Slight Master League Problem (help appreciated) |
|
in PES6 on my Master League I had the best players at the time; Gerrard and Ronaldinho; as i first signed them they began absoulutly unstoppible but slowly decreased due to 'Player Developnment' and by around 2012 in my master league they were bloody useless!! this really annoyed me because gerrard is my fav player, and Ronaldinho is an icon. So in my PES 2008 master league i switched player devolpment off when I started, but this also meant that young players were unable to devolep.. Anyone have any solutions to my problem here?? I would like my older players to stay great untill they retire and for younger players to develop, is this possible or do I just want to have my cake and eat it too.??

Well there really is no solution if you turn the player development off...
but you can either wait for Ronnie and Gerrard to retire and get them when they start playing again, or just simply replace them with players that are almost exactly the same. but anyway why would you want to put the development thing off? It's like the main thing about the game, and almost the main thing that I would want to do in ML is to improve young players, since the ML is Kinda disappointing in terms of features. ------------------- ![]() | |

You could try changing their development curves in the edit mode. And if you keep playing them every match, without hardly ever subbing them or leaving them out, stats like passing ability and shooting ability will go up which can make up for those stats which go down like speed. I had Lampard as a starter in my team up to the 2013 season, by which time he was about 34, but the marker on his development curve was more or less where it was when I started the master league.

just change their peaks in edit mode.
go to Gerrard for example, and go into player details (i think) and select 'LONG/LASTING' under 'Player Development'. This should keep him at a decent level without dropping until he retires. -------------------

I love the long/lasting development curve. When ever I create players I always give them that because they seem to peak much higher, and, obviously, once they reach their peak they stay like it until they retire.
