So I finally beat the game, and I went to the place where you can evolve your pokemon. I only have two pokemon (never recruited any throughout the game), the ones I started the game with (starter and partner), and they are a chimchar and a totodile. However, when I went to the place where I evolve, I was told that my two pokemon CANT evolve. Why is this!? I know Chimchar can evolve, but he says he can't. Please help!

level it up then and you havte to beat darkrai and recruit manaphy. and get marine resort.

I thought it was Cresselia you had to recruit. Ah well, what do I know.

you have to recruit manaphy ad then it will stay with you and give you marine resort and if you say no you will never evolve your starters of course if you recruit it you wll never get to say "Farewell to it".

Ok this is how you do it first you have to beat the game then go on with the missons you do after the game beat regis then beat everything upto darkrai which is really hard after u beat darkrai then you do about 7 missons then manaphy will come back and join you do 3 missons with him/her in party and then it will tell you about marine resort then you beat it and the next day go to spacial rift and recruit palkia then you can evolve really idk why they made it so complicated it took me forever to find out how btw u can recruit palkia before or after u get manaphy and it wont matter and dude really try to recruit some pokemon to help you -.-
