	Sunderland AFC; Sunderland start season on a high Sunderland 3-0 Wigan Ath Scorers; Diouf-2, Valencia (Modric) Spoiler: DELIGHT FOR FANS AS SAFC GO TOP Sunderland fans are delighted as their team goes top of the Prem after smashing 3 goals past Wigan on the weekend. The first goal of the match and arguably the best goal was scored by Antonio Valencia after Pascal Chimbonda took a throw in into the box of which Valencia headed back to him, Chimbonda crossed the ball into the area again, Valencia head it away to Modric down the left wing who then chipped it in for Valencia to score a fantastic diving header. Sunderland still looked sharp as they went into half time 1-0 up. Sunderland kept possession well and attack up the flanks which eventually worked as they crossed the ball in for El Hadji Diouf to score a fantastic right-footed volley from 16yards out. Wigan's day went from bad to worse after having goalkeeper, Chris Kirkland, sent off for a challenge on Tainio just outside the area. El Hadji Diouf took the free kick, low and soft and managed to squeeze it through a gap in the wall. The Sunderland manager decided to bring Diouf off the pitch and he put new 16.5m signing Roque Santa Cruz on, which almost became the best substitution of his career after he chested the ball from a Goal-kick and shot from 50yards out only to hit the cross bar. 	Champions League is coming to town Sunderland 0-0 FC Porto Spoiler: Super defenders denie both teams a goal Sunderland had the Champions League coming their way so they was prepared for a fihgt, and thats excactly what they got as they drew 0-0 against FC Porto. The game wasn't really about the attackers, the defenders was the stars, especially Branislav Ivanovic, he may of made mistakes but he was quick up onto his feet again and maybe saved Sunderland and HY Nam from mass humiliation. Healder Postiga, well known Portuguese forward had many a opportunity but despite having an open goal he still couldn't score due to the fact that Branislav Ivanovic's well timed sliding blocks and tackles. Despite the ammount of attacking each team only had 3 shots each, Sunderland having one on target, FC Porto with 2 on target. Sunderland thought they had scored in the 18th minute, as El Hadji Diouf dribbled the ball into the box, slides it through to Djibril Cisse, who slid to ground to get to the ball, put it in the back of the net, only to find out the flag was up. Sunderland tried attacking from the wings and that worked when second-half subs Etuhu and Santa Cruz went on a counter attack from the wing, but when they was about to get into the area, the final whistle blew. Man of the Match... Branislav Ivanovic 7.5 Spoiler: Sunderland managers comments Sunderland's manager on the performance of the squad " Well we played very well and i congratulated our players on that after the match. For a team like Sunderland to get a draw with FC Porto is very very good, and i think the reason we couldn't get a goal was because they have very very good defence. 	TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR; Tottenham vs. SBV Excelsior Tottenham 1-0 SBV Excelsior Bent assist: modric In a game where everything mattered, a game where Tottenham would see themselves be promoted, or face the possibility of playing at Division Two level once again next seasonn, it was Tottenham who came out on top. A goal early into the second half from Darren Bent, after Luka Modric had gone past his man in the box to cut it back to him - like he has done so many times this season, Bent only had to place the ball past the SBV keeper, and he did so well. After that Tottenham were just more than happy to keep possession, and in the last 15, it really showed how much they deserved to be in the top teir of football. They kept the ball well, playing one-two's in between SBV's defenders, and instead of going for that killer goal, they just showed more class by simply working the ball back to the defence who kept the ball even more. Cockiness? Well it's cockiness that definetly deserves to be shown off in Division One next year. But alas, they were not crowned champions after today's game, as NK Dinamo Zagreb, Tottenham's rivals for the D2 title also won. 3-1 against a poor PES United. Look's like it's down to the last game. And Spurs should have nothing to worry about, seeing as it is against FC Basel. A team they beat three nil earlier in the season, with the game stats possession being around 82-18.

I pretty much am glad i did. Because my plyers have no fatigue and are well up for it! although we only won 1-0 :/ ah well, last game of the season it is then haha

	Is this strange or what? when i started my ML with Sunderland, Modric was with the team he used to play for before Tottenham, then in mid-season Tottenham signed him, then ofcourse i stole him but thats not the point, strange huh?

	well i created di Santo, and with 79 skill he is like he is in real. and HY Nam, i bought him in mid season 2007 and by Week 1 2008 he was at 90 skill, brilliant improvement for such a young player, but you must play him every game or something so he gets experience, but only get him if you can score a goal easily, cos he conceeds quite a bit until he gets to 90 skill
