 Welcome one and all to a Premier League offline Competition, which is something I'm sure nearly all of you know about, but a few of you don't so I'll rather briefly explain it. This is an offline game of Football Manager, ran by myself, in which twenty members will be assigned a team to manage for the season and try and bring success to. Obviously it's easier to be Man Utd than it is Hull, but that adds to the fun of trying to stay up if your a low team. You sent me transfer bids, tactics, everything I need. I don't want to lay down too many rules, but here's a few I feel need to be laid down. First of all, I request you've been a member over 10 months, have a postcount of over 1000 and generally be active enough to send in tactics. Meanwhile, I'll explain a few things that I know will pop up throughout the sign ups. Instead of the 8.02 update, I'll be playing it on Ricardlfc's slightly modified version of Minsterman's update (which is based off the 8.02 update incedentally), meaning Hull, West Brom and Stoke are in the league instead of Derby, Birmingham and Reading. When making a bid for someone already belonging in the Premier League, I request you post here with the amount you're bidding (or just simply state you're enquiring if that's what you're doing), but with players from foreign leagues, I request you Neoseeker PM me so nobody else sees you bidding and tries to steal him from under your nose. [Also, apologies to enfielf fc for also running a Premier League offline contest, but I've been in the competition waiting list for months so it's not like I've popped up from nowhere and gotten the idea.] This message was edited by Mosh on Jul 02 2008. | |
