How could Kratos be a secret/guest character if he's owned by Sony? They'd have to have another guest character for the 360 version.

Well if the theory about Hwang and Li-Long is true then logic would dictate the other two slots are belonging to The Apprentice and Algol, meaning no Kratos anyway.

Although most of EGM's rumors are credible, I guess maybe Kratos won't be in it, considering the slots. That's assuming the 4 slots are Hwang, Li, Algol and StarKiller.

Here are the definite possibilities:

- Hwang
- Li
- Algol
- StarKiller
- Bonus Characters
- Mimic Character

And yet, there are only 4 slots left. Unless the Bonuses are stacked with CAS, and there is no mimic character, then they definitely need more slots.

The ideal situation, imo would be:

- Hwang
- Li Long
- Bonus
- Mimic character

- With StarKiller and possible extra guests as bonuses.

OR, Algol could be a mimic character, but I doubt that.

What do you mean by mimic character?

And doesn't it depend on which mode that is? Maybe it is a mode where some character can't be selected (like Abyss who was not in the character select in ToS in Soul Calibur III). Maybe that is why the new bonuses are not there.

It would actually be cool to have a mimic character that switches styles on the fly (Like Unknown from Tekken Tag).

takininja, in SCIII there were so many slots that they could afford to leave characters out in various modes. This character select screen doesn't have an excess # of slots to provide that. Unless they have different character select slots for different modes, which could be possible.

And Tiger, maybe not so much as a 2P for Vader, but more of a "Star Wars" Slot in general.

Meh, I guess it's just wishful thinking that we could get Kratos. I'd actually prefer Altair a tad more though, tbh.

Altair can fit in, heh. And it can work better for exclusive rights, was on both 360 and PS3, after all.

Kratos, might be a special guest 4 the PS3, sounds sweet, but yea Altair would suit alot more.

And Starkiller being Vader's 2nd player costume, I doubt it, it would probably be Anakin Skywalker, since thats who Vader used to be.

As far as the blank character spaces go, I hope Ray is right about Li, Hwang, Algol and Starkiller, but where would the space for the bonus characters be?

Then there is no room for the bonus characters space.

My suspicion is that you won't get to play as Algol(especially if he is the final boss, since you could only play as the final boss once[SC1]) The top row could be Vader, Li, Hwang, and Starkiller, and the space in the bottom corner could be the bonus space.

And as much as I'd like the rumor for Kratos to be true I highly doubt it. The rumor only mentions another character for the PS3, then what about the Xbox? Does it get the shaft? Wait! If the PS3 gets an incredably powerful God/Titan badass, why shouldn't the Xbox? If PS3 get Kratos, the Xbox should get Baldur of Too Human. Now that would be awesome.

Yea I'd rather play as Anakin more then Vader, cause Vader, makes no sense in the game , and I wonder who is the something character. And what about the custom characters, they won't have room too .

Cause Anikin fits soo much better . I think the something is the created characters slot...just a guess

I am pretty sure that the "something" is CAS, because if you look closely it looks like more than one person in the slot, just saying. It is possible it could be bonus characters also.
