It wasn't really running

I was able to run a benchmark, but after that it would shutdown for exceeding the 100c limit.

I actually have no idea. It performs about the same as the noctua cooler though, and from what proto is getting better then the fenrir.

An 850W should be just fine for you. Make sure that you get a good quality one though.

they usually suggest to have at least 40 amps on the 12 volt rail (or a total of 40 amps if on two or more rails). heed that advice.
