The VS screen is pretty good.

I like the stage selection better than SCIII too.

The videos weren't dissapointing. I like that the game punishes those who do nothing but block.

Taki-players shouldn't be turtles anyway.

The fact that blocking can't be utilized as much as before means you'll have to learn to dodge and GI better.

Besides, as long as you attack, your Guard Orb will increase. Just don't block forever.

You'd think by now Mitsurugi would have learnt his lesson and at least put on some kind of clothing...look at those scars.

I saw the new screen shots and I see that Hilde's upper legs are shown a little bit in her second costume. I'm not very surprised by that at all. Also, what's with that star-shaped scar or whatever on Mitsurugi's chest?

They showed that in one of the game's openings I think. He got hit by an arrow or gun or something while charging after a few opponents.

All the female characters seem to have gone up several cup-sizes. Not so weird for Talim and Amy, but mucho bizarre for Cassandra.

Star-shaped scars are bullet/arrow wounds. He has them in SC3 as well, though they're less visible.

I could be wrong, but I thought Mitsurgi got that scar in Soul Blade. In his ending he tried to beat an opponent who had a rifle but got shot there and lost, unless you did some button input then he won the showdown, but I could never do the input in time. However the ending where he won could be canon thus he wouldn't have the scar cuz he wouldn't have been shot and he could have the scar from something else

I lol @ you guys who doesn't know that. It was in Soul Calibur facing that guy with the Rifle. Mitsurugi heard about the new weapon, the Rifle, and heard about Soul Edge and searched for it to beat the guy with the rifle, Tanegashima. That was in Soul Blade. Then he failed to find Soul Edge in Soul Blade and carelessly challenged Tanegashima, lost and got that scar in Soul Calibur.

And Kokoro, you would have known that too if you were not to busy talking about the obviously shit like how the girls have changed & are almost naked and fapping to Seong Mi-Na.

I bothered posting because I was trying to help a member understand where he got the scar from. And in that post I ended with "I think." Still, I don't really pay attention to Mitsurugi's story for SC, don't really like him. Only really recall Ivy's, Taki's, Sophitia's, Kilik's, Xianghua's, Maxi's, and Mina's (from SC1). Perhaps even a little Yoshimitsu, Astaroth, and Voldo.

But he did get hit by a few arrows in SCII...I know he didn't jolt his shoulders for the hell of it.

I wouldn't have liked Soul Calibur as much as I do now if SC didn't had a story...or had a bad one.

True. Soul Calibur has a decent story for a fighting game, imo. Although the majority would just want the fighting games for it's multiplayer capabilities, just to duke it out with others, it does stand out better than say...Tekken.
