	I really think SC4 is not just becuase of the star wars people but becuase we can be online and when we play offline you get the game makers own created character like (shadow) voldo i think that is pretty cool -------------------

	Soul Calibur 1 for the Dreamcast was considered by some as the best beat 'em up ever thus the reason for the 3 sequel, some of them, lacking the same praise. I have to agree with them. It was so addictive just like Soul Blade was back on the Playstation 1 but Soul Calibur was superior in every aspect. -------------------

	I always loved the original Soul Calibur in arcades. But I really think Soul Calibur III. It was quite the upgrade from past Soul Calibur games. -------------------

	SC 3 was good, minus the imbalanced AIO. 2 was amazing simply for the Nightmare/Siegfried costum mix. I love SC, moderated SC3 forum and I have Played 4. Not impressed with the new soul. Not at ALL. Garbage. -------------------

	The first Soul Calibur is still the best, imo. It just had an impact none of the others could achieve. SCII is a close second. The game was well balanced, and was still fast and frantic. SCIII was borderline garbage. I tried to be optimistic about it, but the changes to most of the characters were uncalled for, and the balance issues were terrible. The arcade patch only made things worse. SCIV is better, but still not as good as the first two. It's certainly a step up from III though, in terms of balance and gameplay. Lack of fun modes still. Even less than III. The character creation has certainly been upped a significant notch though, but could still improve. Online was not satisfying. ------------------- FFVII ~ SCIV ~ FFIX ~ CC

	Soul Calibur 4 is my favorite. I think each game is usually better than the last, when it comes to fighting games. Although, the other Soul Calibur games are all good games too. I haven't played Soul Calibur 1 much though. I've only played it once at the Arcades. ------------------- Tekken 6 Forum

He's entitled to his opinion, but the majority of the SC community would agree that IV is definitely way better than III. quote Not sure why. 	Although I have this game ordered and on the way, I still got to say that Soul Calibur 1 is the best one. Soul Calibur 1 made a huge impact and it reinvented the Soul series. Soul Calibur II was alright and it was quicker but it didn't last as long as 1. Soul Calibur III sucked imo. The game felt unfinished and too many things were left out. From what I've played so far, SCIV is a lot slower then the other Soul Caliburs but so far it looks like it's better then SCIII. ------------------- King of Fighters XII

	Had a feeling it would be. Oh well, I had low expectations for this game anyways. I just hope it wasn't a waste of 20 bucks. I'll have to wait and see I just wish they brought the best Soul Calibur to the PSN. Playing Soul Calibur 1 online would be sweet. ------------------- King of Fighters XII

	SCIV is still way more polished than SCIII, and a patch was released pretty early to meet the needs of the players, and it was an over-all good patch. If I had as much free time as I used to, I'd be playing it all the time. ------------------- FFVII ~ SCIV ~ FFIX ~ CC
