The Puzzle in the Attic.

Was I the only one that spent like an hour on this puzzle. It was so hard until I worked it out and it is really very easy. Some of the moving parts just throw you off the trail. Once I worked it out it took only a minute to solve. Thats where I am up to anyway. I don't know how much longer the game has but I think I will finish it today. This has become my favorite Silent Hill. I love the smoking dude. I love the nurses. Love the lurkers. Hate the pendulum dudes, they are hard to fight without taking damage. The decent into hell was so cool. Silent Hill rocks. This could be my favorite game of all time

re: The Puzzle in the Attic.

Oh god, I took hours to do this, I ended up giving it to a friend to do. This puzzle was *bleep*ing worse that hell itself. I would've just blown the box to bits with my shotgun.

Also be careful, Alex's otherworld house is glitchtastic. xD

re: The Puzzle in the Attic.

Yes the puzzle is hard until you realize that its only practical to move three pieces and it tacks a few seconds to solve. Its the other moving pieces that don't need to move that throws you off. I am glade that I am not the only one who struggled with it. when I stopped stressing and started looking at it logically it was easy. Its just hard to look at something logically when you have been playing for four hours, and I just could not stop with such a problem. I would be thinking about it all night. Thats the biggest trouble that I had in the game. Finished it now and it was throughly enjoyable. It has the best creatures and fighting in all the games. I did not find the rifle though, even thought I found heaps of bullets. It was probably in the prison. Yes I got it later but that was near the end.
