Playing against the program |
|
I've spent considerable time playing 3d pinball, I've read stories about the weak flippers, solved only by starting another program such as windows media player, and read about the ball going THROUGH the flipper, this has happened to me on numerous occasions, usually when the flipper is up while the ball is heading toward it. I've also had the ball go directly through the center pin, not while it is dissapearing but after it has just been activated. More recently I have had the game take extra balls that I have earned taken away from me, this last time I kept track, on ball 2 I earned an extra ball, after losing the ball, I was instantly on ball 3.

I completely agree, some of the lost balls are just too "freaky" to be realistic. You would think that the creators of the game would want the user to enjoy playing, not get so pissed off you smash your laptop (been there done that, I should've sued).

I dunno, I remember a few times when I was playing real Pinball (I believe it was a Star Wars one) the ball actually bounced over the flippers. As a matter of fact, it happened several times. I wasn't to happy about that. -------------------

There is no such thing as a bug/glitch free program these days (and there hasn't been for years). There's so much coding involved in creating a piece of software that it's practically impossible to check every bit of code to make sure there isn't an error. Anyone who looks hard enough will find something wrong with it. -------------------

This software is really crap, probably never tested by anyone with intelligence, though I see several here that are defending it, lol, says a lot for the posters.
