The reason I put Ashlotte above Shura is that she's more unique, and I'm the type of person who prioritises that. Still, I hope Shura's moveset is available in CaC, would be nice to make my own depiction of Musashi

And as much as I hate to say this, I agree with FB. Taki's costume is a classic one, it's her thing (examples of other characters things;

Ivy: No explanation needed
Rock: Animal skull/skin helmets
Voldo: Homo-erotica
Yun-Seong: Being a moron
etc.)

Fair enough, one may argue that her thing is having big jugs, but still, the skin tight ninja suit with a ridiculous choice of colour seems to fit the bill too

But the changes for the characters you mentioned ain't that boring. And their outfit wasn't boring to begin with...so yeah. Taki's 'classic' outfit is more like....for male-ninjas, too. She should wear something more...female-ninja~ish. lol

Hilde looks okay. A strange style, to be sure.

The thing I liked about SCII more than SCIII was that the impact of every hit felt more solid or real. I think SCIV is better in that aspect.

And clearly Sophitia is still the big dog.

I have quite a few terrible memories of my Taki being raped by that broken character.
