Villarreal manager Manuel Pellegrini said in last nights press conference that Villarreal have to bounce back straight away after being relegated from la liga in the previous season. Pellegrini said that he is looking foward to the new season as are all of the club and is aiming for promotion this season.

Tomasson ready to shine

Last night Villarreal's 31 year old centre foward Jon Dahl Tomasson made this statement: 'hopefully this season the team will play well and i will aim to score many goals for the club and hopefully we will be playing in the top league very soon' the 31 year old striker may be on his way out of the club very soon as Pellegrini aims to bring in some fresh talent.

Villarreal manager Manuel Pellegrini last night completed is 5th signing of the transfer window. After already signing brazilian superstar Diego for 12m, Belgium centre back Vincent Kompany for 8.75m, Bayern Munich striker Luckas Podolski for 6.5m and Daniel Guiza on loan Pellegrini made Croatia star Luka Modric in a 6.75m deal.
Pellegrini:'the players that we have brought in are world class and hopefully they can make history for the club aswell as the current squad'

After Villarreals spending spree there was also a few players leaving the club, most suprisingly Robert Pires(9.5m) and Santi Corzola(3m) and Tomane was released by the club.

Well a RW, youve already got a good one in ROnaldo and Odonkor and Walcott for that matter, and Robinho can play there.

AMF - Youve already got Diego and Kaka, so maybe someone like Anderson or someone young to give something for the future, maybe Van Der Vaart

Goalscorer - You shouldnt have got rid of Nistelrooy, but try and get David Villa or Van Persie, maybe someone like Martins even

Around 2 years ago, i went out and bought Winning Eleven 9 ( PES 06 ) and since then, there has only been one game for me.
played it for hours, days, weeks, months.
i was in the year 2039, and had my dream team on the pitch.

but a week ago, i felt i needed a change, i was looking for a challenge, a new pes game. although my intention was to wait till Pes 09 when i can buy ps3 and also purchase the game then, but i couldnt hold my self back as i went out and bought PES 08.
after a few days of non-stop editing, my game was now ready to play. so i started a ML two days ago;
I picked a team thats really close to my heart; Newcastle United i just got to the 1st transfer window.
i am in 5th place ( after struggling so much in the begginng! ) but my main problem is i cant score, the games i win are all 1-0 .. never have i scored 2 in a game. . so i just wanted to ask those who are now playing this game for long.. for any advice.. what formation should i use.. and what players should i pay who will solve my current problem? thanks, the help will be much appreciated

well i use a 3-3-4 Formation like this:

It has always worked for me in the ML
Oh and always using attacking tactics.
I win alot of games wiht scores like 4-2,3-1,3-0 etc.

I changed my formation at half way season to a 4-3-3 after buying a number of players and it seemed to be better. I am still trying out new formations to see which one works the most.
Can anyone recommend a true goal scorer as it seems thats what i am missing, I create alot of chances by just cant finish them and owen is not helping me at all, scoring just 7 goals all season.
