It was 3-4-3 I think. Scored a couple of screamers with Van der Vaart and Vicente, both have lethal shots from distance.

I'm top of the Prem with my 3-3-4 formation. Going well. Owen and Martins are tearing up the Prem and Viduka is doing a pretty good job filling in when one of them is tired. I'm defintely looking to bring in a few more centre forwards or wingers to strengthen my team. Any recommendations? (Apart from Gignac)

I just had the most frustrating match ever in my Aston Villa ML. I had 18 shots on goal, Brugge had 2 yet it was only 1-0 to me at 85 mins. They have a corner which I stop, then the ball is set for a counter-attack when the computer decides to make Reo-Coker kick the ball out for another corner. Brugge score from that corner. Then I run from kick-off in frustration with Agbonlahor and he plays a perfect ball to Carew in the six-yard box. Carew goes and hits the post.

Other than that, I am lying 4th in the table which is decent enough. John Carew is top scorer and Ashley Young is top assister.

Blimey, just looked at the Total Goals/Assists ranking.

Petrov, Bianchi and Mpenza from Man City.
Mpenza is so fast brilliant as an SS or WF.
Bianchi scores goals for fun and is a great target man.
And Petrov who plays LWF for me has scored over 10 goals this season and is the Leading TOTAL Assisster with about 16 i think.

Just an idea here, but I'm pretty bored of my ML at the moment and I can't seem to get in to one no matter what I do. So, would anyone be interested in participating in any sort of ML challenge?

Got into an arsenal ml havent reached mid-season negotiations yet but after a bad start im on a 5 win streak and with the strikers the teams got im going to have to play 3-3-4 my next match just to try it out

EDIT - I think ive found my new formation. It was 3-2-1-4 as I had a an Attacking mid too. Cup game v Sporting Lisbon where I had a 3-0 lead from the first leg, second leg FT score of 6-1 so aggregate of 9-1 lol

Yeah my bad, i was in a rush because i had football, and then i forgot that i was an hour early lol.

Your team popularity may not be high enough or he may not want to join you (check the number on the end of the row where his name is). Otherwise you could just offer him a shed load of money and see if he accepts.

I tried offering a shed loads but it still did not work and it was a 0 at the end, so is that good
