My highest rating in a game that I checked was only 9.0, but I've got it a lot of times. I'd say my average rating for a striker is 7.5, midfielder 6.5 and defender 6.0.

I don't see how the defence can get so little ratings all the time, if you have the ball so much up front, they won't see much of the ball.

My highest is 8.5 with Lee Barnard.
But my keepers get 6.0-6.5 unless i defend really badly and they have to make numerous saves.

my higest rating is 8.5 with kaka, i agree that defenders get low ratings even tough they defend well because they dont get onto the ball that much they usualy get 6.0's in super performances defensively for me...

True as well, you have a good point.

But even when it seems they defend really well, the strikers get all the praise with the better ratings, it's like that in real life too.

Which makes it realistic ? You ask for more realism and now you complain ! Poor Seabass o/j haha.

Haha, I might try that later you know. Would changing the stats affect whether I get achievements or not?

That's strange. Konami must have messed up with the Achievements slightly, I've never got an achievement when I turned my Xbox on.

Has anybody seen the achievements for that new game "Avatar"? They're disgraceful, it shows tidus04 (neomember) getting 1000 gamerscore in less than two minutes.

If you score consistently with defenders they can get a good rating. Alex of Chelsea could get a decent rating. He can score free-kicks and headers from corners.

Sami Hyypia headers from corners obv, Kolo Toure long shots obv.

My team's ratings are shit. Michael Owen has got 38 goals in 19 games and his average rating is shit.

In the ratings last year in my Master League, I believe there was only three or four teams in the overall ratings. From what I remember, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan were definitely three of them. Not one of my players go into it in the whole year, bit stupid that.

Do you notice the computer always get higher ratings than you. Like you have a striker who has double the goals and assists of the computers yet he has a higher rating than you.

yeah i get it too mycon, my highest ratings are 8.5 with Rooney and Ronaldo. Got an 8.0 with Rio against Chelsea, scored 2 and had one cleared off the line!

Cristiano Ronaldo gets really high ratings in my opinion, he is so good on the game, easily the best winger on PES, but Konami have really overrated him just because he's on the front cover on the game. He does tricks even when you don't press any combination of trick buttons, and the opposition can't seem to take the ball off of him without fouling him.

Has anybody scored with their goalkeeper yet?
