European Cup in masters league

Hi,

I've been playing pes 2008 masters league with my newly formed team. I have won the D1 league alot of times, but I eventually entered the semi finals of the european cup in the masters league which tends to be the hardest cup in the masters lague.

I have looked at the other leagues in the masters league mode, such as league B which consists of the english teams. What I found that was surprising is WIgan being the best team, not loosing any game, and winning all of their games, and scoring so many amount of goals by looking at their goal differences, only conceeding 1 or 3 goals :s...

I have been drawn with wigan in the semi finals, and must say, it is soo hardd ot beat them. I have good defence,

such as lucio, anderson, woez, (cant remember the name properly), and I have brought Baines and Hikkel as wing backs..

I have put a formation of 3-2-3-2, with 2 wingers in midfield (odonkor, and walcott), and playing martins as a second striker, and donovan as a RWF,...

This formation works wonders, and I tend to thrash teams by 8 or 6 goals. I am playing as a professional level, I think that or top player, lol, but its hard level ...

anyway, although I have thrashed other teams with some ease, I can never beat Wigan. Although my attacking power is good, M.Bent and Heskey are so hard to get the ball off, my defence plays well, but its so hard to prevent headers from set pieces such as corners, and M. Bent ends up always scoring from corners, and its just so hard to defend against..

Anyone got ideas, on how to avoid them scoring, or any valuable fast defender who I should buy next time for the team?

Take this to the 09 thread mate, you'll be better off asking there. Even if you're playing on last years edition.
