yeah, I know it's closed, I've been talking to steel about it, but this forum has not met the minimal requirements, well it just got 2 pages of GD, but still need an average of 20ppd a day (I think it was 20, I'll have to check)

I downloaded the demo and it is pretty dam good, I flew between the buildings unlike the guy in that video, and under the bridge. Now 1 missile usually gets the job done, as it should be, and the gun is more useful then ever.

I can't tell what one of my wing men are flying though, 1 has a F-16c, the other looks like an eagle from the front, but looks like a hornet from the back

overall, looks to satisfy fans of the game.

Hmm front like Eagle but with back like Hornet..any better description..maybe your wingman's got Raptor

what I mean is that it has the eagle nose, and square intake, yet the thrusters resemble that of the hornets, dual, circcular thrusters. this was a cut scene mind you, but it may be 2 different planes all together.

The video on this forum has this scene, it's the left wing man. as he taxi's onto the runway, looks like an eagle. As the planes take off, looks like a hornet.

Hmmmaybe you right..that could be different types of aircraft that taking off at the same time...can't watch the video.it's lagging

and how many rudders that plane has..1 or 2 if one well it would be a Panavia Tornado

The main problem is THE BANDWIDTH, in Indonesia..it's soo slow..doesn't matter your OS is...I'm still stick with my XP

well, after playing the demo too much, I've come to the conclusion that it's not an eagle, but a super hornet. I looked close to the wings and tail stableizers, the angle of the fins and arangment of armorments on the wings look distinctly like a hornet, and the super hornet has the square intake, at least I'm pretty sure it does.

Hey bud. I was just reading what you said and I think you may have got one requirement mixed up. You need to have at least two full forum pages of threads to require a mod, not two pages of a General Discussion thread. I just thought I should make that clear in case you were getting your hopes up.

anyway, definitely the super hornet, the wings are definitely a hornets. I wasn't really paying attention to it the first time, just wanted to play.

The funny thing is, i was going to post the exact same hornet picture to say, It's a hornet. LoL

I don't think I would want to be a mod for this forum, since I can't get the game.
The F18's distinctive feature is the nose. It's smaller than most other planes. From the picture you can see that the cockpit is about the same width. From that view, it's easy to see why the plane is called the Hornet.

Hmm yes F/A-18 E/F cockpit look smaller than other aircraft..however it still 30% bigger than its predecessor F/A-18C/D

xeno, what do you do for a living. If it doesn't involve aircaft, I'll be shocked. You just seem to know everything.

anyways, the traditional, "flying fortress" of ace combat is back. This time it's a HUGE flying wing, which fires tomahawk burst missIes from silo-like pods on top of it. Then you have to run away, while avoiding the missles (now they apear as a red dot on the map which grows as it blows up. It's just a giant fireball now, unlike previous games) and while being chased by 7, SU-33's.
