system into Vernon Square and see if we can make it from there on in. Let’s move.” Everyone followed into the metro tunnels near Hubris Comics. After about two hours of urban spelunking, ghoul shooting, ammo searching, and trap avoiding, they finally came into Vernon Square. After they made their way through, they reached the Statesman Hotel. To their surprise, the Brotherhood of Steel occupied the area.
A power-armored soldier walked up to Sanctum. “You guys are from HAVEN, right? I’m Knight Captain Weston. We just finished clearing out the vault soldiers who were occupying this place. Elder Lyons has ordered the Brotherhood to help sweep the area while preparing for the attack on the Citadel. He also sent us as backup for your team.” Vincent nodded, “Good to have you with us. What’s the situation, now?” Weston spoke up, “We found Reilly and the other Rangers strung up by their necks with their eyes pried out and their throats slit.” Sanctum sighed in grief for the Rangers. Weston continued, “The VO must have ambushed them here. Only one of them escaped when we came. Some little girl with a 92 on her dress. Know anyone like that?”
Everyone sighed, recalling the moments when 92 had bested them. Vincent replied, “We don’t really need to discuss that. Now, any ideas where we should head next?” Shave walked up to Vincent, “Actually, our best options would be Mama Dolce’s and Alexandria Arms. Both those places are protecting Vault Legends, according to the databank.” Vincent nodded, “Alright, then those are our options. Everyone get rested up and choose a location.” Weston spoke up, “Oh, and we’ve repaired a few vehicles in order to get through DC. The metro tunnels shouldn’t be a problem.” Vincent sighed in relief, “That’s good to hear…”
Gentlemen... I think it's safe to say we're back on track. Thank you.

Gentlemen... I have to stop hosting the round.
After being in a coma for more than two weeks, thanks to a car accident, work has piled up and left me on the ridge of a mid-life crisis. This is going to take me about a month to finish. I can't keep having you guys waiting for the next story because of my own personal problems.
It was a good run, but I can't keep going under my current situation. Please, guys, please understand.
... I'm sorry, that's... all I can say.
