OK, so basically I think some of the red cards I have been given are basically disgraceful. Some of them I have lunged in from behind and swiped the players' legs, which is a definite red card. But others, I have slid in and completely got 100% of the ball. You can clearly see the ball change direction as I dive in. But still, a red card is shown.

The point I'm trying to prove is that red cards weren't as well known in the previous games, but this version their just seems to be card after card. Is anybody else having these problems of disgraceful refereeing? Or is it just me?

I totally agree, I bought myself the game today (well, traded in Fifa for it) and I swear, I must have got about 12 or more red cards, and some were absolute shocking decisions in the oppositions half, I couldn't believe the decisions the ref had made. I also think it's stuff not to get a yellow card in a game.

Yeah it is a joke, I played 4 master league games and in one game my guy running thru was swiped by the opposing team twice and although i got the penalty on both occasions not even a yellow was given, And just 3 games later i tackled outside the box got the ball cleanly and got a red

I played 2 games against my friend and had 5 sending offs altogether, I have to say that 3 of them were very harsh where-as the other 2 I suppose were sending offs.

I played against AC Milan, I was Valencia. The match had to get abandoned due to only 6 players left for my side. There was only something like 60 minutes gone.

It's been exactly the same with me, I can't even press the slide tackle button without getting a red card (sure some of them were blatant red cards but not all of them). I've played 7 master league games and have 6 red cards.

Good, more realistic, as we see silly sending offs irl. Bit annoying if it happens to your team but still it does happen stupidly irl.

More realistic by sending players of when they make a brilliant sliding challenge. That's realistic alright.

I know some of the tackles are great sliding tackles and they do get pulled up for fouls which is annoying. I'm just pointing out that how often irl do we see perfectly good tackles pulled up for fouls. Ok some of the cards and bookings are silly, just saying it gives an unpredictable element to the game.

Yeah, I see where you are coming from. But how often do you see a team get 5 red cards in one game, with 3 of them being unfair decisions? It doesn't really happen, does it?

Yeah i know what you mean. When i'm absolutly raping my mate on the game he goes and gets as many men sent off as he can so he only ends up losing 3-0 rather then 8-0. It is a bit silly how easy it is to get men sent off.

Never had a red card, played about 10 matches on top player, but im good at defending.

i've only got about 2 or 3 red cards so far after about 20 games. but i try tackle the player by pressing X instead of slide tackles:P

100% agree with this, the amount of red cards is ridiculous. It's one of the reasons I've gone back to playing PES 6.
