There were some fake screenshots released recently. Those however look the real deal, seeing as theyre taken from a magazine.

It could be just Next-Gen graphics. It hasnt even been announced if Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will be on PS2

Lmao at pompey fan saying they're fake. They're looking good IMO. But that's we all said about the previous game. Only time will tell tbh.

Actually, from what I remember, people were really disappointed with the graphics with last year's graphics.

Those images remind me of those old images showing what PES2008 was supposed to look like featuring Adriano and Terry. Needless to say, I'm sceptical

Those images look like the players already do on the Next gen consoles, I have an Xbox 360 and have played the game so I do have some experience to comapre with. If that is all they have done in terms of graphics then I will disappointed.

The game play on the next gen versions also doesn't seem as bad as everyone keeps saying, granted I have only played a couple of game with my friend on the Xbox version I think that in a couple of game it will be as natural as the game is on the PS2. I think it mainly getting used to a completely different controller that has some of the buttons placed in slightly different places.

Also, I really doubt the game will be released on the PS2. I can't remember the last time a PS2 game came out to be honest. Our PS2 are being fazed out, . It was good while it lasted.

to be honest i wudnt be too fussed if it isnt released on ps2

the previous PES games have been near perfect and if we continue to play it , and OFs continue to be released then PES on ps2 is not gonna die out ( even if the game we are playing in 2 years time is still pes2008)

PES2008 obviously won't be released on PS2.

yup they real, to be released in autumn 08, for PS3, 360,PS2, PC, PSP

I hope they put as much effort into the Ps2 version as they do with the next gen versions. I don't want to be playing the same again with a few cosmetic changes (although after playing Pes 6 the other day, some things involving game play have improved).
