This game was very close and only a Gudjohnsen header could seperate the sides in the first half. While in th second half it was all Man U with Tevez having 3 shots all hitting the woodwork in the space of 2 minutes luckily just before the hour he slotted home the equaliser.

Late on in the game GODjohnsen whipped in an awful cross whcih wrong footed the goalie and went in, then at the 90th minute Miguel Torres storming run down the wing ended with his shot hitting of the post and hit out near that half way line where the final whistle blew.

Once again,these match eports seem a bit too fashionalised.

It is meant to be that Torres' shot hit the post and the bar was cleared to the half way line.

Villareal Vs. Manchester United is being played out right now. Thats the last game I am going to do today, ProKing, take a break as well, you can do some friendlies tomorrow.

Well i think if it is your thread you should do it yourself then and keep it how ever you like, i'll delte my posts and you re-do them however you like.

PK, you are missing the point.

The point is this thread is for managers wanting to try out new/different formations and so they can see how new signings/reserves play, which helps the manager choose their best formation for the league and if you play games that managers havent specified formation/squad for then you are just wasting your own time.

The game was rather quiet for the first half with two back lines putting on a good show up until half time. The second half started off on a completely different tone with Modric dummying Ferdinand before he blasted a shot at the goal that was saved by Van Der Sar. Modric would go on to lay a ball off to Babel who rounded Ferdinand and blazed a shot into the right corner of the net from the left side of the box. Villareal seemed to pick up the pace from that point on with constant preasure on the United goal, however it all came crashing down as Dunne chopped down Mitea in the area giving a penalty to United. Rooney stepped up and finsihed the ball down the middle as Kameni jumped to the left side of the net. The games pace evened out a bit with both sides being careful and it seemed that Villareal would pick a draw, until C.Ronaldo made a run down the middle holding off both Senna and Capdeilva before he shot the ball into the top right corner of the net near the end of the game.
