re: Is it worth buying?

Depends on how much you've played ToS. The general rule is, the more you liked ToS, the worse this game will seem. Why? This game is perfectly fine on its own, but when compared to its predecessor, it falls quite short.

So, only get it under two conditions: You didn't like/haven't played ToS or you're so much of a ToS fan that you'll get it anyways.

I loved TOS,but since I've heard bad things about it,I've never gotten around to getting it.

I'll probably keep an eye out for a used copy of it.

re: Is it worth buying?

I thought just what you thought!! I loved the TOS for game cube. I played it over and over, unlocked everything (but kratos D:) yet when seen compared to the wii version my mind was set. The voice acting didn't come close to matching which throws the game off and graphics and travel are bad! I loved the quick flight or ride on noishes back! The new game just doesn't seem to give it this. So I didn't buy it.

re: Is it worth buying?

it falls short when compared to TOS1, but it is a fairly decent game that is worth renting or buying used.

also if you like pokemon the monster capturing might be appealing.

yes it is, i played TOS1 and i TOS2 both are good games as they are, for em TOS2 is better in graphics , VA, and maybe gameplay (in TOS1 for me its impossible to make decent air combos) they did worked around this particular point more, but its sadly short.

I heard that it was short, which is part of why I haven't gotten it yet. Is going through the game multiple times to see all the endings worth it?

BTW,You can do air combos !?

re: Is it worth buying?

No. Use the same file for the bad and best ending. The good ending is the best ending without an extra scene at the end. Not worth going through the game again.

Yes, you can do air combos, and they're the only thing that Emil is good for.

But is the bad ending worth going through again to see?

Are air combos really the only thing Emil's good for???

BTW,How many playable characters are in this game, and how long do they stay in the party?

re: Is it worth buying?

Yes, all of Emil's ground combos suck. There are eleven playable characters, and only Emil stays in the party the whole time, with Marta about 80% of the time. Except for one that is just the beginning and sidequests, the rest get about 2-15% of the game. You don't need to go through again for the bad ending. You get it by winning a fight that you're supposed to lose. However, the fight is pathetically easy, so you will get the bad ending if you don't know what fight it is.

What fight is it,and how close is it to the end of the game? Is it against Lloyd?

Yeah, the fight against Lloyd and Marta. Last fight if you get the bad end, and second to last if you get good/best end.

What do you have to do to get the best ending?

re: Is it worth buying?

I had a list somewhere, but for some points, make everyone your friend, don't bow to Lloyd, move quickly, don't get hit by lightning, and don't leave any temples any entering unless required. Then you have to lose the Lloyd and Marta fight. For that, just put your character on full manual and put the controller down. It's the only way.

Ok,I'll keep that in mind if I ever get the game.

I wouldn't have to worry about putting my character on manual, that's what I always do.
