Online Play |

Can someone explain the whole online play thing to me. I have never really understood it. Do you add people? How long are the matches? Do you often get a large amount of people playing in a match? Is it easy to set up a game with your friends? etc.

Do you add people? Once in the multiplayer mode, you can press "2" to go to the EA messenger. Using this you can press 2 again to find a player, or go through other things such as recent opponents, friend requests, etc. When there is someone you want to add, whether he is under recent opponents, all, or you found his/her persona using the search option, click A on them and select "Send Friend Request", in which a little blinking player icon will show up on their screen when they are in the lobby. They go to the Friend Requests sections and see it, click on it and deny, accept, or block the user.
How long are the matches? They vary. The one who sets up the room/server chooses the level, how many people, as well as a number of other things including whether for there to be time limit and/or first team/player to get a certain number of kills or captures of the flag. Do you often get a large amount of people playing in a match? Before joining a game, it will show the max number of people for each game, as well as how many people are in it so you can decide how big a match you want to join. Is it easy to set up a game with your friends? If you know them in real life, or have their Wii friend code then yes, but with the choices of automative messages it is a little hard to go to a match that is already started, but you can send an invitation to play a game with you. Any more questions? -------------------

Well, just about everthing is customizable Since the WiFi is EA Nation, there are no Friend Codes.(Yay) You add people by going into EA Messenger by pressing 2 and then you type in your friends Persona, and then you select the correct one. Once you do that, thye will get a friend request, and they will be able to accept it or decline it. It is easy to set up games wih friends because you are ale to make a game password protected so you can play only with people who know the password. For player amounts, it depends on what the maker of the game wants. There are often large games, and many small ones. There is a game lobby, so unlike metroid, you choose what game you go into. -------------------
