In 150cc, get a one-star rank or better in all of the cups that feature original courses. Just avoid going off-road too much and try to stay in first place for as long as you can.

its really hard to stay in 1st place, because the other players are constantly bombing you with items

With enough practice, the only item you will ever have to worry about is the infamous blue shell. You can almost always shake red shells by getting really close to a wall/boundary or the edge of a cliff. Still, you should hold onto a banana or shell to be on the safe side. Other than that...

POW Block - Press up on the directional pad (GameCube or Classic controller) or flick the remote/wheel up just when the third tremor occurs. If done correctly, you'll continue to move at the same speed. However, you should slow down or stop if you're making a sharp turn.

Lightning - Rarely matters since all except one player (who's lagging far behind) are affected regardless of skill.

Thunder Cloud - Just bump into someone to get rid of it. If you're in the lead, slow down and wait for an opponent to approach.

Bullet Bill - This always takes up the middle of the road. Stay on the far right or left to avoid it.

Star/Giant Shroom - No great tricks here. Look behind you periodically to make sure you're not in harm's way.

You can reduce the sting of a blue shell if you think logically before you're hit, but it's risky. One way is by looking behind you when you hear the warning sound. If you see someone coming, stop or even go in reverse towards them. With a bit of luck, they'll get caught in the blast radius and won't fly ahead of you by the time you recover (I barely won a wi-fi race because of this). Another is to stop or slow down just before a boost strip. It will get you back to max speed instantly, drastically cutting down your recovery time.

Last but not least, if you're using a vehicle that has crappy acceleration and wind up getting hit by something, brake and accelerate simultaneously until you see blue sparks. Let go and you'll get a slight jolt that gets you to your top speed slightly faster than if you were to just drive. Don't bother doing this if you become tiny, though.

dry bowser is a verry verry verry cool chareter
you should try getting drybones insted.first go togrand prix
100 cc leaf cup. come in first then you can move on to get dry
bowser.

Get at least a star ranking on all the following tracks, 150cc Mushroom Cup, 150cc Flower Cup, 150cc Star Cup, and 150cc Special Cup! A rather hard character to unlock, he was the last unlockable for me! I always had troubles on the Flower Cup still.

Honestly, I suggest unlocking Funky Kong first. He's not hard to unlock at all, and he will really help you because of his stats. Pick him + Bowser Bike/Flamerunner and you'll unlock Dry Bowser in no time.

I was having trouble getting dry bowser too, if your not already, try using the gamecube controller. it really helped me, now ive got two stars on all tracks. try using funky kong with bowser bike to get more than a star, works wonders for me

i got him by dodging everything and all the above hope dis helped

like you, i don't have dry bowser either, but all i know is you have to get golden rank on all 150cc cups to get him.

Like the post above, I'm having troubles with Dry Bowser too. Try Rosalina with the Spear. Or just do what Brolynick09 said. I tried Mushroom Cup with Rosalina on the Spear, and I got an A. I tried every method to get a Star ranking, exept I got 2nd place on the second course...
