1. Get a shitload of Rad-X and RadAway, about 100 of each.
2. Stand in front of the irradiated area around Vault 87. Make sure all enemies around you are dead, and that you can fast travel. 3. Take all your Rad-X. 4. Start running into the irradiated area while feeding yourself RadAway (via hotkey) as if you couldn't last 5 seconds without it. And, in this case, you can't. 5. Once you near the door to Vault 87, the location will be discovered. That's what the Rad-X is for, isn't it?
