Completed - How to resume? |
|
Ok so i completed Fallout 3 in just a few days after having it, without even playing it that much. Well, the main storyline at least anyway. I have to say i was extremely surprised considering i thought the game was very long.
I am aware that there is slightly more to the game than just the main storyline? I think this because i only have less than 30% of the trophies i think ------------------- ![]() ~ Fit to Burn ~

you're *bleep*ed up, basically. there's no way to resume the game after you complete it. well, not until the new dlc is coming anyway.

You're basically screwed until Broken Steel comes out for ps3. You can still make a new character though, and please, explore a little next time.

Hmm. Was not really planning on getting Broken Steel. But i shall see.
Well i did explore, but i just seemed to crack on with the main quests, rather than finding and doing side missions. Create a new character? As in, start again? ------------------- ![]() ~ Fit to Burn ~

Yes. I've probably created 4 or 5 different characters, but usually just to mess around with different play styles (e.g. melee only, no armor, etc...)

The game is long but only if you are willing to explore (and also put off the main quest for awhile)
The main quest itself isn't open ended like Oblivion is and if you haven't got auto-save on, then you are screwed and must continue from a previous save. If you do have auto-save on then you can continue from there but don't do the last part of the main quest However, yes the main quest is extended in broken steel, which should be getting a release on PS3 soon since Mothership Zeta is out (I believe) ------------------- ![]() ![]()

There is so much more to do in the game besides the main quest. There are so many buildings that have nothing to do with side quests or the main quest. In each building there are clues about why it is there and what happened. For example, I came across a building in E'lefant South (I think that is how it is spelled) and in the building I found computer articles about the Chinese Invasion of Alaska and a report on the Pint-Sized Slasher that shows up in the Tranquility Lane Main quest mission. Another example is Mama Dolce's food company. It turns out it is a front for Chinese spies. I highly encourage anyone to explore the wasteland beyond the main quests and trophies because there is so much more out there.
