A New Bowser's Castle Glitch, yep the 4th glitch shortcut track, this ghost demonstrates doing it for two laps.

HOW DO PEOPLE FIND THESE THINGS!!!

the people who find these things have FAR to much free time. but still. i am going to have to try it. I think there may be one in maple treeway aswell. While racing a ghost on Nintendo WFC i was at least 10 seconds ahead on the last lap (this guy seriously sucked) i was going across the bouncy net thing and this gut was still up near the worm things and he slowed down and rode round in a circle for a while. i crossed the line and i lost... dunno how but oh well.

it does work in the UK version of the game. i just tried it and beat my time trial record by half a minute by doing it on all 3 laps it takes a while to master but once you have the hang of it, it becomes easy.

it only saves like 7 seconds if you do it in three laps lol.

it saved about 25 seconds for me, maybe i played a lot better as well. but it does cut of quite a significant part of the track.

How the flip does he get up there?! After jumping, does he do one of those flips in the air which give you boosts afterwards, because it doesn't really seem like it. But if he doesn't, how does he still get up so high? I tried, but I just crashed way lower down the wall.
