Which is better for online play this or fifa 08

I'd say pro evolution if you're all for gameplay, if graphics and licences, then Fifa. Liverpool aren't licenced, no, but not many teams are. As I said, this game has brilliant gameplay, Fifa's good but pro evo just about beats it.

Well if you're posting in this forum you should be expecting a biased answer to be honest.

But in all fairness, I had Fifa 2008 before I had PES 2008, and I much prefer PES, I traded Fifa in, I mean it's a good game Fifa, but once you play it after a while it gets extremely boring. Be A Pro mode is excellent though on Fifa. As well as the Master League mode on PES. I've never played Fifa Online but I have played PES Online and it's really laggy unfortunately, hopefully they sort that out soon. And unfortunately, Liverpool aren't licensed, I'd love to see them licensed.

I never played either online but i heard pro was laggy online so get fifa ive never heard complaints about fifa online, but if i were you i'd go for pro but he, i only played a few matches of fifa and pro is better i guess but it is anoying to see names like man red, man blue, hence licenses, but you can always edit....

I've never played online, cus i don't have xbox live
But i have played Fifa i gots it with the xbox and played about 4 minutes on it. Truly dull and boring in my opinion.
Is the play different online?

For offline:

Fifa has better Graphics for me and also has a better Career Mode. I am starting to think about changing back to Fifa tbh. I think Pro Evo is getting a bit repetative and that is what Fifa did not get.

Pro Evo has better gameplay, but only just. It also has better editing options, where as Fifa has barely any. I believe Fifa will overtake Pro soon i'm affraid to say for all you Pro Evo fans out there.

Overall, they are fairly similar in their different ways, but I would say if you want a game you can enjoy more, go for Pro Evo. On the other hand, if you want a game that is more realistic, go for Fifa!

I don't think the editing is that big a problem to be honest. They can still expand on it though. I think their main problem is the Gameplay. Despite the fact that it is addictive, it has many flaws, e.g. Gaping holes in the defence, impossible to tackly players etc.. If they sort that out, then it will be a great game.

Yeah i've noticed that too about the Defence, and the fact i can't make slide challenges successfully alot of the time (may just be me on that one)?
I think little aspects of the game could be improved, for me dribbling is still to straight and not free flowing it's as if there following and imaginary line.
Also would love to see 2 footed challenges and other real life aspects that you see in the game of today in the game.
Editing ain't too bad on a second looking, i've made the prem kits without logos n shiz because of obvious reasons but it still could be improved.

I find defence a major problem, one slight opening against a team like barca and youre done for, i dont care about editing, tackling is possible but you catch a player more and the challenges seem heavy but the major problem is the ref i got two great tackles in today in a great FK position, i clearly catched the ball first and the ref gave a FK in one case a yellow, both FK's resulted in goals, the faul system is bull TBH.

So by all the stuff i heard i should go for fifa
