The Wii Zapper has received many negative reviews, calling it "a hunk of plastic" and "not worth the free game with it", but I for one bought it and I think it is pretty cool in the Arcade mode, and on Zapper only Multiplayer games.

I'm just wondering if anybody else has the zapper and actually uses it for this game? Or, if you would like the at least try the zapper for this game?

It was hard switching to it but i got used to it for this game. I played without it in the morning, and now always play with it. I only know to use the directional pad to switch guns, so i hold it weird. My middle finger is on B.

I wouldn't mind trying it, but I really don't want to waste my money on something when I can play without it.

Everyone I've talked to who has it says it's a rip-off so I don't plan on getting it.

They are really fun in Arcade mode, and just as well in Zapper only matches on Multiplayer, but on campaign mode and multiplayer matches were you can use both control schemes it really doesn't work too well.

I have to do the same. I don't like how the switched sprint to pressing up twice and changed C to crouching.

So when you use the zapper the controls change? Can't you customize them though?

I haven't really tried to customize them yet, because it tells the controls in the instruction manual for when using the Zapper. Some things can get annoying though when using it. -_-

I heard it's hard to aim with it. Some people say they sucked at first because of it and when they took it out they shot up in the ranks.

Well, I don't recommend using it online in matches where both control schemes are allowed, look for Zapper only matches. It isn't too hard to aim with, but some people have trouble pivoting the Zapper to aim while moving around with the nunchuck behind it. I don't find it hard, but my brothers do.

I have grown accustomed to it, and now i can't play without it. I think whatever you get used to, might be what you play well with.

Thats why they say, 'You can't teach a old dog, new tricks'.

I've become more accustomed with it by playing Zapper only matches, but I will still die four out of five times against someone using the Elite control scheme. -_-

I for one have gotten use to it quite well, it was kind of akward at first, but it makes playing any shooting games a lot more fun, + Links Crossbow Training is a really sweet party game. think of it as buying Links crossbow training and getting a free peripheral with a fun game.

So it basically gives you an idea of how to control with the zapper? Thats kinda cool.
