just got the evora, has anyone got the cali or GT

I have both the Lotus and Ferrari California. Haven't got the GT yet, though.

I had the Ferrari California, but was disappointed at the high price and lack of speed... don't have the other 2 yet

I was able to afford the GT Citroen (wiped me out) and WOW it is something else; however, can't really race it anywhere. Arcade only. Instant gratification but bad investment...
edit: You can race the GT online. I had to change tires to N2 and severely detune aerodynamics to get the PP (Performance Points) down to 750. Couldn't do better than 6th!

Lotus Evora - 100,000Cr - Probably the worst of the three. pretty average car by all accounts. Much better cars for 100k such as Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe

Ferrari California - 300,000Cr - Good car, not as bad as people say. This car can win the S9 Event on Daytona Speedtway for 45k for just over 4 minutes of racing. Good speed and acceleration and handling is OK too!

GT by Citroen - 1,000,000Cr - This car is phenomenal!!!! Brilliant Cornering capability, fantastic top Speed and great acceleration, BUT just a note, this car ONLY has 1 gear!!! But unlike what was said above, this car can be used in events that don't use Performance Points, such as Class C, Class B and Class A. But you cant use it in Class S because it has like 950 Performance points, only being beaten by the F1 Car. This car is only surpassed by the Ferrari F2007 F1 car.


If anyone can remember the only other car I have ever seen in Gran Turismo with just 1 Gear was the NIKE Car in Gran Turismo 4!

hmmm... don't have any of these yet - for ferraris, I'm happy with my F430 and F40, so the california is useless (although the 599 looks so good I might buy that)

and why on earth would I buy a car as crap as a lotus evora? My ferraris, ford gt, and ford gt spec II test car, are all excellent cars that far surpass the evora.

I really want that GT by Citroen, but it depends if I can finish Sclas or not - if I can I'll just save up for the F2007 instead, but if I can't this is the best car available to me so I would buy that (700+ HP is just rediculous )
