Onistly, and then when you beat them anyway they scream and whine and send you hate mail. If it weren't just a bunch of american teens that are usually miserable killjoys i would'nt be annoyed but most people need to learn to have fun.

i agree.. but then again we all have a time when we start to spit hairs.. sorry but my gt is classified... but i played last night and some player was attacking me with low attacks continously,,, i got so pissed that i just kept using power uppercuts and throws.... he got the point but. anyway.. the thing is. we all have a screamer at one point.. americans don't play for fun.. they are far too competetive and when they don't win they throw their teddy out the pram... to me thats sad... if you can't play for fun then don't

Personally, I find this thread offensive.

Last time I checked, every other player on SCIV was a cheap spammer that uses either Kilik, Siegfried, or Cervantes. Sometimes Sophitia. (If they're high leveled.) And most people on XBL that play SCIV don't use mics. So maybe the ones that do are mostly American.

Another thought, most people who play SCIV suck right now anyway...I mean, come on, it's the first SC on a current-gen console, so a bunch of people new to the series are going to get it, so you get more noobs. The game's only been out for less than a month, so that's probably why 80% of the people who play it suck anyway.

Im sorry dude i did not mean to cause offense but Im just going off my own personal experience but you do have a point about the game being release i guess that the majority of players take a while to get use to a game.

its just that being an asshole on xbox live is so much fun sometimes. the best thing is to not take anything seriously on there

i met a french man some days ago and my french is really bad. but we had a lot of fun trash talking french. he did understand some words from me and i did understand less words from him but we all had fun. now he is on my friendlist and we will surely trashtalk together again maybe i will learn to better talk french
btw he wasnt alone, guess there were 2 or 3 other guys and we all had fun he allways said "birosh" guess it means beer but i dont know

Saying that Americans are the biggest assholes on live is no different than saying you will hit a target more by firing more rounds at it. Americans make up the largest demographic of xbox owners; you will see more Americans being assholes over xbox live simply because there are more of them. Now if we are talking about largest percent of a sample population being ass holes, I would have to say that French people are statistically the biggest assholes. I have come across somewhere between 10 and 20 people who were speaking french on xbox live, as a whole. One sent me a message telling me to "Go get your grandmother to wipe the shit from your face, faggot.", about 8 made some comment about all Americans being obese, about 5 who just talked trash in general, and maybe 2 who actually made the game I was playing more entertaining.
On the other hand, I encounter hundreds of American gamers in a week of playing halo, soul calibur, and left 4 dead and maybe 50 of them total do something that makes them seem like a douche. yes there are more, but I see a smaller percentage of American players being ass holes.
I personally have nothing against French people, but statistically speaking from past experiences, a french speaking person is more likely to be a dick than an American.

Another aspect is the American gaming culture. When we used to have game parties at my school is was pretty common for two good friend to act like that whlie battling.

American gamers = Canadian Hocky fans = European Soccer Fans

We just tend to get a little to caught up in the moment.

As someone else already said, Americans a very competive, its drilled into us pretty much from birth up. If you get offended by the way we act, usually we get confused at why you're mad because we were just treating you like one of us.

Its a cultural difference, thats all. Same could be said for people down south compared to people from up north, they get on each others nerves just because they came from a different background.

That, and aside from being overly competive, most American's have a problem with pride. There has to be a reason why we lost, it cant be our infallable gaming skills, the other person cheated, or the controler was busted lol.

I am American and i don't do this. Hell i suck one time I was facing someone and they beat me 73 times then I had to leave and I didn't beat them once. I was the leader so I could have booted him but I just play for fun not some gay reason.
