Well tbh I picked my team for the Euro 2008 thread, and never looked at it again.

That was probably because I had a shit team though, it might have been different if I had Holland or France etc.

look at Spain they are bottom of the group with 0 points. so it doesn't matter what team you get.

I find the euro better because of the suspensions and the injuries. I'm constantly checking back to make sure none of my player are suspended or Injured.

To be honest with you I thought the whole Super League concept was a bad idea in hindsight. While the activity picked up during season two I realise it was unnecessary to move away from the Draft League competition that worked so well on the previous game. I still regard the Super League as being moderately successful but I'm sure another Draft League in the same style as the original one but with a few extra ideas thrown in would have made for a brilliant series of threads and I would imagine it might still be going now.

I'm hoping the next version of the Draft League that I may or may not run will better the PES6 version but at the moment it looks more unlikely that suspensions and injuries will play a role than it does likely. I personally feel it would be way too much work for a 40 + team competition like that.

I have said already it is not a 1 man job. I struggled to get some games played for the Euro comp as they are so time consuming and appreciated Jonesy's help in getting these played. I noticed the same with the Super League and eventually it was Charles who played all the games. Not a personal dig Sweeney as I know these things suck up your free time as the Euro Comp has done to me.

I think for a Draft League to work properly it needs at least 2 people to organise and manage instead of all the work being done by individual.

It would have to be more than two organizers then as I'm pretty sure it would have been too much to do when Charlie and myself were both running the Super League.

Come to the NeoPES Manager's League We've got suspensions, injuries, player development and everything.

Anyway, it takes a lot to do one of these things. In the NeoPES Manager's League we've got 3 people organising it. One for the League A games, another for the League B, and the other for the presentation stuff and all of that kind of stuff. It takes a lot out of me sometimes; people bitching at me because the games are a bit late, or I've done something wrong accidentally, and sometimes, I seriously cannot be arsed doing games.
