I've seen alot of people saying how ED isn't as bad is RE. Well I have a question, which enemies would you rather face, the ones from RE, or ED. RE is just genetically altered humans inwhich it destroys their brain and gives them only one notion, then notion to feed, but ED is supernatural with ghosties and what not. It really depends on what bothers you more, the insecurity of the supernatural, or the thought of humans who just want to eat your flesh..

What other side effects does this game have on me?

The only one it does have it making me want to play it, and thinking about it..

I keep trying to cast spells on people, but sadly, without the Tome of Eternal Darkness, I can't.

-I'm afraid to look closely at any bathtub.
-I sometimes feel like there is someone directly behind me.
-When I see a bust in a museum, I keep an eye on it.
-I'm always anxious that Max will jump up from the bottom of my computer screen.
-I will occasionally accept tapioca pudding as legal tender.

I was biting my fingernails and al of a sudden I look at them and the whol1 nail is peeling off like if you stuck a butter knife under it and levered it up. I blinked and it was normal again...

Also, whenever I see someone I can't keep myself from imagining them with no face.

Maby this is going off topic but whenever i play as
Max,Anthony, or Alex they phisically do somthing on the
game to make me jump out of my skin.(especially anthony)
I was having him stand still so i could draw him and i went to turn down the volume and he smacked the screen by
himself.You probally have had them move by themselves
but he only does it when im alone.If somone walks in he'll
just stand there.(?)

while i admit the game has scared me once (seeing alex dead in the bathtub) the game isnt that scary.... i dont hear any voices, or get scared at night...i think of most of the stuff you guys describe as just cool...like the blood dripping or the door knocking....the best is when it cuts out and says that i had a demo version and to buy the actual game to continue...lol almost crapped my pants...

holy crap... wen i played and beat the game in one weekend straight i started to walk in my house and id hear the house creak and id turn around and i could have sworn there was the green eyes and then id shake it off look again they were gone!

then wen my friend was playing he went threw one time and he was eating a sandwich and he said he would watch himself eat as his eyes went to the ceiling

Well, (this is true, unlike some other stories) I decided to dare myself and play at night, Ella's chapter. Well i really wanted to finish, so i did, saw the infamous bathtub scene, and started an Karim's chapter. Well i just HAD to go to the bathroom, so i stopped and saved at Karim's and went to the bathroom. When i got there, i had this odd, paranoia feeling and was afraid to open the shower curtain, just in case something was behind it (me). So lets just say i play in the daytime, in a well light room, and i go to the bathroom before i play.

also, for like a week, i would hear footsteps on my staircase, when no one was home, or they were asleep. So i went through self-theropy (i haven't played for a while, one because Max is just fat and old, and can't get far) but i think i am gonna take it back up
