ok, so i beat the game and this is what i think.

So That woman who i first assumed was a nurse, (carried away by clever, handed me the key in courtyard) is actually a murder victim and the creepy child, her daughter, i understand that.. so I'm the husband/father and i was framed for her murder. And the entire escapade was a dream while i was being operated on by that creepy guy... but who is that creepy guy? is HE the murderer? and why am i even in the hospital? will there be a sequal that explains everything? god i hope so, the game is cool and the story is good, i think, but the end brought up more questions then answers. OH and on a final note the guy with the pistol who gets beheaded, does he have any significance at all?

I think the guy with the gun was a late addition to the game to compensate for criticisms that the game lacked human interaction. He was there solely to pass on the 9mm. Originally, if you saw the vid promos, the gun was simply lying on the table with a chestmaw zombie lurking nearby to thwart your efforts to acquire it.
