Im trying to defeat deadwood but I run out of acorns very quickly and so dont get past the first stage and there doesnt seem to be any more to refill? is there a cheat I can use?

after a while, the person who has been captured by dead wood should drop acorns to you, once you run out. But if you want to learn how to conserve your acorns, try not to spam the shoot button when there are enemies near you, and remember that you can shoot upwards by holding up and shooting.

Usually one or two shots is enough, but what I see from other people, they shoot about 3-5 shots at a single enemy for the reason of just trying to get up to the top as fast as possible, and working their way down.

on the first stage, use this cheat that makes you invincible and when mosters touch you they die:
