Battling Blacklist - Read Every Day

Pretty much the same story as the trading blacklist. Hopefully most of you are smart enough to know what's what, but there are some who think they're above everyone and believe they can get away with using overly hacked Pokemon against others.

I personally have no problem with hacking when it is within legal bounds and clearly admitted beforehand. That's how I go about testing team ideas, as do many others, because it's efficient.

But, we have to protect everyone no matter what their belief is, so here's the drill.

Has someone used hacked Pokemon against you when you agreed on a strictly non-hack battle?

eg. The whole team is shiny, starters/fossils in anything other than pokeballs, all max IVs, etc.

Has someone used Pokemon against you that are beyond legal theoretical limits?

eg. 999 all stats, more than 510 evs (often 255 in all), illegal moves or illegal move combinations, etc.

Filing a complaint

Similar to the process for the trading blacklist, but not nearly as extensive. Send me or one of the other moderators a PM containing the basic info:

User's aliases
Friend Code
In-game name
Violation

Title it "[Illegal Pokemon Use] *Username here*".

I remind you that if you agreed to a battle containing a hacked team, that means you must be prepared to fight Pokemon at their theoretic best. Don't complain if you lose if all Pokemon are within bounds.

Punishments

These will vary. If the user can genuinely prove they didn't know they were in violation, they may suffer less. If a person on the Do Not Battle list can sincerely prove they won't cause trouble again, they may be removed. However, this is not to say that this isn't a serious issue, because it is, one way or another.
