It's a beast of a map tbh,

hard to get used to, with the snow etc, and no envig.

Seconded. It's a really fun level but hard to adjust to the blizzards. Then again because I'm a very stealthy player it makes sneaking around and up on people easier.

Nobody picks it in the list of maps - I have no idea why. I don't think it was very IN YOUR FACE like all the expansions where so I assume there's a lot of players that don't even know it exists.

And maybe you don't get the level unless you have the expansions. Thats the only reason I can think of.

The C.Wolf map is avaible for download? Where, how? I must know.

You don't download it. If you have the scene expansion then with the last update (or the one before the last?) you should have automatically received the ability to play in I.I

And yes it is the stage that you fight crying wolf on MGS1!

To be honest it ranks in my top 10 maps in MGO... maybe even in the top 5. It is a VERY stealthly map brilliant for getting up close (shotgun) and sometimes CQC (like tracking your opponent like a wolf! Seriously!), also taking advantage of heights (the two towers in the middle of the map) for snipers. I didn't find it hard to adjust to the snow storm, perhaps it is my TV settings or perhaps it's just my eyes, but i really enjoy Icebound inferno!
